The tumor microenvironment（TME） differs from normal tissue cells in its physiological and biochemical *** construction of TME-responsive nanoplatforms requires a tedious preparation process and complex multicomponent *** this work,Er@EGCG-Cu,a TME-responsive nanoplatform,was simply and rapidly synthesized by combining rare earth-doped nanomaterials（NaLuF4:Yb,Er） with EGCG-Cu which is based on the ability of metal ions to coordinate with polyphenols to form a metal-phenolic network（MPN） *** MPN structure is then destroyed under an acidic TME,releasing the chemotherapy（CT） drug EGCG,which can cause apoptosis,CuxSyis generated by combining Cu2+with H2S overexpressed in human colorectal cancer cells and can be used for photothermal therapy（PTT）.Cell experiments show that laser irradiation improves the CT/PTT synergistic effect of Er@*** study has significance for the construction of TME-responsive nanomedicines with simple and rapid preparation for synergistic therapy.

Exclusive hypothesis testing is a new and special class of hypothesis testing. This kind of testing can be applied in survival analysis to understand the association between genomics information and clinical information about the survival time. Besides, it is well known that Cox's proportional hazards model is the most commonly used model for regression analysis of failure time. In this paper,the authors consider doing the exclusive hypothesis testing for Cox's proportional hazards model with right-censored data. The authors propose the comprehensive test statistics to make decision, and show that the corresponding decision rule can control the asymptotic Type Ⅰ errors and have good powers in theory. The numerical studies indicate that the proposed approach works well for practical situations and it is applied to a set of real data arising from Rotterdam Breast Cancer Data study that motivated this study.

Partial differential equations(PDEs) characterize transport phenomena and fluid flow, and common cases include heat exchangers and road traffic [1]. Recently, scholars have become enthusiastic about event-triggered control(ETC) of hyperbolic PDEs, primarily because it can help conserve computing and communication resources. For example,Ref. [2] presented an output feedback ETC scheme for 2 × 2hyperbolic PDEs.

A novel,cheap and highly efficient Ni-Co/Mo_(2)C/Co_(6)Mo_(6)C_(2)@C nanocomposite has been successfully constructed through simple one-step carbonization method in a nitrogen *** in the precursor can effectively anchor molybdenum-based Keggin-type polyoxometallate and NiCo-layered double hydroxide through electrostatic and coordination interactions,which avoids the aggregation of catalyst particles during the pyrolysis *** optimization,the obtained Ni-Co/Mo_(2)C/Co_(6)Mo_(6)C_(2)@C possesses small size(3-8 nm),large specific surface area and hierarchical pore *** importantly,Ni-Co/Mo_(2)C/Co_(6)Mo_(6)C_(2)@C presents remarkable hydrogen evolution reaction activity with low overpotentials in 0.5 mol·L^(-1)H_(2)SO_(4)(102.3 mV)and 1 mol·L^(-1)KOH(95 mV)to afford the current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2),as well as small Tafel slopes of 82.49 and 99.92 mV·dec^(-1),***,this catalyst also shows outstanding stability for 12 h without a significant change in current *** excellent catalytic performance of Ni-Co/Mo_(2)C/Co_(6)Mo_(6)C_(2)@C can put down to the synergistic effect between multiple components and the small size of the *** work provides unique insights into the preparation of efficient transition metal-based catalysts for HER.

Feedback shift registers(FSRs) are pivotal in generating pseudorandom sequences for stream ciphers and play a crucial role in error detection and code correction. This paper investigates the resilience of grain-like cascade FSRs(GLC-FSRs) against two types of fault attacks: hard and soft. First, we introduce a new criterion for assessing the nonsingularity of GLC-FSRs using the structure matrices of feedback functions,which enable the measurement of the number of nonsingular GLC-FSRs. Second, we demonstrate that GLC-FSRs subject to hard fault attacks become singular as determined by this new criterion. Ultimately,by constructing a soft fault bit set, we discuss the resilience of GLC-FSRs to soft fault attacks. Results demonstrate that singular GLC-FSRs remain singular after being injected by soft fault attacks. Conversely,for nonsingular GLC-FSRs, suitable soft fault attacks are designed to maintain their nonsingular status.

Background Global climate change has resulted in precipitation regimes exhibiting an increasing trend in rainfall intensity but a reduction in its frequency. Nitrogen(N) deposition is a crucial component of the global N cycling. Nematode body size is a trait that responds to climate change and is used as a standard trait-based indicator in soil community analysis. Variations in body size influence metabolic carbon(C). We examined the ways by which body size and metabolic C of nematodes respond to changing precipitation regimes and how N deposition regulates these responses by an 8-year manipulative *** Nematode body size was indicated by the community-weighted mean(CWM) mass. We quantified C metabolism components of soil nematodes including production C, respiration C, and corresponding C use efficiency(CUE) under different precipitation intensities and N addition in a semi-arid steppe on the Mongolian Plateau. The Mantel test was used to determine the correlations between CWM, CUE and environmental factors. The partial least squares path modeling(PLS-PM) was conducted to quantify direct or indirect contributions among latent *** We found that heavy precipitation intensity increased the CWM mass of total nematodes and omnivorespredators without N addition. N addition decreased CWM mass of bacterivores across all the precipitation intensity treatments. Stronger precipitation intensities might be favorable for nematode production and respiration C. Variations in the nematode CWM mass drove the CUE to change with N *** Our findings provide new insights into the mechanisms underlying nematode body size and C metabolism, and highlight that explorative studies, such as manipulative experiments, are needed to identify traits underlying size-related effects and to investigate how they affect CUE of nematodes. Quantum uncertainty relations constrain the precision of measurements across multiple non-commuting quantum mechanical ***,we introduce the concept of optimal observable sets and define the tightest uncertainty constants to accurately describe these measurement *** any quantum state,we establish optimal sets of three observables for both product and summation forms of uncertainty relations,and analytically derive the corresponding tightest uncertainty *** demonstrate that the optimality of these sets remains consistent regardless of the uncertainty relation ***,the existence of the tightest constants excludes the validity of standard real quantum mechanics,underscoring the essential role of complex numbers in this ***,our findings resolve the conjecture posed in[***.118,180402(2017)],offering novel insights and potential applications in understanding preparation uncertainties.

The mid-infrared optical frequency comb is a powerful tool for gas *** this study,we demonstrate a simple midinfrared dual-comb spectrometer covering 3±4μm in Li Nb O_(3)*** on a low-power fiber laser system,the mid-infrared comb is achieved via intra-pulse difference frequency generation in the Li Nb O_(3)*** construct pre-chirp management before supercontinuum generation to control spatiotemporal alignment for pump and signal *** supercontinuum is directly coupled into a chirped periodically poled Li Nb O_(3)waveguide for the 3±4μm idler generation.A mid-infrared dual-comb spectrometer based on this approach provides a 100 MHz resolution over25 THz *** evaluate the applicability for spectroscopy,we measure the methane spectrum using the dualcomb *** measured results are consistent with the HITRAN database,in which the root mean square of the residual is 3.2%.This proposed method is expected to develop integrated and robust mid-infrared dual-comb spectrometers on chip for sensing.

Metal-organic framework(MoF)with a buildable internal structure has aroused great interest focus as self-sacrificing precursors of porous carbon(PC).However,as a drug carrier,the MOF-derived PC developed thus far are generally composed of irregular powder shape due to their crystalline nature,which consequently causing the cerebral infarction,cerebral thrombosis,and other blood *** this article,we propose a novel approach to constructing amorphous carbon microspheres(AcMs)by dis-torting the topological network through hydrothermal treatment precursors of MIL-101(Fe).Then,a distinctive MIL-101(Fe)-derived spherical porous carbons(MSPC)is achieved through high temperature calcination toward *** of the glucose initial concentration and hydrothermal treatment time on the sphericity of the as-prepared mesoporous MsPC were investigated in *** the loading capacities and sustained-release performances of nitroimidazole drugs over MsPC through simulation internal environment of human body at different pH values was systematically *** nitro-imidazole drugs loading rate and release time of MsPC are 10% and 17 h under preferred ***,the MSPC exhibited very low toxicity on Hela cells and 293T cells at the concentrations tested(10-800μg mL^(-1)).This study,therefore,supports the potential of the mesoporous carbon spheres as a carrierfor nitroimidazole drug delivery.

Magnetic reconnection of the self-generated magnetic fields in laser-plasma interaction is an important laboratory method for modeling high-energy density astronomical and astrophysical *** use the Martin-Puplett interferometer(MPI)polarimeter to probe the peripheral magnetic fields generated in the common magnetic reconnection configuration,two separated coplanar plane targets,in laser-target *** introduce a new method that can obtain polarization information from the interference pattern instead of the sinusoidal function fitting of the intensity.A bidirectional magnetic field is observed from the side view,which is consistent with the magneto-hydro-dynamical(MHD)simulation results of self-generated magnetic field *** find that the cancellation of reverse magnetic fields after averaging and integration along the observing direction could reduce the magnetic field strength by one to two orders of *** indicates that imaging resolution can significantly affect the accuracy of measured magnetic field strength.
