Terahertz biotechnology has been increasingly applied in various biomedical fields and has especially shown great potential for application in brain *** this article,we review the development of terahertz biotechnology and its applications in the field of *** evidence indicates promising prospects for the use of terahertz spectroscopy and terahertz imaging techniques in the diagnosis of amyloid disease,cerebrovascular disease,glioma,psychiatric disease,traumatic brain injury,and myelin *** vitro and animal experiments have also demonstrated the potential therapeutic value of terahertz technology in some neuropsychiatric *** the precise underlying mechanism of the interactions between terahertz electromagnetic waves and the biosystem is not yet fully understood,the research progress in this field shows great potential for biomedical noninvasive diagnostic and therapeutic ***,the biosafety of terahertz radiation requires further exploration regarding its two-sided efficacy in practical *** review demonstrates that terahertz biotechnology has the potential to be a promising method in the field of neuropsychiatry based on its unique advantages.

Solid solutions of the lead-free ferroelectric oxides Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)(BNT)and Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)(BKT),represented as(1-x)BNT-xBKT,are studied for very close compositions in the range0≤x≤0.36 to understand the correlation between the structure and the *** are varied in steps of △x=0.02 in the range0≤x≤0.1 and0.2≤x≤0.36 and△x=0.01 in the range 0.1≤x≤0.2,to precisely locate the structural transition as well as the morphotropic phase boundary(MPB)region and the compositional region of best *** refinement analysis of the powder X-ray diffraction patterns showed monoclinic phase up to x=0.17 and a mixture of monoclinic and tetragonal phases for x>***,the density and the dielectric constant showed linear variation up to x=0.17 and a large increase above this composition,showing maximum values in the compositional range 0.22≤x≤0.26,corresponding to the MPB *** features also showed corresponding changes,indicating close relationship between the structure,microstructure and properties of the different compositions.

There are 6 in-vacuum eddy current septum magnets used for booster injection, extraction, and storage ring injection in SSRF. Special attention was paid to coils and their support designs because of the shock force they bear in the magnetic fields and the high heat which is hard to be dissipated in vacuum environment. For the storage ring magnets, good transverse homogeneity in the gap was achieved by careful design, precise machining and accurate assembly; and an extremely low leakage field on the stored beam is another key feature thanks to the high permeability Mu metal. Magnetic field measurement was conducted with both a point coil and a long integral coil, and the results agree well with the OPERA-2d/3d simulations. An inner tube is added to keep the continuity of impedance for the circulating beam with two RF finger flanges at each end. There is no vacuum separation between the inner tube and the magnet chamber. Sputter ion pumps integrated with NEG are used to acquire the UHV for the chamber.

A pulsar timing array(PTA) refers to a program of regular, high-precision timing observations of a widely distributed array of millisecond pulsars. Here we review the status of the three primary PTA projects and the joint International Pulsar Timing Array project. We discuss current results related to ultra-low-frequency gravitational wave searches and highlight opportunities for the near future.

In this paper we review the provision of the laser diagnostics that are installed on the Vulcan laser facility. We will present strategies for dealing with the energy of high energy systems and with ways of handling the beam sizes of the lasers. We present data captured during typical experimental campaigns to demonstrate their reliability and variation in shot to shot values.

17 samples were collected from aeolian and lacustrine profiles within the environment sensitive zone of the Loess Plateau, and an experimental method was established which is suitable for pollen extraction from aeolian sediment. A comparative study of pollen dating was carried out using the accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS)14C dating of known age samples, and then an experiment with the pollen concentrates was performed. The results indicate that pollen that has been deposited simultaneously with sediment in a stable environment can provide reliable ages. This technique will provide a way of improving the chronological framework for the Loess Plateau since the late Pleistocene. TheI4c dating was combined with field investigations, and from the geological record within this zone, evidence was extracted of four major monsoon precipitation changes during the transition from the late Pleistocene to Holocene.

A 300MHz solid nmr study on the compatibility of ACR （poly （methyl methacrylate-co-methacrylate）, in the ratio of 1:1）-PVC （poly （vinyl chloride）） blends is reported. Spin-lattice （T1） and spin-spin （T2） relaxation time of ACR, PVC and their blends are recorded in the temperature range from 215K to 355K. Experimental results indicate that ACR and PVC are compatible with each other and the domain size is smaller than 25 nm, but heterogeneit（?）s of molecular dimensions still exist. Some problems of mechanism of compatibility and data analysis are also discussed.
