Predicting maximum Lifespan Limits at mean menopausal Age

The age at which a woman enters natural menopause has also been associated to death from any cause. menopause is a natural component of aging that happens between the ages of 45 and 55, with the average menopausal age being 51. Previous research has revealed the age at which women reach menopause, but there is no evidence to support the link between menopause and longevity. We made a study in assessing the limits of maximum lifespan at menopausal age in our previous article. In this paper, we aim to predict the maximum lifespan of women at mean menopausal age.

First principles study of structural, electronic and mechanical properties of transition metal hydrides(TmH, Tm=mo,Tc, Ru)

The structural, electronic and mechanical properties of transition metal hydrides （TmH, Tm=mo, Tc, Ru） are investigated by means of first principles calculation based on density fimctional theory with generalized gradient approximation. Among the five crystallographic structures that have been investigated, the cubic phase is found to be more stable than the hexagonal ones. A structural phase transition from ZB to WC in moll, naC1 to niAs in TcH and naCI to ZB to niAs in RuH is also predicted under high pressure. The calculated elastic constants indicate that all the three hydrides are mechanically stable at ambient pressure.

Cytokinin induced shoot regeneration and flowering of scoparia dulcis L.(scrophulariaceae)-an ethnomedicinal herb

Objective:To develop an improved protocol for micropropagation of ethnomedicinally important scoparia dulcis(***) ***:Explants were inoculated on ms basal medium supplemented with kinelin and 6-benzylaminopurine for shoot bud *** enhance the shoot induction,various auxins like 3-indoleacetic acid or 3-indolebutyric acid or a-naphthylacetic acid were tested along with 2.32 m KI and 4.44 μ m *** regenerated shoots were rooted in half strength ms medium supplemented with various concentrations of IAA,IBA or *** roots were developed,the plantlets were transplanted to pots filled with vermiculate and sand and kept in growth chamber with 70%-80%humidity under 16 h *** acclimatization,the plantlets were transferred to the garden and survival percentage was *** were statistically analyzed and means were compared using Duncan's multiple range test(Psults:An in vitro method was developed to induce high frequency shoots regeneration from stem,mature leaf and young leaf explants of *** induction on young leaf explants was most successful in ms medium supplemented with combination of two cytokinins(2.32 μ m KI and 4.44 μ m BAP) 2.85 μ m IAA,10%Cm and 1 483.79 μm adenine sulfate.A single young leaf explant was capable of producing 59 shoots after 13 days of culture. mushrooms are good sources of phytochemicals that have antioxidant and anti-proliferative *** study identifi ed a unique isoform of 18s rRnA gene(864 bp)from a novel wild mushroom(smK-1)(GenBank accession number:sUB3267363).Thin layer chromatographic(TLC)profiling of the methanolic extract of the dried mushroom fruiting bodies of smK-1 revealed the presence of phenolic and fl avonoid fractions with retention factor(Rf)values of 0.955 and 0.927 *** GC/ms chromatograms of the smK-1 methanolic extract identifi ed the main bioactive compound was phenol,5-methyl-2-(1-methylethyl)(74.00%)(thymol).The radical scavenging activity for the fl avonoid fraction was greater than the phenolic fractions(Rf–phenolics fractions>Rf–fl avonoid fractions)with the antioxidant activity more than that of standard ascorbic ***,the phenolic and flavonoid fractions of smK-1 expressed cytotoxic effects in HeLa cells with IC50 values ranging from 5μg/mL to 80μg/mL in a dose-dependent *** present research highlights the presence of high thymol concentration in a novel wild mushroom that has antioxidant and anti-poliferative potential with therapeutic benefi *** application of thymol natural products from novel mushroom smK-1 as nutrition supplements could inhibit oxidative stress triggered by numerous pathologies that may pave the way to develop a new therapeutic natural drug.
