In this work,we report the dielectric properties of Single wall Carbon Nanotubes(SWCNTs)-based phantom that is mainly composed of gelatin and *** fabricated gelatin-based phantom with desired dielectric properties was fabricated and doped with different concentrations of SWCNTs(e.g.,0%,0.05%,0.10%,0.15%,0.2%,0.4%and 0.6%).The dielectric constants(realε′ and imaginaryε′)were measured at different positions for each sample as a function of frequency(0.5-20 GHz)and concentrations of SWCNTs and their averages were *** Cole–Cole plot(ε′ versusε′)was obtained for each concentration of SWCNTs and was used to obtain the static dielectric constantεs,the dielectric constant at the high limit of frequencyε∞ and the average relaxation timeτ.The measurements showed that the fabricated samples are in good homogeneity and the SWCNTs are dispersed well in the samples as an acceptable standard deviation is *** study showed a linear increase in the static dielectric constantτ and invariance of the average relaxation time τ and the value ofε∞ at room temperature for the investigated concentrations of SWCNTs.

Fenton and ozone treatment was investigated at laboratory scale for the degradation of aqueous solutions of nitrobenzene （NB）. Effects of reactants concentration （O3, H2O2, and Fe（Ⅱ））, temperature, and pH on NB degradation were monitored. Reaction kinetic of these processes was also assessed. A rapid reaction took place for Fenton process at higher initial concentration of H2O2, higher temperatures, and more acidic conditions （pH 3）. Similarly, ozonation reaction exhibited rapid rates for higher ozone dose, higher temperatures, and more basic conditions （pH 11）. Complete NB degradation in 65 min was achieved using Fenton process. The conditions of complete elimination of 100 mg/L of initial NB concentration, were 250 mg/L of H202 concentration, pH 3, and 10 mg/L of Fe（Ⅱ） concentration. Under these conditions, 55% organic carbon elimination was achieved. Total organic carbon mineralization was attained in 240 rain reaction time by Fenton process with 900 mg/L of H202 concentration, and 30 mg/L of Fe（Ⅱ） concentration. Fenton reaction showed a pseudo-first order kinetic; the reaction rate constant was ranged from 0.0226 to 0.0658 min^-1. Complete NB degradation was also achieved for an ozone dose of the order of 2.5 g/L. The ozonation was studied at different ozone doses, different initial pH （7-11） and at different temperatures （15-35℃）. NB ozonation kinetic was represented by a bi-molecular kinetic model which was reduced to pseudo-first order kinetic. The pseudo-first order reaction rate constant was determined to increase at 20℃ from 0.004 to 0.020 min^-1 as the used ozone increased from 0.4 to 1.9 g/L.

This study investigates the possible nonlinear relationship between working capital and credit ***,it examines the relationship between the three components of working capital(inventory,accounts receivable,and accounts payable)and a firm’s credit *** data for U.S listed firms for the period between 1985 and 2017,the results of our ordered probit model show a nonlinear relationship between working capital and its components and credit ***,we find that the deviation from the optimal working capital adversely affects the credit *** results of this study are of significant importance for policy makers,managers,decision makers,and credit-rating agencies,as they help highlight the importance of working capital management for a firm’s credit rating.

The growth of dendrites and the side reactions occurring at the Zn anode pose significant challenges to the commercialization of aqueous Zn-ion batteries（AZIBs）. These challenges arise from the inherent conflict between mass transfer and electrochemical kinetics. In this study, we propose the use of a multifunctional electrolyte additive based on the xylose（Xylo） molecule to address these issues by modulating the solvation structure and electrode/electrolyte interface, thereby stabilizing the Zn anode. The introduction of the additive alters the solvation structure, creating steric hindrance that impedes charge transfer and then reduces electrochemical kinetics. Furthermore, in-situ analyses demonstrate that the reconstructed electrode/electrolyte interface facilitates stable and rapid Zn2+ion migration and suppresses corrosion and hydrogen evolution reactions. As a result, symmetric cells incorporating the Xylo additive exhibit significantly enhanced reversibility during the Zn plating/stripping process, with an impressively long lifespan of up to 1986 h, compared to cells using pure ZnSO4electrolyte. When combined with a polyaniline cathode, the full cells demonstrate improved capacity and long-term cyclic stability. This work offers an effective direction for improving the stability of Zn anode via electrolyte design, as well as highperformance AZIBs.

The biodegradability of wastewater containing priority pollutant pesticideVydine or triadimenol（C14H18CLN3O2） in different bio-reactor configurations was *** laboratory scale biological reactors were employed：one reactor under aerobic condition and the other under anaerobic *** aerobic reactor was operated at an ambient temperature（22±2） °C,while the anaerobic reactor was run in the lower mesophilic range（30±2） °*** effect of pesticide concentration,hydraulic retention time（HRT） ,and co-substrate on the treatment process was explored,using glucose as a supplemental carbon *** than 96%pesticide was removed after an acclimation period of approximately 172 d（aerobic） and 230 d（anaerobic） .The aerobic reactor achieved complete Vydine utilization at feed concentrations up to 25 mg·L^-1 .On the other hand,the anaerobic reactor was able to degrade 25 mg·L^-1 of ***,glucose was consumed first throughout the experiment in a sequential utilization *** combination of anaerobic and aerobic biological processes yielded higher biomass concentration and lower retention time than individual *** biomass in the combined reactors was first acclimated with the corresponding ***,the target pesticide,at a concentration of 25 mg·L^-1,was sequentially treated in a semi batch mode in the *** studies showed that 24 h HRT of aerobic and 12 h HRT of anaerobic were the optimum combination for the treatment of simulated wastewater containing Vydine,which produced Vydine effluent at concentration below 0.1 mg·L^-1 .The optimum ratio of substrate（Vydine） to co-substrate（glucose） was 1︰100.

Layered rare-earth metal oxides, harnessing the dual properties of oxides and two-dimensional layered materials, exhibit remarkable thermal stability and quantum confinement effects. Therefore, this work adopts the first-principles calculation combined with the Boltzmann transport theory to predict the thermoelectric properties of NdZnSbO compound. The coexistence of weak interlayer van der Waals interactions, robust intralayer ionic bonding, and partial covalent bonding leads to remarkable bonding heterogeneity, which engenders pronounced phonon scattering and imposes constraints on thermal transport along the out-of-plane direction. The weakened chemical bonds induced by the antibonding states, together with the rattling-like behavior of the Zn atom, culminate in the profound anharmonicity in the layered NdZnSbO compound. The weakening bond and heavy element contribute to the softness of phonon modes, which significantly diminishes the phonon group velocity. The redistribution-dominated four-phonon scattering process spans a large optical gap, which effectively reduces the lattice thermal conductivity. The NdZnSbO compound exhibits direct semiconductor characteristic with a bandgap of 0.73 e V by adopting the Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof(HSE06) functional in combination with spin–orbit coupling(SOC) effect. The multi-valley feature of NdZnSbO compound augur favorably for band degeneracy, thus amplifying the power factor. Consequently, an optimal figure-of-merit(ZT) of 3.40 at 900 K is achieved for the n-type NdZnSbO compound. The present study delves deeply insights into the origins for the low thermal conductivity of NdZnSbO compound and proposes an optimization scheme to enhance overall thermoelectric performance.
