Adenosine triphosphate-dependent chromatin remodeling complexes are important for the regulation of transcription,DNA replication,and genome stability in *** genetic studies have illustrated various biological functions of core and accessory subunits of chromatin-remodeling complexes in plants,the identification and characterization of chromatin-remodeling complexes in plants is lagging behind that in yeast and *** studies determined whether and how the Arabidopsis SWI/SNF,ISWI,INO80,SWR1,and CHD chromatin remodelers function in multi-subunit complexes in *** conserved and plant-specific subunits of chromatin-remodeling complexes have been identified and *** findings provide a basis for further studies of the molecular mechanisms by which the chromatinremodeling complexes function in plants.

Trimethylated histone H3 lysine 27(H3 K27 me3)is a repressive histone marker that regulates a variety of developmental processes,including those that determine flowering ***,relatively little is known about the mechanism of how H3 K27 me3 is recognized to regulate ***,we identified BAH domain-containing transcriptional regulator 1(BDT1)as an H3 K27 me3 ***1 is responsible for preventing flowering by suppressing the expression of flowering *** of the H3 K27 me3 recognition sites in the BAH domain disrupted the binding of BDT1 to H3 K27 me3,leading to de-repression of H3 K27 me3-enriched flowering genes and an earlyflowering *** also found that BDT1 interacts with a family of PHD finger-containing proteins,which we named PHD1–6,and with CPL2,a Pol II carboxyl terminal domain(CTD)phosphatase responsible for transcriptional ***-down assays showed that the PHD finger-containing proteins can enhance the binding of BDT1 to the H3 K27 me3 *** in all of the PHD genes caused increased expression of flowering genes and an earlyflowering *** study suggests that the binding of BDT1 to the H3 K27 me3 peptide,which is enhanced by PHD proteins,is critical for preventing early flowering.

Although the Trithorax histone methyltransferases ATX1-5 are known to regulate development and stress responses by catalyzing histone H3 K4 methylation in Arabidopsis thaliana,it is unknown whether and how these histone methyltransferases affect DNA ***,we found that the redundant ATX1-5 proteins are not only required for plant development and viability but also for the regulation of DNA *** expression and H3 K4 me3 levels of both RNAdirected DNA methylation(RdDM)genes(NRPE1,DCL3,IDN2,and IDP2)and active DNA demethylation genes(ROS1,DML2,and DML3)were downregulated in the atx1/2/4/5 *** with the facts that the active DNA demethylation pathway mediates DNA demethylation mainly at CG and CHG sites,and that the RdDM pathway mediates DNA methylation mainly at CHH sites,whole-genome DNA methylation analyses showed that hyper-CG and CHG DMRs in atx1/2/4/5 significantly overlapped with those in the DNA demethylation pathway mutant ros1 dml2 dml3(rdd),and that hypo-CHH DMRs in atx1/2/4/5 significantly overlapped with those in the RdDM mutant nrpe1,suggesting that the ATX paralogues function redundantly to regulate DNA methylation by promoting H3 K4 me3 levels and expression levels of both RdDM genes and active DNA demethylation *** that the ATX proteins function as catalytic subunits of COMPASS histone methyltransferase complexes,we also demonstrated that the COMPASS complex components function as a whole to regulate DNA *** study reveals a previously uncharacterized mechanism underlying the regulation of DNA methylation.

As a prospective visible-light-responsive photochemical material,graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))has become a burgeoning research hot topics and aroused a wide interest as a metal-free semiconductor in the area of energy utilization and conversion,environmental protection due to its unique properties,such as facile synthesis,high physicochemical stability,excellent electronic band structure,and ***,the shortcomings of high recombination rate of charge carriers,relatively low electrical conductivity and visible light absorption impede its practical *** strategies,such as surface photosensitization,heteroatom deposition,semiconductor hybridization,etc.,have been applied to overcome the *** all the strategies,functional nanocarbon materials with various dimensions(0D~3D)attract much attention as modifiers of g-C_(3)N_(4)due to their unique electronic properties,optical properties,and easy *** importantly,the properties of these functional nanocarbon materials can be tuned by various dimensions and thus there will be a way to overcome the defects of g-C_(3)N_(4)by choosing different dimensional carbon *** from some present reviews,this review starts with the fundamental physicochemical characteristics of g-C_(3)N_(4)materials,followed by analyzing the advantages of functional nanocarbon materials modifying gC_(3)N_(4).Then,we present a systematic introduction to various dimensional carbon *** design philosophy of carbon/g-C_(3)N_(4)composites and the advanced studies are exemplified in ***,a nichetargeting summary and outlook on the major challenges,opportunities for future research in high-powered carbon/g-C_(3)N_(4)composites was proposed.

The cytotoxicity and apoptotic effect of phytoceramide IV （N-palmitoyl-phytospingosine） were investigated by preparaing the ceramide containing liposomes using cholesteryl hemisuccinate （CHEMS） and methoxypolyethylene glycol （2000） cholesteryl succinate （PEGCHS）. The ceramide-containing liposomes prepared using ultrasonication contained CHEMS and the phytoceramide IV at a molar ratio of 1：1. Gel chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography equipped with an evaporative light-scattering detection （HPLC-ELSD） were used to analyze the liposomes. The results show that the ceramide entrapment efficiency is over 90% and the molar ratio of phytoceramide IV to CHEMS is 1：1.4. The ratio of ceramide to CHEMS as well as the ultrasonication duration affects the liposome properties. The phytoceramide Ⅳ encapsulated in the liposomes reduces the cellular activity of the murine mastocytoma cell line P815 in a dose-dependent manner and the reduction of cellular activity is due to cell apoptosis. 4. 6-diamidino- 2-phenylindole dihydrochloride （DAPI） staining further supports this result. The encapsulation of highly hydrophobic ceramides into liposomal formulations could become a potential candidate for enhanced apoptosis.

Hot Corrosion Behavior of Hf-Doped NiAl Coating in the Mixed Salt of Na_(2)SO_(4)+K_(2)SO_(4)at 900℃

The hot corrosion behavior of the NiAl coating and the 5Hf-NiAl coating induced by mixed salt at 900℃was *** with the NiAl coating,the 5Hf-NiAl coating exhibited superior hot corrosion resistance because the addition of Hf promoted the formation of protective oxide scale and reduced the growth rate of oxide ***,internal sulfides were not present in the 5Hf-NiAl coating after hot corrosion for 140 *** exhibited different distribution in the two coatings since the addition of Hf changed the hot corrosion process of the *** and Ti in the 5Hf-NiAl coating trapped and captured sulfur,preventing the penetration of sulfur into the *** hot corrosion mechanism of the two coating and the effects of Hf on this process were discussed in this work.

Panic disorder is a psychiatric disorder characterized by recurrent panic attacks,with a prevalence of~4%in the general population,causing heavy personal and socioeconomic *** similarities of animal defense responses to clinical panic attack symptoms in humans make it possible to translate neuroanatomical pathways identified in animal studies to panic disorder in ***,in this review we first present a basic overview of panic disorder in humans including the main subtypes,models commonly used to trigger panic attacks,related hypotheses,the neurotransmitter systems that may be involved,and the current clinical treatments to give the reader a comprehensive understanding of panic *** animal section introduces the models that trigger panic-like behavior in animals and the brain regions that may be involved,providing insights for future elucidation of the neural circuit mechanisms behind panic attacks.

The planar Hall effect(PHE),which originates from anisotropic magnetoresistance,presents a qualitative and simple approach to characterize electronic structures of quantum materials by applying an in-plane rotating magnetic field to induce identical oscillations in both longitudinal and transverse *** this review,we focus on the recent research on the PHE in various quantum materials,including ferromagnetic materials,topological insulators,Weyl semimetals,and orbital anisotropic ***,we briefly introduce the family of Hall effect and give a basic deduction of PHE formula with the second-order resistance tensor,showing the mechanism of the characteristicπ-period oscillation in trigonometric function form with aπ/4 phase delay between the longitudinal and transverse ***,we will introduce the four main mechanisms to realize PHE in quantum *** that,the origin of the anomalous planar Hall effect(APHE)results,of which the curve shapes deviate from that of PHE,will be reviewed and ***,the challenges and prospects for this field of study are discussed.
