Chx10-expressing V2 a(Chx10+V2 a) spinal interneurons play a large role in the excitatory drive of motoneurons. Chemogenetic ablation studies have demonstrated the essential nature of Chx10+V2 a interneurons in the regulation of locomotor initiation, maintenance, alternation, speed, and rhythmicity. The role of Chx10+V2 a interneurons in locomotion and autonomic nervous system regulation is thought to be robust, but their precise role in spinal motor regulation and spinal cord injury have not been fully explored. The present paper reviews the origin, characteristics, and functional roles of Chx10+V2 a interneurons with an emphasis on their involvement in the pathogenesis of spinal cord injury. The diverse functional properties of these cells have only been substantiated by and are due in large part to their integration in a variety of diverse spinal circuits. Chx10+V2 a interneurons play an integral role in conferring locomotion, which integrates various corticospinal, mechanosensory, and interneuron pathways. Moreover, accumulating evidence suggests that Chx10+V2 a interneurons also play an important role in rhythmic patterning maintenance, leftright alternation of central pattern generation, and locomotor pattern generation in higher order mammals, likely conferring complex locomotion. Consequently, the latest research has focused on postinjury transplantation and noninvasive stimulation of Chx10+V2 a interneurons as a therapeutic strategy, particularly in spinal cord injury. Finally, we review the latest preclinical study advances in laboratory derivation and stimulation/transplantation of these cells as a strategy for the treatment of spinal cord injury. The evidence supports that the Chx10+V2 a interneurons act as a new therapeutic target for spinal cord injury. Future optimization strategies should focus on the viability, maturity, and functional integration of Chx10+V2 a interneurons transplanted in spinal cord injury foci.

Salt spray corrosion test of micro-plasma oxidation ceramic coatings on Ti alloy

Ceramic coatings were prepared on Ti-6Al-4V alloy in NaAlO2 solution by micro-plasma oxidation （MPO）. The salt spray tests of the coated samples and the substrates were carded out in a salt spray test machine. The phase composition and surface morphology of the coatings were investigated by XRD and SEAM. Severe corrosion occurred on the substrate surface, while there were no obvious corrosion phenomena on the coated samples. The coatings were composed of Al2TiO5 and a little α-Al2O3 and mille TiO2, and the salt spray test did not change the composition of the coatings. The weight loss rate of the coatings decreased with increasing MPO time because of the increase in density and thickness of the coatings. The surface morphology of the coatings was influenced by salt spray corrosion test. Among the coated samples, the coating prepared for 2 h has the best corrosion resistance under salt spray test.

Denote by M and [,M] the maximal commutator and the commutator of M with , respectively. In this paper, the multiple weighted strong and weak type estimates for operators M and [,M] are studied. Some characterizations of the class of functions bj are given, for which these operators satisfy some strong or weak type estimates.

Influence of intermittently etching on quality of CVD diamond thin films

A new method, called growing-etching repetitional process based on hot filament chemical vapor deposition, was proposed to improve the quality of diamond film. During the deposition carbon source was intermittently closed letting hydrogen etch the surface of the diamond film from time to time. In order to find whether it is helpful to the films’ quality, a series of experiments were done. The results show that the new method can enhance the orientation of the chemical vapor deposition diamond films, reduce the graphite phase and increase the film’s surface resistivity.

A new coordination polymer, namely [Ca（HOABDC）], （1, H3OABDC = 5-oxyace- tateisophthalic acid）, has been synthesized through hydrothermal reactions of Ca（NO3）2 and H3OABDC. The title compound crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 4.3043（2）, b = 21.4959（11）, c = 10.7450（6） A, β= 91.411（5）°, V= 993.88（9） A3, C10H6O7Ca, Mr = 278.23, Z = 4, Dc = 1.859 g/cm3, F（000） = 560,μ= 0.659 mm-1, the final R = 0.0328 and wR = 0.0670 for 1469 observed reflections （I 〉 2o（I））. Single-crystal X-ray structural analysis reveals that compound 1 features 1D Ca（II）-carboxylate chain-shaped subunits, which are further connected together via HOABDC2- ligands into a 3D （6,）-connected nia-type hybrid framework. Moreover, the luminescent property and thermal stability of 1 were also investigated

Generating test data that can expose the faults of the program is an important issue in software testing. Al- though previous methods of covering path can generate test data to traverse target path, the test data generated by these methods are difficult in detecting some low-probabilistic faults that lie on the covered paths. We present a method of generating test data for covering multiple paths to detect faults in this study. First, we transform the problem of cover- ing multiple paths and detecting faults into a multi-objective optimization problem with constraint, and construct a mathe- matical model for it. Then, we give a strategy of solving the model based on a weighted genetic algorithm. Finally, we ap- ply our method to several real-world programs, and compare it with several methods. The experimental results confirm that the proposed method can more efficiently generate test data that not only traverse the target paths but also detect faults lying in them than other methods.

Preparation of free-standing diamond films for high frequency SAW devices

Free-standing diamond films were prepared by hot filament chemical vapor deposition (HFCVD) method under different conditions. Inter-digital transducers (IDTs) were formed on the nucleation sides of free-standing diamond films by photolithography technique. Then piezoelectric ZnO films were deposited by radio-frequency(RF) reactive magnetron sputtering to obtain the ZnO/diamond film structures. Surface morphologies of the nucleation sides and the IDTs were characterized by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscope (AFM) and optical microscopy. The results indicate that the surfaces of nucleation sides are very smooth and the IDTs are of high quality without discontinuity and short circuit phenomenon. Raman spectra show the sharp diamond feature peak at about 1 334 cm?1 and the small amount of non-diamond carbon in the nucleation side. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns of the structure of ZnO/diamond films show a strong diffraction peak of ZnO (002), which indicates that as-sputtered ZnO films are highly c-axis oriented.
