Virtual coupling(VC) is an emerging technology for addressing the shortage of rail transportation capacity. As a crucial enabling technology, the VC-specific acquisition of train information, especially train following distance(TFD), is *** this paper, a novel method is proposed to acquire real-time TFD by analyzing the vibration response of the front and following trains, during which only onboard accelerometers and speedometers are required. In contrast to the traditional arts of train positioning, this method targets a relative position between two adjacent trains in VC operation, rather than the global positions of the trains. For this purpose, an adaptive system containing three strategies is designed to cope with possible adverse factors in train operation. A vehicle dynamics simulation of a heavy-haul railway is implemented for the evaluation of feasibility and performance. Furthermore, a validation is conducted using a set of data measured from in-service Chinese high-speed trains. The results indicate the method achieves satisfactory estimation accuracy using both simulated and actual data. It has favorable adaptability to various uncertainties possibly encountered in train operation. Additionally, the method is preliminarily proven to adapt to different locomotive types and even different rail transportation modes. In general, such a method with good performance, low-cost, and easy implementation is promising to apply.

Based on bounded rationality,this paper established a price game model of dual channel supply chain composed of manufacturers and *** to the eigenvalue of Jacobi matrix and Jury criterion,the stability of the equilibrium point is analyzed,and then the dynamic evolution process under the parameters of price adjustment speed and retailer's service input is studied through stability region,bifurcation diagram,maximum Lyapunov exponent diagram and attraction *** results show that the system enters chaos through flip and Neimark-Sacker bifurcation,and increase of price adjustment speed and service input value will make the system produce more dynamic *** addition,it can be found that the impact of service input value on itself is much greater than that on ***,when adjustment speed is selected as bifurcation parameter,the change curve of sales price is inconsistent,in which the change of retailers mainly remains in periodic state,while manufacturers will gradually enter ***,studies the evolution of attraction basin in which three kinds of attractors *** particular,coexistence of boundary attractors and internal attractors increases the complexity of ***,enterprises need to carefully adjust parameters of the game model to control the stability of system and maintain the long-term stability of market competition.

A robust control algorithm is proposed to focus on the non-linearity and parameters＇ uncertainties of an electro-hydraulic proportional speed control system （EHPSCS） with a single-rod hydraulic actuator. The robust controller proposed does not need to design stable compensator in advance, is simple in design and has large scope of uncertainty applications. The feedback gains of the robust controller proposed are small, so it is easily implemented in engineering applications. Experimental research on the speed control under the different conditions is carried out for an EHPSCS. Experimental results show that the robust controller proposed has better robustness subject to parametric uncertainties, and adaptability of parameters＇ variation of control system itself and plant parameter variation.

We deal with the state consensus problem of a general Linear Interconnected Multi-Agent System （LIMAS） under a time-invariant and directed communication topology. Firstly, we propose a linear consensus protocol in a general form, which consists of state feedback of the agent itself and feedback form of the relative states between the agent and its neighbors. Secondly, a state-linear-transformation is applied to equivalently transform the state consensus problem into a partial stability problem. Based on the partial stability theory, we derive a sufficient and necessary criterion of consensus convergence, which is expressed via the Hurwitz stability of a real matrix constructed from the parameters of the agent models and the protocols, and present an analytical formula of the consensus function. Lastly, we propose a design procedure of the gain matrices in the protocol by solving a bilinear matrix inequality.

With the fast increasing of train speed the interactions among the train,the track,and the power cate-nary system become very strong. Such interactions are also strongly coupled with the action of high speed airflow due to the high speed running. Hence,the existing research methods and numerical al-gorithms of railway vehicle/track systems are not fully available for characterizing the transient dy-namic and long-term behaviors of train/track at higher speed. The present paper reviews the existing studies on coupling dynamics of railway vehicle/track,and clarifies their advantages and disadvan-tages and then puts forward an innovation stratagem for high speed railway based on rolling contact of wheel/rail systems. In the innovation stratagem,a comprehensive dynamic model of wheels/rails sys-tems is developed to simultaneously consider the track system,the train,the rolling contact of wheel/rail,the catenary/pantograph system,and the high speed airflow with the train. The motion equations of the subsystems and their coupling boundaries are given and discussed. For the reliability and safety of the high speed train in service,the long-term behavior of the structures of the train and the track is considered in the comprehensive model. Moreover,a generalized failure model,consider-ing the structures and the materials and working in the comprehensive dynamic model of wheels/rails system,as well as the simulation system of structure failure of the high speed train/track is established. Consequently,the present studies on the dynamics of the coupled vehicle/track will be further and largely extended.

The noise identification model of the neural networks is established for the 63SCY14 IB hydraulic axial piston pump. Taking four kinds of different port plates as instances, the noise identification is successfully carried out for hydraulic axial piston pump based on experiments with the MATLAB and the toolbox of neural networks, The operating pressure, the flow rate of hydraulic axial piston pump, the temperature of hydraulic oil, and bulk modulus of hydraulic oil are the main parameters having influences on the noise of hydraulic axial piston pump. These four parameters are used as inputs of neural networks, and experimental data of the noise are used as outputs of neural networks, Error of noise identification is less than 1% after the neural networks have been trained. The results show that the noise identification of hydraulic axial piston pump is feasible and reliable by using artificial neural networks. The method of noise identification with neural networks is also creative one of noise theoretical research for hydraulic axial piston pump.

Numerical Investigation on the Aerodynamic Noise Generated by a Simplified Double-Strip Pantograph

In order to understand the mechanism by which a pantograph can generate aerodynamic noise and grasp its farfield characteristics,a simplified double-strip pantograph is analyzed ***,the unsteady flow field around the pantograph is simulated in the frame of a large eddy simulation(LES)*** the location of the main noise source is determined using surface fluctuating pressure data and the vortex structures in the pantograph flow field are analyzed by means of the *** on this,the relationship between the wake vortex and the intensity of the aerodynamic sound source on the pantograph surface is ***,the far-field aerodynamic noise is calculated by means of the Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings(FW-H)equation,and the contribution of each component to total noise and the frequency spectrum characteristics are *** results show that on the pantograph surface where vortex shedding or interaction with the wake of upstream components occurs,the pressure fluctuation is more intense,resulting in strong dipole *** far-field aerodynamic noise energy of the pantograph is mainly concentrated in the frequency band below 1500 *** peaks in the frequency spectrum are mainly generated by the base frame,balance arm and the rear strip,which are also the main contributors to the aerodynamic noise.

Railroad operating experience in permafrost conditions has shown that deformations of embankments on thawing foun- dations last for a long time. After an initial period of heat settlement due to permafrost degradation, the determining factor is the plastic flow of seasonal thawed soils of the foundation upper layer under the embankment. This paper provides a method to evaluate these deformations, and calculation examples using data from line sections of the Chum-Labytnangi railway in northwestern Russia. It also discusses several methods of embankment stabilization, including the use of ver- tical thermosiphons.
