Remote Sensing Inversion of Nitrogen Nutrition Status of Apple Tree Leaves during Stopping Period of Spring Shoots

The nutrient inversion model of apple leaves was established by spectral analysis technology to provide technical support for the fine management of apple *** Shuangquan Town,Changqing District,Jinan city,Shandong Province,the Fuji apple trees with stopping period of spring shoots were taken as research *** spectral reflectance and nitrogen content of apple leaves were measured by ASD Field Spec 4 portable ground object *** the correlation between leaf nitrogen content and spectral *** sensitive wavelengths with high correlation coefficient were select by fractional differential algorithm,and the optimal vegetation index was constructed and screened *** Least Square Regression(PLSR),Support Vector Machine(SVM)and Random Forests(RF)method were used to construct an inversion model of leaf nitrogen *** results show that the RF model based on fractional differential second-order treatment is the best inversion model for the nitrogen content of leaves during stopping period of spring *** modeling accuracy determination coefficient R2 reached 0.891,RMSE was 0.0841,and RPD was *** determination coefficient R2 of the fitting results of the verification set was 0.617,RMSE was 0.1251,and RPD was *** inversion model established by RF method is effective in monitoring the nitrogen content in apple leaves,which provides a theoretical basis for monitoring the growth of apple by hyperspectral technology.

Aiming at the integrative management and comprehensive applications of large-scale 3D geospatial information covering the full 3D space of a city, this paper briefly introduces the design and implementation of a full 3D GIS platform： GeoScope, which provides a professional solution for the massive full three-dimensional geospatial data integration, management, analysis, visualization, and applications. GeoScope is characterized by：（1） extendible software architecture based on the hierarchical message bus, facilitates multimodal integrative applications of 2D GIS and 3D GIS; （2） unified 3D city models, support multiscale se- mantic representation of outdoor ＆ indoor and aboveground ＆ underground 3D objects; （3） high-efficient 3D geospatial database engine, supports integrated management of massive 3D geospatial data for real-time applications; and （4） high-performance visualization engine exploiting the massively parallel computation architecture of modem GPUs, supports real-time realistic rendering of large-scale complicated 3D geospatial environments. The successful pilot application of GeoScope is also illustrated with the 3D city models of 8494 knl2 of the whole Wuhan city, the largest city in middle China.

Spectrum resources are the precious and limited natural *** order to improve the utilization of spectrum resources and maximize the network throughput,this paper studies the resource allocation of the downlink cognitive radio network with non-orthogonalmultiple access(CRN-NOMA).NOMA,as the key technology of the fifth-generation communication(5G),can effectively increase the capacity of 5G *** optimization problem proposed in this paper aims to maximize the number of secondary users(SUs)accessing the system and the total throughput in the *** the constraints of total power,minimum rate,interference and SINR,CRN-NOMA throughput is maximized by allocating optimal transmission ***,for the situation of multiple sub-users,an adaptive optimization method is proposed to reduce the complexity of the optimization ***,for the optimization problem of nonlinear programming,a maximization throughput optimization algorithm based on Chebyshev and convex(MTCC)for CRN-NOMA is proposed,which converts multi-objective optimization problem into single-objective optimization problem to *** the same time,the convergence and time complexity of the algorithm are *** analysis and simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively improve the system *** terms of interference and throughput,the performance of the sub-optimal solution is better than that of orthogonal-frequency-division-multiple-access(OFDMA).This paper provides important insights for the research and application of NOMA in future communications.

Sustainable sanitation is an approach for more ecological and sustainable water resources management. In this paper, we proposed one of the new integrated waste treatment systems： an ＂sustainable sanitation system＂ that includes separation of the black water from water system by a non-flushing toilet （bio-toilet）, and a gray water treatment based on a biological and ecological concept. Sustainable sanitation system also converts the domestic waste to soil conditioners and fertilizers, for farmland use. As one of the case studies, Environmentally Symbiotic Housing in which people actually live using the bio-toilet for the black water treatment and the household wastewater treatment facility for the gray water was introduced. The availability of this system was investigated by analyzing the sawdust used in the bio-toilet and the quality of the effluent in the household wastewater treatment facility. As the result, the water content of the sawdust did not exceed 60% in any of the sampling points and the BOD and COD of the effluent of the household wastewater treatment facility were below 10 and 20 mg/L respectively, due to the low loading. Compared to the pollution load on the water environment created by the conventional system, it was found that the effluent of the house has a lower load than the tertiary treatment and the volume of the water consumption is 75% of the conventional system.

North Africa is one of the most regions impacted by water *** implementation of controlled drainage(CD)in the northern Nile River delta of Egypt is one strategy to decrease irrigation,thus alleviating the negative impact of water *** study investigated the impacts of CD at different levels on drainage outflow,water table level,nitrate loss,grain yield,and water use efficiency(WUE)of various wheat *** levels of CD,i.e.,0.4 m below the soil surface(CD-0.4)and 0.8 m below the soil surface(CD-0.8),were compared with subsurface free drainage(SFD)at 1.2 m below the soil surface(SFD-1.2).Under each drainage treatment,four wheat cultivars were grown for two growing seasons(November 2018–April 2019 and November 2019–April 2020).Compared with SFD-1.2,CD-0.4 and CD-0.8 decreased irrigation water by 42.0%and 19.9%,drainage outflow by 40.3%and 27.3%,and nitrate loss by 35.3%and 20.8%,*** CD treatments,plants absorbed a significant portion of their evapotranspiration from shallow groundwater(22.0%and 8.0%for CD-0.4 and CD-0.8,respectively).All wheat cultivars positively responded to CD treatments,and the highest grain yield and straw yield were obtained under CD-0.4 *** the initial soil salinity as a reference,the soil salinity under CD-0.4 treatment increased two-fold by the end of the second growing season without negative impacts on wheat *** the drainage system by raising the outlet elevation and considering shallow groundwater contribution to crop evapotranspiration promoted water-saving and *** responses could be obtained based on the different plant tolerance to salinity and water stress,crop characteristics,and growth ***-specific soil salinity management practices will be required to avoid soil salinization due to the adoption of long-term shallow groundwater in Egypt and other similar agroecosystems.

Targeted genotyping is an extremely powerful approach for the detection of known genetic variations that are biologically or clinically ***,for non-model organisms,large-scale target geno-typing in a cost-effective manner remains a major *** address this issue,we present an ultrahigh-multiplex,in-solution probe array-based high-throughput diverse marker genotyping(HD-Marker)approach that is capable of targeted genotyping of up to 86000 loci,with coverage of the whole gene repertoire,in what is a 27-fold and six-fold multiplex increase in comparison with the conventional Illumina GoldenGate and original HD-Marker assays,*** perform extensive analyses of var-ious ultrahigh-multiplex levels of HD-Marker(30 k-plex,56 k-plex,and 86 k-plex)and show the power and excellent performance of the proposed method with an extremely high capture rate(about 96%)and genotyping accuracy(about 96%).With great advantages in terms of cost(as low as 0.0006 USD per geno-type)and high technical flexibility,HD-Marker is a highly efficient and powerful tool with broad appli-cation potential for genetic,ecological,and evolutionary studies of non-model organisms.

Evaluating Beijing’s human carrying capacity from the perspective of water resource constraints

In this study, we report the mass mortality of grass carps(Ctenopharyngodon idellus) caused by Vibrio cholerae in Dafeng city of Jiangsu Province. We evaluated of the phenotypic, morphological, physiological, biochemical and virulence factor characteristics as well as the drug sensitivity of the CY-1 strain isolated from the liver, spleen, kidney and brain of dying grass carps(Ctenopharyngodon idellus).The 16 S r RNA gene(Gen Bank accession number: KF386612) was amplified and compared with sequences deposited in Gen Bank. A phylogenetic tree analysis showed that the isolated pathogen was V. cholerae and that it was most closely related to V. cholerae(Gen Bank accession number: JN555611). Artificially infected grass carp that died exhibited the same disease characteristics as those of naturally infected fish. An amplified band in the corresponding 564-bp position was detected as the virulence factor, and it was the same as that of the V. cholerae virulence factor ctx A. Drug sensitivity tests showed that V. cholerae was resistant to penicillin, tobramycin, cotrimoxazole and amoxicillin and was highly sensitive to cefuroxime, amikacin, tetracycline and nitrofurantoin;these could possibly be used in the treatment of this disease. The findings of this study can be used as a reference for disease control and health management in the cultivation of C. Idellus.

As the demands on limited water resources intensify, concerns are being raised about the human carrying capacity of these resources. However, few researchers have studied the carrying capacity of regional water resources. Beijing, the second-largest city in China, faces a critical water shortage that will limit the city’s future development. We developed a method to quantify the carrying capacity of Beijing’s water resources by considering water-use structures based on the proportions of water used for agricultural, industrial, and domestic purposes. We defined a reference structure as 45：22：33 （% of total, respectively）, an optimized structure as 40：20：40, and an ideal structure as 50：15：35. We also considered four domestic water quotas： 55, 75, 95, and 115 m 3 /（person·yr）. The urban carrying capacity of 10–12 million was closest to Beijing’s actual 2003 population for all three water-use structures with urban domestic water use of 75 m 3 /（person·yr）. However, after accounting for our underlying assumptions, the adjusted carrying capacity is closer to 5–6 million. Thus, Beijing’s population in 2003 was almost twice the adjusted carrying capacity. Based on this result, we discussed the ecological and environmental problems created by Beijing’s excessive population and propose measures to mitigate these problems.
