The dielectric constant and dielectric loss of Te10Ge10Se80-xSbx (x=3, 6, 12 at. pct) chalcogenide alloys were measured in the temperature range (300 to 453 K) and the frequency range (100 Hz to 100 kHz). The real dielectric constant ∈′and imaginary dielectric constant ∈' show a decrease with increasing frequency and an increase with increasing temperature. All samples display dielectric dispersion. Both ∈′ and ∈' show a Debye relaxation type. The enthalpy activation energy ΔH and activation energy WH were calculated. Cole-Cole diagram consists of an arc of semicircle shifted from the origin and its center below the real axis at high frequency

Due to the exponential growth of video data,aided by rapid advancements in multimedia technologies.It became difficult for the user to obtain information from a large video series.The process of providing an abstract of the entire video that includes the most representative frames is known as static video summarization.This method resulted in rapid exploration,indexing,and retrieval of massive video libraries.We propose a framework for static video summary based on a Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Keypoint(BRISK)and bisecting K-means clustering algorithm.The current method effectively recognizes relevant frames using BRISK by extracting keypoints and the descriptors from video sequences.The video frames’BRISK features are clustered using a bisecting K-means,and the keyframe is determined by selecting the frame that is most near the cluster center.Without applying any clustering parameters,the appropriate clusters number is determined using the silhouette coefficient.Experiments were carried out on a publicly available open video project(OVP)dataset that contained videos of different genres.The proposed method’s effectiveness is compared to existing methods using a variety of evaluation metrics,and the proposed method achieves a trade-off between computational cost and quality.

Objectives: The role of SYNTAX (SX) score in assessing the complexity of coronary artery disease (CAD) is well established. In this study we investigate the relationship between conventional risk factors of CAD with its complexity using SX score. Methods: The study consisted of 52 patients with CAD who were admitted to Cardiology Department—menoufia university Hospitals for elective coronary angiography. The overall SX score was calculated prospectively using the SX score algorithm. Then comparison was done between populations with and without each risk factor. Results: There was a statistically significant correlation between age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia and smoking with SX score results (p 0.05). In a multivariate regression analysis, including conventional risk factors of CAD as independent covariates, it revealed that aging, having diabetes mellitus and smoking were identified as significant independent risk factors for CAD complexity. Conclusion: Advanced age, having diabetes mellitus and cigarette smoking are considered to be independent risk factors for the complexity of CAD. Therefore, when these factors present, we expect that the SX score of the patient to be high indicating a complex CAD.

The efficient transmission of images,which plays a large role inwireless communication systems,poses a significant challenge in the growth of multimedia technology.High-quality images require well-tuned communication standards.The Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access(SC-FDMA)is adopted for broadband wireless communications,because of its low sensitivity to carrier frequency offsets and low Peak-to-Average Power Ratio(PAPR).Data transmission through open-channel networks requires much concentration on security,reliability,and integrity.The data need a space away fromunauthorized access,modification,or deletion.These requirements are to be fulfilled by digital image watermarking and encryption.This paper ismainly concerned with secure image communication over the wireless SC-FDMA systemas an adopted communication standard.It introduces a robust image communication framework over SC-FDMA that comprises digital image watermarking and encryption to improve image security,while maintaining a high-quality reconstruction of images at the receiver side.The proposed framework allows image watermarking based on the Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT)merged with the Singular Value Decomposition(SVD)in the so-called DCT-SVD watermarking.In addition,image encryption is implemented based on chaos and DNA encoding.The encrypted watermarked images are then transmitted through the wireless SC-FDMA system.The linearMinimumMean Square Error(MMSE)equalizer is investigated in this paper to mitigate the effect of channel fading and noise on the transmitted images.Two subcarrier mapping schemes,namely localized and interleaved schemes,are compared in this paper.The study depends on different channelmodels,namely PedestrianAandVehicularA,with a modulation technique namedQuadratureAmplitude Modulation(QAM).Extensive simulation experiments are conducted and introduced in this paper for efficient transmission of encrypted watermarked images.In addition,different variants of SC-FDMA based on the Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT),Discre

The ambient dose of radiation therapy and nuclear medicine units of Clinical Oncology Hospital, menoufia university were investigated using thermoluminescence dosimeter MTS-700 and surveymeter (Inspector Radiation Alert). The maximum% difference between read out of both MTS-700 (TLD) and surveymeter did not exceed 6% and 8% for the two hospital units respectively. Values of the annual ambient dose received in both hospital units were found to be incompliant with radiation protection regulations. In addition, the extremity effective dose Hp (0.07) of staff in nuclear medicine unit was measured using wrist and finger techniques. Results indicate in-homogenies distribution of fingertips doses. Radiation doses received by the wrists and fingertips of radiopharmaceutical staff preparing 99mTc syringe were observed to be higher by a factor of about 1.41 and 1.44 respectively than those for the administrating staff whom injecting patients by 99mTc syringe, but also still in congruent with international radiation protection regulations.

The different optical dispersion parameters of SrLaAIO4 single crystals have been studied by the transmission andreflection measurements at normal incidence for the three orientations 001, 100 and 101 in the spectral range400 nm^2500 nm.The optical absorption data revealed the existance of allowed indirect and direct transition. Therefractive index has abnormal behaviour in the spectral region 400~900 nm, but has a normal one in the higherwavelength region. The optical dispersion parameters, the single oscillator energy Eo and the dispersion energy Edwere determined and indicated the ionic structure of the material. The high-frequency dielectric constant, the latticedielectric constant and the electronic polarizability were determined by the free carriers and the lattice vibrationmodes. The real dielectric constant (?)1, the dielectric loss tangent (tanδ), the volume (VELF) and the surface energyloss function (SELF) have also been discussed.

Recently,nano-systems based on molecular communications via diffusion(MCvD)have been implemented in a variety of nanomedical applications,most notably in targeted drug delivery system(TDDS)scenarios.Furthermore,because the MCvD is unreliable and there exists molecular noise and inter symbol interference(ISI),cooperative nano-relays can acquire the reliability for drug delivery to targeted diseased cells,especially if the separation distance between the nano transmitter and nano receiver is increased.In this work,we propose an approach for optimizing the performance of the nano system using cooperative molecular communications with a nano relay scheme,while accounting for blood flow effects in terms of drift velocity.The fractions of the molecular drug that should be allocated to the nano transmitter and nano relay positioning are computed using a collaborative optimization problem solved by theModified Central Force Optimization(MCFO)algorithm.Unlike the previous work,the probability of bit error is expressed in a closed-form expression.It is used as an objective function to determine the optimal velocity of the drug molecules and the detection threshold at the nano receiver.The simulation results show that the probability of bit error can be dramatically reduced by optimizing the drift velocity,detection threshold,location of the nano-relay in the proposed nano system,and molecular drug budget.

A new fractional 6D chaotic model is constructed in this paper.The new fractional 6D chaotic model has six positive parameters plus the fractional order with eight nonlinear terms.The complicated chaotic dy-namics of the new fractional 6D model is presented and analyzed.The basic properties of this model are studied and its chaotic attractors,dissipative feature,symmetry,equilibrium points,Lyapunov Exponents are investigated.The new dynamics of the 6D fractional model is numerically simulated using Matlab software.In addition,utilizing the graph theory tools certain structural characteristics are calculated.An electrical circuit is built to implement the new 5.4 fractional order 6D model.Finally,an active fractional order controller is proposed to control the new model at different fractional orders.The chaos of the new model is very useful and can be used to produce random keys for data encryption.

Heart monitoring improves life quality.Electrocardiograms(ECGs or EKGs)detect heart irregularities.Machine learning algorithms can create a few ECG diagnosis processing methods.The first method uses raw ECG and time-series data.The second method classifies the ECG by patient experience.The third technique translates ECG impulses into Q waves,R waves and S waves(QRS)features using richer information.Because ECG signals vary naturally between humans and activities,we will combine the three feature selection methods to improve classification accuracy and diagnosis.Classifications using all three approaches have not been examined till now.Several researchers found that Machine Learning(ML)techniques can improve ECG classification.This study will compare popular machine learning techniques to evaluate ECG features.Four algorithms—Support Vector Machine(SVM),Decision Tree,Naive Bayes,and Neural Network—compare categorization results.SVM plus prior knowledge has the highest accuracy(99%)of the four ML methods.QRS characteristics failed to identify signals without chaos theory.With 99.8%classification accuracy,the Decision Tree technique outperformed all previous experiments.
