In 2014, the amount of RMB cross-border settlement had reached RMB7.6tn. It is important to evaluate the potential influence of RMB internationalization on China＇s macroeconomy. In the present study, a framework that includes monetary supply and demand was created to analyze the influences of RMB cross-border settlement on China＇s domestic interest rate, asset price and foreign exchange reserves. It is found that RMB settlement in different BOP items leads to very different effects on China＇s real economy and the financial market. Based on the analysis, we provide a framework of the policy priorities for RMB internationalization, with the RMB cross-border settlement items divided into three groups with different priorities. Meanwhile, to support RMB internationalization, exchange rate reforms should be adopted as a priority and a prudent attitude maintained regarding capital account liberalization.

In this paper, we present a framework to validate and to correct the location information in crash reports. The proposed system is composed of several modules: creation of intersection network and pre-processing, validation, snapping, updating, and *** proposed system utilizes GPS coordinates(latitude/longitude), primary and reference road names, primary direction, and distance to the reference road. The algorithm starts at an initial GPS coordinate provided in the crash report. Additional location information is utilized in case this coordinate does not satisfy certain criteria. After verification of the road names, the correct snapping location is determined using the primary direction and primary distance information. At the final stage, the attributes in the crash data are retrieved from the base map given the snapping point. We tested the proposed system by three different test data sets. The number of correctly identified matches and the average snapping error are calculated for assessment. The experiments show that the proposed framework is capable of geocoding the crashes up to 98% accuracy with the average of 37 feet of snapping error and 64% of the matching records have less than snapping error of 1 foot. However, we observed that considering highly specific cases as an outlier, the snapping error significantly drops. We discuss these cases in detail and propose a remedy as a future work.

We study the DeGroot model for continuous opinion dynamics under the influence of innovations. In the original model, individuals＇ opinions, after given their initial values, evolve merely according to the given learning topology. The main contribution of this paper is that external innovation effects are introduced： each individual is given the opportunity to change her opinion to a randomly selected opinion according to a given distribution on the opinion space and then the external opinion is either adapted by the individual, or combined into her learning process. It turns out that all the classical results of the DeGroot model are violated in this new model. We prove that convergence can still be guaranteed in the expectation sense, regardless of the learning topology. We also study the steady distributions of opinions among the society and the time spent to reach a steady state by means of Monte-Carlo simulations.

In this paper, a policy iteration-based Q-learning algorithm is proposed to solve infinite horizon linear nonzero-sum quadratic differential games with completely unknown dynamics. The Q-learning algorithm, which employs off-policy reinforcement learning(RL), can learn the Nash equilibrium and the corresponding value functions online, using the data sets generated by behavior policies. First, we prove equivalence between the proposed off-policy Q-learning algorithm and an offline PI algorithm by selecting specific initially admissible polices that can be learned online. Then, the convergence of the off-policy Qlearning algorithm is proved under a mild rank condition that can be easily met by injecting appropriate probing noises into behavior policies. The generated data sets can be repeatedly used during the learning process, which is computationally effective. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed Q-learning algorithm.

This study examines a multi-player pursuit-evasion game, more specifically, a three-player lifeline game in a planar environment, where a single evader is tasked with reaching a lifeline prior to capture. A decomposition method based on an explicit policy is proposed to address the game qualitatively from two main aspects:(1) the evader’s position distribution to guarantee winning the game(i.e., the escape zone),which is based on the premise of knowing the pursuers’ positions initially, and(2) evasion strategies in the escape zone. First, this study decomposes the three-player lifeline game into two two-player sub-games and obtains an analytic expression of the escape zone by constructing a barrier, which is an integration of the solutions of two sub-games. This study then explicitly partitions the escape zone into several regions and derives an evasion strategy for each region. In particular, this study provides a resultant force method for the evader to balance the active goal of reaching the lifeline and the passive goal of avoiding capture. Finally,some examples from a lifeline game involving more than one pursuer are used to verify the effectiveness and scalability of the evasion strategies.

Supporting group decision-making in ubiquitous contexts is a complex task that must deal with a large amount of factors to succeed. Here we propose an approach for an intelligent negotiation model to support the group decision-making process specifically designed for ubiquitous contexts. Our approach can be used by researchers that intend to include arguments, complex algorithms, and agents' modeling in a negotiation model. It uses a social networking logic due to the type of communication employed by the agents and it intends to support the ubiquitous group decision-making process in a similar way to the real process, which simultaneously preserves the amount and quality of intelligence generated in face-to-face meetings. We propose a new look into this problem by considering and defining strategies to deal with important points such as the type of attributes in the multicriterion problems, agents' reasoning, and intelligent dialogues.

Dear Editor,Liver cancer is the third leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide and accounted for 8.9%of all neoplasms,as shown by the Global Burden of Disease Study 2017[1].Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)comprises 75%-85%of liver cancers[2].The abysmal statistic is partly contributed by the fact that only 30%-40%of all patients are diagnosed at early stages that are amenable to potentially curative treatments[3].For over a decade,the availability of new agents,such as lenvatinib-and sorafenib-based targeted therapy,has significantly improved the outcome of patients with advanced HCC,prolonging the median overall survival(OS)from 4-8 months to 10-15 months[4,5].However,the therapeutic options for advanced HCC are still limited,and the prognosis is poor.

In the architecture of Iranian-lslamic mosques,besides the geographic directions affecting the climate,the direction of qibla also affects their *** the present study,based on the descriptive-analytical method and using the material flow pattern and the activity relationship chart,the pattern of the path of human movement from the entrance to the altar,as well as the degree of proximity of each space relative to other spaces in this movement path were *** describing and analyzing the qibla axis through the structural study on 12 samples of the traditional mosques of Yazd owing to the attention given by the people of this region to religious discussion and their efforts to focus on the axis qibla direction-the hierarchy of human movement was investigated with reference to the mosque being placed in the axis of the qibla direction considering the geometry,arrangement of forms,and interior *** in this area indicate that the architects and builders of mosques have considered the preservation of the divine orientation or the qibla,the path of human movement from his early arrival to his placement in the direction of the qibla axis,and the preservation of geometry as the valuable principles.
