Using Successive Multi-Goals Method in the Individual-Based Model to Simulate Crowd Behavior during Evacuation Processes

The fact of proportional population growth in many countries drags the attention of researchers in the field of crowd dynamics to the need for developing reliable models to predict the behavior of human crowds in emergency situations such as evacuation processes. Computer based models that simulate human crowd dynamics prove to offer the optimum way to predict the crowd realistic behavior especially in emergency situations. This paper presents a vital extension of my previous work in which an individual-based model to simulate the behavior of human crowd was developed using the artificial potential fields to describe the interaction forces between each crowd member and the environment on one side and amongst the crowd members on the other side to add realistic flavor to the predicted crowd behavior. In this paper, the successive multi-goals （SMG） method, which is a new method to represent the environment in which the crowd moves, is developed. Rather than using the traditional static potential field, the successive multi-goals method uses a dynamic potential field which is vital to solve the reactive problem that is considered as a drawback of the model when simulating the human crowd behavior during evacuation of buildings whose structures are complex such as bottlenecks and narrow corridors. Numerical results that match the real behavior of human individuals in emergency situations prove the efficiency of the new method to solve the problem on an individual basis as well as its applicability.

In this work, a hardware intrusion detection system （IDS） model and its implementation are introduced to perform online real-time traffic monitoring and analysis. The introduced system gathers some advantages of many IDSs： hardware based from implementation point of view, network based from system type point of view, and anomaly detection from detection approach point of view. In addition, it can detect most of network attacks, such as denial of services （DOS）, leakage, etc. from detection behavior point of view and can detect both internal and external intruders from intruder type point of view. Gathering these features in one IDS system gives lots of strengths and advantages of the work. The system is implemented by using field programmable gate array （FPGA）, giving a more advantages to the system. A C5.0 decision tree classifier is used as inference engine to the system and gives a high detection ratio of 99.93%.

Objectives: In this study molecular/genomic characteristics were done on new tissue biopsies taken from egyptian patients with refractory metastatic solid tumors aiming for two end points: To figure out a personalized treatment and to find the percent of discrepancy between the elaborated drugs of potential benefit and that stated in the guidelines. Methods: 22 eligible patients joined the study. (breast = 5, colon = 3, liver = 2, kidney = 2, ovary = 2, sarcoma = 2, metastasis of unknown origin = 2, Tongue = 1, Adrenal cancer = 1, gastric = 1 and lung cancer = 1). Biopsies were subjected to one or more of the following tests;Immunohistochemistry, Chromogenic/Fluorescence in situ Hybridization, Next Generation Sequencing, Sanger Sequencing. Results: Biomarkers and their corresponding drugs with associated potential benefits were detected as following;TUBB3, PGP and TLE3 (indicating potentiality of paclitaxel) in 22% of cases, TS (Antifolates) 18%, TOPO1 (Irinotecan) 14%, RRM1 (Gemcitabine) 13%, MGMT (Temozolomide) 7%, TOPO2 (Doxorubcin) 7%, ERCC1 (Platinum) 6%, BRAF (Vemurafenib) 2%, KRAS and NRAS (anti EGFR) 2%, C-KIT (TKIs potentiality) 1%, hormonal receptors in 5% of cases (Antihormonal potentiality), monoSPARK and polySPARK in 3% of cases indicating nabpaclitaxel potentiality. Potentiality of some drugs (Based on their corresponding biomarkers) was unexpectedly detected as following;Pemetrexed, irinotecan, dacarbazine and temozolomide in breast cancer patients, platinums and taxanes in liver, Taxanes, gemcitabine, fluoropyramidines, pemetrexed, dacarbazine and temozolomide in kidney cancer, Taxanes, gemcitabine, pemetrexed, dacarbazine and temozolomide in cancer colon, irinotecan in cancer tongue, Pemetrexed and irinotecan in adrenal gland cancer. The percentage of drugs of potential benefit that is not stated in the guidelines case by case was as following: Breast (12%, 15%, 23%, 31%, 21%), Colon (38.1%, 26.5%, 27%), Liver (33.5%, 25%), Kidney (15%, 29%), Ovary

A composite consisting of magnesium matrix reinforced with a network of TiC-Ti_(2)AlC-TiB_(2)particulates has been fabricated using a practical in-situ reactive infiltration *** microstructural and phase composition of the magnesium matrix composite(R-Mg)was investigated using SEM/EDS and *** analyses revealed the complete formation of TiC,Ti_(2)AlC and TiB_(2)particles in the magnesium *** compression tests of R-Mg and AZ91D alloy showed that the reinforcing particles improve the mechanical properties of Mg *** and potentiodynamic polarization results indicated that the reinforcing particles significantly improve the corrosion resistance of the reinforced alloy in 3.5%NaCl solution.

Objective:To assess effect of buffalo bull breed on the development and cryotolerence of the in vitro produced ***: Three types of frozen semen were adopted;egyptian, Italian and cross-bred (egyptian-Italian) breeds were used for in-vitro fertilization and vitrification of their embryos. Oocytes were collected from buffalo ovaries and maturedin vitrofor 24 h, then they were fertilized using the three semen breeds. The produced embryos of morula and blastocysts were vitrified using ethylene glycol and dimethyl sulfoxide then evaluated for their viability after ***: The cleavage and blastocysts rates significantly declined in oocytes fertilized by egyptian (P<0.01) than in Italian (P<0.05) and crossbred (P<0.05) frozen semen. After embryo vitrification, there were no significant differences among the three breeds in the percentages of morphologically viable embryos evaluated directly after warming and at 24 h post-culture. Conclusions:Thein vitro fertilization response to frozen-thawed semen varies between breeds;however, the resistance of produced embryos to the damage effect of vitrification does not vary.

In order to deal with unmodeled dynamics in large vehicle systems, which have an ill condition of the state matrix, the use of model order reduction methods is a good approach. This article presents a new construction of the sliding mode controller for singularly perturbed systems. The controller design is based on a linear diagonal transformation of the singularly perturbed model. Furthermore, the use of a single sliding mode controller designed for the slow component of the diagonalized system is investigated. Simulation results indicate the performance improvement of the proposed controllers.

As one of the most critical types of cancer,hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)affects many people *** study demonstrated the prospective use of atorvastatin,a drug that inhibits the mevalonate pathway,causing hypolipidemia,as a carrier to deliver the iodine-131(131I)isotope to liver tissues for HCC *** atorvastatin radioiodination method was optimized for utilizing the131I *** radiochemical quality and the in vitro stability of the generated[131I]atorvastatin were *** addition,the biodistribution experiments of[131I]atorvastatin were evaluated in both normal and HCC-induced rat models.[131I]atorvastatin was produced at a maximum radiochemical yield of 86.7±0.49%.The[131I]atorvastatin solution purified via high-performance liquid chromatography showed good in vitro stability for 12 h after *** analyses revealed remarkable liver targeting capacity of[131I]atorvastatin and good localization of131I in liver ***,the encouraging biochemical profile and histopathologicalfindings have been reported,and preliminary investigations on the possible use of[131I]atorvastatin as a radiotracer and its impact on HCC radiotherapy in rats show promise.

Ammonium perchlorate(AP)includes oxidizing and reducing elements on the same *** can act as an efficient oxidizer and mono-propellant as *** this study,AP experienced crystallographic phase change from orthorhombic centrosymmetric to non-centrosymmetric under controlled isothermal heat *** diffractograms confirmed this crystallographic phase *** thermal behaviour of activated AP had been investigated using *** AP demonstrated high chemical stability with an increase in endothermic phase transition enthalpy by 170%.The enthalpy of the subsequent two main exothermic decomposition reactions was increased by 250%.Whereas AP demonstrated total decomposition enthalpy of 733 J/g,activated AP showed 2614 J/*** AP can secure self-sustained response at a high *** index(combustion enthalpy/ignition temperature)was employed to assess self-sustained reaction *** AP demonstrated high propagation index of 8.7 compared with 2.5 for un-activated *** decomposition kinetic parameters had investigated using Kissinger and KAS *** AP showed an increase in activation energy by 89%using the Kissinger method;kinetic parameters using the KAS method were in good agreement with the Kissinger *** can have concluded that AP with novel kinetic decomposition parameters for enhanced safety storage and high combustion characteristics has evolved.

Background:Fingerprints are unique,persistent,and left on every object touched by bare *** can be used as a rapid and inexpensive method for *** study focuses on fingerprint white line counts(FWLCs)and its importance in sex *** and Objectives:This study aimed to clarify the potential ofFWLC in sex estimation among egyptian and Malaysian ethnic *** and Methods:The study was conducted on two hundred adult participants,one hundred egyptians and one hundred Malaysians(50 females and 50 males).Inked fingerprints of ten fingers were obtained from each participant then FWLC was extracted manually for each ***:The mean of females FWLC was significantly higher than males in all fingers in both *** of the left index was the most significant predictor of sex in egyptians,with an accuracy of 82%for males and 78%for *** more than seven in this digit was an absolute indication of being a *** most significant predictors of sex in the Malaysian population were the left index and right ring with an accuracy of 80%for males and 71.4%for females and FWLC above six and seven in these fingers,respectively,was an absolute indication of being a *** absence ofFWLC was more common in males than females in all ***:FWLC is a reliable predictor of sex among adult egyptian and Malaysian ethnic groups,and females tend to have more FWLC.
