This paper considers a closed-loop supply chain comprising one retailer and two suppliers.It assumes one supplier as the main supplier and another as the backup.The coordination issue of the supply chain has been discussed in this work.The main supplier’s yield is considered subject to disruption.The demand considered here is stochastic.We aim to calculate the supplier’s optimum production quantity.Similarly,the retailer’s optimal ordering quantity is found out.Additionally,in the centralized supply chain model,we want to maximize the expected profit under certain restriction.Numerical illustrations are discussed to the benefit some characteristic insights over the supply chain model.

k holomorphic functions are a type of generation of holomorphic functions. In this paper, a nonlinear boundary value problem for k holomorphic functions is primarily discussed on generalized polycylinders in C2. The existence of the solution for the problem is studied in detail with the help of the boundary properties of Cauchy type singular integral operators with a k holomorphic kernel. Furthermore, the integral representation for the solution is obtained.

A novel 6D dissipative model with an unstable equilibrium point is introduced herein.Some of the dynamic characteristics of the proposed model were explored via analyses and numerical simulations including critical points,stability,Lyapunov exponents,time phase portraits,and circuit implementation.Also,anti-synchronization phenomena were implemented on the new system.Firstly,the error dynamics is found.Then,four different controllers are adopted to stabilize this error relying on the nonlinear control technique with two main ways:linearization and Lyapunov stability theory.In comparison with previous works,the present controllers realize anti-synchronization based on another method/linearization method.Finally,a comparison between the two ways was made.The simulation results show the effectiveness and accuracy of the first analytical strategy.

In this study, we investigate the stochastic finite-time stability theory and finite-time stabilization of stochastic time-varying nonlinear systems with Markovian switching in the sense of weak solutions. First,we present the stochastic finite-time stability theory under the framework of weak solutions: the existence of weak solutions and stochastic finite-time stability theorems for stochastic time-varying nonlinear systems with Markovian switching. Second, for a class of high-order stochastic nonlinear systems with Markovian switching, a finite-time stabilization controller is constructively designed, and the trivial weak solution of a closed-loop system is proven to be globally finite-time stable in probability. The effectiveness of the proposed finite-time control method is illustrated by a numerical example.

It is prominent that conjugate gradient method is a high-efficient solution way for large-scale optimization problems.However,most of the conjugate gradient methods do not have sufficient descent property.In this paper,without any line search,the presented method can generate sufficient descent directions and trust region property.While use some suitable conditions,the global convergence of the method is established with Armijo line search.Moreover,we study the proposed method for solving nonsmooth problems and establish its global convergence.The experiments show that the presented method can be applied to solve smooth and nonsmooth unconstrained problems,image restoration problems and Muskingum model successfully.

In social network applications,individual opinion is often influenced by groups,and most decisions usually reflect the majority’s opinions.This imposes the group influence maximization(GIM) problem that selects k initial nodes,where each node belongs to multiple groups for a given social network and each group has a weight,to maximize the weight of the eventually activated groups.The GIM problem is apparently NP-hard,given the NP-hardness of the influence maximization(IM) problem that does not consider groups.Focusing on activating groups rather than individuals,this paper proposes the complementary maximum coverage(CMC) algorithm,which greedily and iteratively removes the node with the approximate least group influence until at most k nodes remain.Although the evaluation of the current group influence against each node is only approximate,it nevertheless ensures the success of activating an approximate maximum number of groups.Moreover,we also propose the improved reverse influence sampling(IRIS) algorithm through fine-tuning of the renowned reverse influence sampling algorithm for GIM.Finally,we carry out experiments to evaluate CMC and IRIS,demonstrating that they both outperform the baseline algorithms respective of their average number of activated groups under the independent cascade(IC)model.

The main purpose of this article is to study the lattice structure of quantum logics by using the theory of partially order sets. The goal is achieved by constructing a natural embedding map from the quantum logic posets into the complete lattices. The embedding map needs to be dense(in the order sense) and such complete lattices are so called extended logics which preserve all essential features of the quantum logic. We obtain that the extended logic is unique up to a lattice isomorphism.

In this paper,we study the pressure of C^(1)-smooth partially hyperbolic diffeomorphisms with sup-additive potentials.We give several definitions of the so called unstable(measure theoretic)pressure in terms of Bowen’s picture and the capacity picture.We show that all such unstable metric pressures of a given ergodic measure equals the corresponding unstable measure theoretic entropy plus the Lyapunov exponent of the potentials with respect to the ergodic measure.

The book-embedding problem arises in several area,such as very large scale integration(VLSI)design and routing multilayer printed circuit boards(PCBs).It can be used into various practical application fields.A book embedding of a graph G is an embedding of its vertices along the spine of a book,and an embedding of its edges to the pages such that edges embedded on the same page do not intersect.The minimum number of pages in which a graph G can be embedded is called the pagenumber or book-thickness of the graph G.It is an important measure of the quality for book-embedding.It is NP-hard to research the pagenumber of book-embedding for a graph G.This paper summarizes the studies on the book-embedding of planar graphs in recent years.
