Neuronal regulated cell death in aging-related neurodegenerative diseases:key pathways and therapeutic potentials

Regulated cell death(such as apoptosis,necroptosis,pyroptosis,autophagy,cuproptosis,ferroptosis,disulfidptosis)involves complex signaling pathways and molecular effectors,and has been proven to be an important regulatory mechanism for regulating neuronal aging and ***,excessive activation of regulated cell death may lead to the progression of aging-related *** review summarizes recent advances in the understanding of seven forms of regulated cell death in age-related ***,the newly identified ferroptosis and cuproptosis have been implicated in the risk of cognitive impairment and neurodegenerative *** forms of cell death exacerbate disease progression by promoting inflammation,oxidative stress,and pathological protein *** review also provides an overview of key signaling pathways and crosstalk mechanisms among these regulated cell death forms,with a focus on ferroptosis,cuproptosis,and *** instance,FDX1 directly induces cuproptosis by regulating copper ion valency and dihydrolipoamide S-acetyltransferase aggregation,while copper mediates glutathione peroxidase 4 degradation,enhancing ferroptosis ***,inhibiting the Xc-transport system to prevent ferroptosis can increase disulfide formation and shift the NADP^(+)/NADPH ratio,transitioning ferroptosis to *** insights help to uncover the potential connections among these novel regulated cell death forms and differentiate them from traditional regulated cell death *** conclusion,identifying key targets and their crosstalk points among various regulated cell death pathways may aid in developing specific biomarkers to reverse the aging clock and treat age-related neurodegenerative conditions.

Deciphering the role of ultra-low-loaded rhodium in NiFe-MIL-53 for superior oxygen evolution reaction

Designing highly active and stable electrocatalysts of oxygen evolution reaction （OER） is one of the crucial *** this study,a novel OER electrocatalyst,NiFe-MIL-53 modified with ultra-low rhodium（Rh@NiFe-MIL-53）,is successfully prepared via the hydrothermal ***-situ Raman spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy reveal that the doped Rh accelerates the phase transformation of NiFe-MIL-53 and the in-situ formed Rh@NiFeOOH is the actual active *** importantly,the enhanced reversibility of electrochemical reconstruction between NiFeOOH and NiFe（OH）2after doping Rh is beneficial for improving the electrochemical stability of the catalyst.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectra show the strong electronic interaction between single-atom Rh and Ni/Fe in Rh@***,theoretical calculations confirm that the integration of single-atom Rh into the NiFeOOH successfully reduces the band gap,regulates the d-band center （εd）,accelerates the charge transfer,and optimizes the adsorption behavior of oxygen-containing intermediates,thereby lowering the energy barrier of rate-determining ***,the optimized Rh@NiFe-MIL-53 exhibits excellent OER activity （240 mV） with a small Tafel slope of 48.2 mV dec-1and long-term durability (over1270 h at 10 m A cm-2and 110 h at 200 mA cm-2).This work presents a new perspective on designing highly efficient OER electrocatalysts.

Microstructure and Wear/corrosion Resistance of Stainless Steel Laser-alloyed with Mn+W_(2)C, Mn+NiWC and Mn+SiC

In-situ formed high Mn steel coating reinforced by carbides was formed by laser surface alloying(LSA).Laser alloyed layers on 1Cr18Ni9Ti steel with Mn+W_(2)C(specimen A),Mn+NiWC(specimen B)and Mn+SiC(specimen C)powders were fabricated to improve the wear and corrosion behavior of 1Cr18Ni9Ti steel blades in high speed *** evolution,phases,element distribution,microhardness,wear and corrosion behavior of the laser alloyed layers were *** indicated that high Mn steel matrix composites with undissolved W_(2)C,WC and other in-situ formed carbides were formed by LSA with Mn+W_(2)C and Mn+NiWC while SiC totally dissolved into the high Mn matrix when adding Mn+*** as the binding phase in Ni-WC powder decreased the crack sensitivity of the alloyed layer as compared with the addition of W_(2)C *** improvement in average microhardness was achieved in the matrix in specimen A,B and C,with the value of 615,602 and 277 HV_(0.5),while that of the substrate was 212 HV_(0.5).The increase of microhardness,wear and corrosion resistance is highly corelated to microstructure,formed phases,type and content of carbides,micro-hardness and toughness of the alloyed layers.

Efficient fixation of CO_(2) to cyclic carbonates and oxazolidinones with multi-hydroxyl bis-(quaternary ammonium) ionic liquids as catalysts under mild conditions

A series of multi-hydroxyl bis-(quaternary ammonium)ionic liquids(Ils1‒7)was prepared as bifunctional catalysts for the chemical fixation of CO_(2).All these ionic liquid compounds were efficient for the catalytic synthesis of cyclic carbonates and oxazolidinones via the cycloaddition reactions between CO_(2) and epoxides or aziridines with excellent yield and high selectivity in the absence of co-catalyst,metal and *** to the synergistic effects of hydroxyl groups and halogen anion,the cycloaddition reactions proceeded smoothly either at atmospheric pressure or room *** selectivity for substituted oxazolidinones at 5-and 4-positions can be tuned via changing the reaction ***,possible mechanisms including the activation of both CO_(2) and epoxide or aziridines were proposed based on the literatures and experimental results.

Multi-model ensemble learning for battery state-of-health estimation:Recent advances and perspectives

The burgeoning market for lithium-ion batteries has stimulated a growing need for more reliable battery performance monitoring. Accurate state-of-health(SOH) estimation is critical for ensuring battery operational performance. Despite numerous data-driven methods reported in existing research for battery SOH estimation, these methods often exhibit inconsistent performance across different application scenarios. To address this issue and overcome the performance limitations of individual data-driven models,integrating multiple models for SOH estimation has received considerable attention. Ensemble learning(EL) typically leverages the strengths of multiple base models to achieve more robust and accurate outputs. However, the lack of a clear review of current research hinders the further development of ensemble methods in SOH estimation. Therefore, this paper comprehensively reviews multi-model ensemble learning methods for battery SOH estimation. First, existing ensemble methods are systematically categorized into 6 classes based on their combination strategies. Different realizations and underlying connections are meticulously analyzed for each category of EL methods, highlighting distinctions, innovations, and typical applications. Subsequently, these ensemble methods are comprehensively compared in terms of base models, combination strategies, and publication trends. Evaluations across 6 dimensions underscore the outstanding performance of stacking-based ensemble methods. Following this, these ensemble methods are further inspected from the perspectives of weighted ensemble and diversity, aiming to inspire potential approaches for enhancing ensemble performance. Moreover, addressing challenges such as base model selection, measuring model robustness and uncertainty, and interpretability of ensemble models in practical applications is emphasized. Circularly polarized luminescence （CPL） materials have been extensively studied in recent years owing to their widespread applications in 3D display,optical storage,optical anti-counterfeiting,and biological imaging,***（I） clusters have emerged as a promising candidate for CPL materials,driven by their cost-effectiveness,superior luminescent properties,precise structure,and low ***,the poor environmental stability of copper（I） clusters renders their synthesis and preservation challenging,thereby significantly impeding their ***,we have designed and synthesised a chiral double-coordinated ligand in order to construct copper（I） cluster nodes that can be further *** anticipated,by utilizing stepwise assembly strategy,a Cu4cluster node co-modified by chiral alkynyl ligands and triphenylphosphine was further assembled with Cd2+ions to obtain 2D layers structure,L/*** L/D-Cu4-Cd exhibits excellent stability and optical properties,including bright yellow emission,solvent-responsive luminescence,and CPL activity with a maximum glumup to 2.0×10-3,which shows potential applications in the WLED and *** interestingly,the material also exhibits deflection ability towards different wavelengths of linearly polarized light,showing certain potential in the preparation of circular polarizer.

Studies on Microstructure of the Used Insulating Board for Tundish

This essay analyses three different kinds of insulating boards for used tundish by OM,EDAX and XRD,aiming at disclosing its mi-crostuructue,and tryin to find out its wear mechanism. The SiO2 insulating board has the trans-formation from quartz to α-cristoballite to some *** forms a large quantity of glass phases while reacting with slags,which belongs to corrosion *** MgO insulating board belongs to both spaling and corrosion wear,for it forms MA,C3MS2, and melilite minerals while reacting with slags,When M2S board reacts with slags,[Fe] of the unchanged 2[Mg,Fe]O·SiO2s.s will be replaced by [Mn] of the slag phases to form 2[Mg,Mn,Fe]O·SiO2.s,leaching Fe ,Which belongs to both spalling and corrosion wear,This essay also makes fur-ther discussion about the three diferent refrac-tory effects on steel quality.
