Electromagnetic stirring is one of the widely applied techniques to modify the quality of casting *** from co.ventional rotate stirring,the helical stirring is more professional in assisting multi-dimensional flow of molten metal and eliminating solidification *** this study,the single-winding helical stirring(SWHS)was introduced,offering advantages such as smaller volume and lower electromagnetic shielding co.pared to traditional helical stirring *** a co.prehensive numerical simulation,the stirring parameters of SWHS were adjusted to yoke inclination angle of 43°and frequency of 12 *** higher electromagnetic force and flow velocity in drawing direction,as well as the lower temperature gradient induced by the SWHS,are positive factors for homogeneous solidification of *** experimental results on Al-8%Si alloy and 0.4%C-1.1%Mn steel demonstrate that co.pared to rotate stirring,the SWHS process can induce better billet quality and is more effective in accelerating the equiaxed expansion and reducing element *** SWHS process can enhance the equiaxed ratio of the billet by 58.3%and reduce segregation degree of carbon element by 10.97%.co.sequently,SWHS holds great promise as a potential approach for improving the quality of co.tinuous casting billets.

Literature Review of Driving Fatigue research based on Bibliometric Analysis

Driving for a long time can lead to fatigue， which can affect information processing and decision-making， potentially threatening driving safety. By exploring the generation and variation patterns of driving fatigue and clarifying the application status of its detection and warning technology， traffic safety can be improved. In order to understand the research progress of driving fatigue， based on the Web of Science co.e database， this paper obtained 2127 English literature published from 1998 to 2023 (as of May 12， 2023)， co.ering a total of 5963 authors and 6019 keywords， and the bibliometric tool VOSviewer and R-Bibliometrix are used to analyze the literatures. Firstly， the literature statistical analysis is carried out from annual distribution， co.ntry distribution， source journals， and co.e authors. Seco.dly， the research hotspots and trends are analyzed from keywords co.occurrence， high-impact literature， theme evolution， and development trends. Finally， the development trend of driving fatigue research is discussed. The result shows that the hotspots in the field of driving fatigue include driving fatigue detection， fatigue driving risk and fatigue research of professional drivers， driver alertness and co.ing strategies for driver fatigue， and driver fatigue under automatic driving. And the improvement of the accuracy and reliability of driving fatigue detection will be the difficult point to break through in the future. It is necessary to build a multi-disciplinary and meticulously quantified driving fatigue and its risk assessment system， and strengthen the co.trol of fatigue risks. research on intervention measures and education training for professional drivers needs to be deepened， while exploring the acceptance and co.pliance of intervention measures. Moreover， the evolution law and prevention strategies of driver fatigue under automatic co.ditions should be the focus of future research.

Natural mechanical materials,such as bamboo and bone,often exhibit superior specific mechanical properties due to their hierarchical porous *** the principle of hierarchy as inspiration can facilitate the development of hierarchical mechanical metamaterials(HMMs)across multiple length scales via 3D *** this work,we propose self-similar HMMs that co.bine octet-truss(OCT)architecture as the first and seco.d orders,with cubic architecture as the third or more *** HMMs were fabricated using stereolithography 3D printing,with the length sizes ranging from approximately 200µm to the centimeter *** co.pressive stress–strain behaviors of HMMs exhibit a zigzag characteristic,and the toughness and energy absorption can be significantly enhanced by the hierarchical *** co.pressive moduli are co.parable to that of natural materials,and the strengths are superior to that of most polymer/metal foams,alumina hollow/carbon lattices,and other natural ***,the flexural stress–strain curves exhibit a nonlinear behavior,which can be attributed to the hierarchical architecture and local damage *** relatively high mechanical properties can be attributed to the synergistic effect of the stretch-dominated OCT architecture and the bending-dominated cube ***,an ultralight HMM-integrated unmanned aerial vehicle(HMM-UAV)was successfully designed and *** HMM-UAV is~85%lighter than its bulk co.nterpart,remarkably extending the flight duration time(~53%).This work not only provides an effective design strategy for HMMs but also further expands the application benchmark of HMMs.

Although co.l fly ash(CFA)co.tains a high co.tent of rare earth elements(REEs),the related extraction methods have limitations because of their low efficiencies,high levels of energy co.sumption,and other *** address these problems,in this study,we examined the co.xtraction of REEs and Al_(2)O_(3)from two types of Al_(2)O_(3)-rich CFA,pulverized CFA(PCFA)and circulating fluidized bed fly ash(CFBFA)using low-temperature calcination in the presence of K_(2)S_(2)O_(7).The total REEs,heavy REEs(HREEs),and light REEs(LREEs)extraction efficiencies were determined using different K_(2)S_(2)O_(7)/Al_(2)O_(3) molar ratios and calcination temperatures and co.related with the Al_(2)O_(3) extraction efficiency using Pearson co.relation co.fficient *** REEs are co.centrated within CFA particles encapsulated in an aluminosilicate glass phase,and the REEs extraction efficiency is related to the form of Al in *** extraction efficiencies of Al_(2)O_(3) and REEs increase as the K_(2)S_(2)O_(7)/Al_(2)O_(3) molar ratio and calcination temperature increase,and the extraction selectivity of the more industrially valuable HREEs from CFBFA is *** high K_(2)S_(2)O_(7)/Al_(2)O_(3) molar ratios,the extraction of REEs from PCFA is more efficient than that from CFBFA with the regeneration of the highly active Al-O-Si bonds in *** Al_(2)O_(3) extraction efficiencies of PCFA as well as CFBFA co.relate strongly with the total REEs,HREEs,and LREEs extraction *** developed extraction technology has the potential to promote CFA valorization and expand REEs resources,thus mitigating the bottlenecks of REEs procurement.

Swelling Behavior and Mechanism of SBS in High Visco.lastic-modified Bitumen Using Fluorescence Analysis

HVE-MB co.tains a variety of modifiers， with SBS being the primary one， and its swelling state has a significant impact on the visco.lastic properties of bitumen. Based on fluorescence microsco.y technology， the phase distribution and swelling state of SBS in HVE-MB under different shear times were studied， and the swelling behavior of SBS in HVE-MB was quantitatively characterized. The results can be used to reveal the swelling mechanism of the SBS modifier in HVE-MB. In addition， the physical properties， rheological properties， and visco.lasticity of HVE-MB were investigated with the physical test， rheological test， dynamic visco.ity， and elastic reco.ery tests. The results show that shear time had a significant impact on the physical properties of HVE-MB， and the rheological properties exhibited a similar change trend. The swollen and developed SBS particles in HVE-MB were quantitatively characterized， indicating a 96% reduction in the number of SBS modifier particles. The ratio of SBS modifier particles to the axial length increased by 16%with particle size is increased from 4 ～ 7um to 8 ～ 22um. The shape of the particles transitioned from circular to elliptical and elongated forms. The area ratio of the SBS particles to bitumen increased by 14.9%， and the average area of SBS particles grew by 1948%. these changes co.tributes to a 277% increase in the dynamic visco.ity of the bitumen. These changes occur because， at the microsco.ic level， polymers like SBS absorb light co.ponents from the bitumen after blending， causing the polymers to swell and form a two-phase structure where the swollen polymer phase co.xists with the bitumen phase. The results can be used to optimize the heating temperature and shearing time for the industrial production of HVE-MB， providing reference and theoretical support for understanding the modification mechanism and performance regulation of HVE-MB.

On-ramp co.trol is an effective approach for alleviating traffic co.gestion on ***,there is still a lack of on-ramp co.trol approaches applicable to large regional highway ***,we develop a targeted on-ramp co.trol approach applicable to regional highway networks by taking advantage of the vehicle source information,which pinpoints the on-ramps co.tributing major traffic flow to the highway ***,a co.bined and tunable co.trolling index is proposed to enhance the equity of the generated traffic co.trol *** proposed on-ramp co.trol approach is validated on an actual large highway network using actual travel demand *** indicate that the proposed approach can well mitigate the traffic co.gestion of highway bottleneck while at the same time enhancing the equity and practicability of the generated traffic co.trol scheme.

The high-temperature oxidation behavior of novel co.Cr-Nb-W carbide-strengthened wear-resistance alloys with different Al co.tents（1wt%, 2wt% and 3wt%）at 950, 1000 and 1050 °C was thoroughly investigated by scanning electron microsco.y, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectrosco.y and field emission electron probe analyzer. The porous property of Nb C in-situ oxidation products（Nb2O5, co.Nb2O6and co.Nb2O9） induces a multi-layered oxide scale with micropores and ***-Cr-Nb-W alloy with 1 wt% Al undergoes catastrophic oxidation and spalling above 1000 °C. The outward transportation of Cr and co.is effectively restrained by a co.tinuous Al2O3scale formed around Nb C in-situ oxidation region when Al co.tent reaches 3 wt%. The β-co.Al in co.Cr-Nb-W alloy with 3 wt% Al has an oxidation priority over eutectic carbides and the alloy matrix which are both enriched with Cr, thereby preventing the formation of Cr-depletion area and improving the self-healing ability of the oxide film. A slight change in Al co.tent has a remarkable influence on the co.perative effect of Al and Cr and multiplies the antioxidant capacity of co.Cr-Nb-W alloy above 1000 °C.

Ni-rich layered oxide cathodes have shown promise for high-energy lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)but are usually limited to mild environments because of their rapid performance degradation under extreme temperature co.ditions(below0°C and above 50 °C).Here,we report the design of F/Mo co.doped LiNi_(0.8)co.(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(FMNCM)cathode for high-performance LIBs from-20 to 60°C.F^(-) doping with high electronegativity into the cathode surface is found to enhance the stability of surface lattice structure and protect the interface from side reactions with the electrolyte by generating a LiF-rich surface ***,the Mo^(6+) doping suppresses phase transition,which blocks Li^(+)/Ni^(2+) mixing,and stabilizes lithium-ion diffusion ***,the FMNCM cathode demonstrates excellent cycling stability at a high cutoff voltage of 4.4 V,even at 60°C,maintaining 90.6%capacity retention at 3 C after 150 ***,at temperatures as low as-20°C,it retains 77.1%of its room temperature capacity,achieving an impressive 97.5%capacity retention after 500 *** stable operation under wide temperatures has been further validated in practical Ah-level *** study sheds light on both fundamental mechanisms and practical implications for the design of advanced cathode materials for wide-temperature LIBs,presenting a promising path towards high-energy and long-cycling LIBs with temperatureadaptability.

Ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene(ECTFE)co.ting was applied to the surface of carbon steel through electrostatic spraying and low-temperature heat *** morphology and structure of the co.ting were analyzed using various characterization *** electrochemical data of the co.ted steel soaked in 3.5%(mass fraction)NaCl solution for 90 d at different periods were also *** findings indicate that the outer surface of the co.ting remains structurally stable before and after soaking.F can diffuse into the steel substrate,facilitating the bonding between the co.ting and the steel substrate,but the free F also induces a weakening effect on the crystalline *** to the thickness of the co.ting edge and the susceptibility to infiltration of the co.rosive medium,under-film micro-zone co.rosion occurs at a slow *** soaking for 90 d,the impedance modulus measures approximately 10^(4)Ω·cm^(2),and the open circuit potential(OCP)is−0.61 *** self-co.rosion current density is 1.13×10^(−6)A/cm^(2),resulting in a calculated co.ting protection rate of 99.29%.In summary,despite edge co.rosion occurring,the ECTFE co.ting provides excellent co.rosion protection.
