Synergistic extraction of rare earth elements and alumina from co.l fly ash by potassium pyrosulfate

Although co.l fly ash(CFA)co.tains a high co.tent of rare earth elements(REEs),the related extraction methods have limitations because of their low efficiencies,high levels of energy co.sumption,and other *** address these problems,in this study,we examined the co.xtraction of REEs and Al_(2)O_(3)from two types of Al_(2)O_(3)-rich CFA,pulverized CFA(PCFA)and circulating fluidized bed fly ash(CFBFA)using low-temperature calcination in the presence of K_(2)S_(2)O_(7).The total REEs,heavy REEs(HREEs),and light REEs(LREEs)extraction efficiencies were determined using different K_(2)S_(2)O_(7)/Al_(2)O_(3) molar ratios and calcination temperatures and co.related with the Al_(2)O_(3) extraction efficiency using Pearson co.relation co.fficient *** REEs are co.centrated within CFA particles encapsulated in an aluminosilicate glass phase,and the REEs extraction efficiency is related to the form of Al in *** extraction efficiencies of Al_(2)O_(3) and REEs increase as the K_(2)S_(2)O_(7)/Al_(2)O_(3) molar ratio and calcination temperature increase,and the extraction selectivity of the more industrially valuable HREEs from CFBFA is *** high K_(2)S_(2)O_(7)/Al_(2)O_(3) molar ratios,the extraction of REEs from PCFA is more efficient than that from CFBFA with the regeneration of the highly active Al-O-Si bonds in *** Al_(2)O_(3) extraction efficiencies of PCFA as well as CFBFA co.relate strongly with the total REEs,HREEs,and LREEs extraction *** developed extraction technology has the potential to promote CFA valorization and expand REEs resources,thus mitigating the bottlenecks of REEs procurement.

Three-dimensional stability calculation method for high and large co.posite slopes formed by mining stope and inner dump in adjacent open pits

The 2D limit equilibrium method is widely used for slope stability ***,with the advancement of dump engineering,co.posite slopes often exhibit significant 3D mechanical ***,it is of significant importance to develop an effective 3D stability calculation method for co.posite slopes to enhance the design and stability co.trol of open-pit slope *** the co.posite slope formed by the mining stope and inner dump in Baiyinhua No.1 and No.2 open-pit co.l mine as a case study,this research investigates the failure mode of co.posite slopes and establishes spatial shape equations for the sliding *** integrating the shear resistance and sliding force of each row of microstrip co.umns onto the bottom surface of the strip co.responding to the main sliding surface,a novel 2D equivalent physical and mechanical parameters analysis method for the strips on the main sliding surface of 3D sliding masses is ***,a co.prehensive 3D stability calculation method for co.posite slopes is developed,and the quantitative relationship between the co.rdinated development distance and its 3D stability co.fficients is *** analysis reveals that the failure mode of the co.posite slope is characterized by cutting-bedding sliding,with the arc serving as the side interface and the weak layer as the bottom interface,while the destabilization mechanism primarily involves shear *** spatial form equation of the sliding mass co.prises an ellipsoid and weak plane *** analysis revealed that when the co.rdinated development distance is 1500 m,the error rate between the 3D stability calculation result and the 2D stability calculation result of the co.posite slope is less than 8%,thereby verifying the proposed analytical method of equivalent physical and mechanical parameters and the 3D stability calculation method for co.posite ***,the3D stability co.fficient of the co.posite slope exhibits an exponential co

Multi-physical fields distribution in billet during helical electromagnetic stirring:A numerical simulation research

Electromagnetic stirring is one of the widely applied techniques to modify the quality of casting *** from co.ventional rotate stirring,the helical stirring is more professional in assisting multi-dimensional flow of molten metal and eliminating solidification *** this study,the single-winding helical stirring(SWHS)was introduced,offering advantages such as smaller volume and lower electromagnetic shielding co.pared to traditional helical stirring *** a co.prehensive numerical simulation,the stirring parameters of SWHS were adjusted to yoke inclination angle of 43°and frequency of 12 *** higher electromagnetic force and flow velocity in drawing direction,as well as the lower temperature gradient induced by the SWHS,are positive factors for homogeneous solidification of *** experimental results on Al-8%Si alloy and 0.4%C-1.1%Mn steel demonstrate that co.pared to rotate stirring,the SWHS process can induce better billet quality and is more effective in accelerating the equiaxed expansion and reducing element *** SWHS process can enhance the equiaxed ratio of the billet by 58.3%and reduce segregation degree of carbon element by 10.97%.co.sequently,SWHS holds great promise as a potential approach for improving the quality of co.tinuous casting billets.

The Ti/Al/Ti clad plates exhibit a broad spectrum of potential ***,the co.ventional techniques of hot-pressing co.posite and explosive co.posite are intricate and environmentally hazardous.A novel method was introduced for preparing clad plates,namely,the powder-in-tube *** method involves a co.bination of co.d rolling,annealing at a temperature of 550℃,and double *** morphology of the intermetallic co.pound layer was analyzed through the utilization of interface stripping test,tensile test,and microsco.ic *** interface morphology,interface bonding properties,tensile fracture structures,and properties of plates under the first and seco.d rolling were co.pared,along with the effects of intermetallic co.pounds on the interface *** results indicate that the powder-in-tube method,when annealed at 550℃,can produce a co.posite plate featuring a co.plete and uniform Ti/Al *** obtained plate exhibits a peeling strength of 21.5 N/mm,tensile strength of 424 MPa,and elongation of 11.5%.Furthermore,a systematic analysis was co.ducted to determine the causes of performance degra-dation observed during annealing at temperatures of 600 and 650℃.

Simulation and analysis of soil homogenization drills based on discrete element method and response surface methodology

Currently,rotary drilling is one of the main pieces of equipment used for in-situ remediation of co.taminated ***,this equipment has problems such as uneven mixing and low utilization efficiency,which affect the efficiency of in-situ soil *** improve the efficiency of in-situ soil remediation,this paper takes co.taminated black soil as the research object,and the structural design of the new three-stage soil remediation auger is carried out based on *** mixing process of soil and heavy metal passivator under different motion and structural parameters was investigated by the discrete element method(DEM)and response surface *** experimental design was based on rotational speed,homogenizing mixing time,crushing section pitch,and homogenizing section pitch as factors,and soil fragmentation ratio,the co.fficient of dispersion,and torque as optimization *** kinematic and structural parameters of the three-stage auger drill bit were then optimized using the one-factor method,the orthogonal test,and the response surface methodology,*** test method uses a one-way test to determine the central level value of the orthogonal test and a co.prehensive balance method to determine the best co.bination of parameters for the orthogonal test,which is then used as the central value of the response surface test for parameter *** optimal co.binations of kinematic and structural parameters of the three-stage auger drill bit are determined and validated using response surface *** optimum co.bination of parameters was found to be a speed of 129 rpm,a homogenizing mixing time of 24 s,a pitch of 165 mm in the crushing section,and a pitch of 132 mm in the homogenizing *** error between the optimal value of the predicted model using the response surface method and the actual simulated value under the optimal parameters is 4.2%,4.9%,and 5.3%,*** optimized factor parameters provide a refe

Study on the influence of mechanism dispersion on transient reco.ery voltage distribution of modular DC vacuum circuit breakers

A simulation analysis and an experiment are carried out to investigate how the gap difference between the breaks of a direct current vacuum circuit breakers with multi-breaks(MB-DC VCB)caused by the mechanism dispersion of the breaker influences the distribution of TRV among the *** interruption model of MB-DC VCB,co.bining the co.tinuous transition model,is established to analyse the rising rate of transient reco.ery voltage and the dielectric strength reco.ery speed of the breaks for MB-DC VCB under different gap difference *** on the experimental platform of dual break DC vacuum circuit breaker breaking,the co.rectness of the simulation model is verified on a DC VCB with the double-breaks interruption experimental ***,a model is applied to the non-synchronous interruption simulation of a DC VCB with *** relationship between the TRVs of the breaks under different gap difference co.ditions is analysed using the co.parative analysis method,obtaining the maximum gap difference at the moment of breaking *** results of this study show that large-gap breaks have a higher TRV than small-gap breaks(the fracture of the action delay module),with double fractures reaching 1.4 times and triple fractures reaching a maximum of 1.52 times;the ability of small-gap breaks to withstand TRV is weak,giving rise to re-breakdown or even interruption failure;as the number of fractures increases,the maximum gap difference also *** the synchronous interruption ability of the MB-DC VCB is co.ducive to improving the interruption performance and interruption success rate of this type of a circuit breaker.

The transmission line tower will be affected by bad weather and artificial subsidence caused by the foundation and other factors in the power *** tower’s tilt and severe deformation will cause the building to *** small changes caused the tower’s co.lapse,but the early staff often co.ld not intuitively notice the changes in the tower’s *** the current tower online monitoring system,terminal equipment often needs to replace batteries frequently due to premature exhaustion of *** to the need for real-time measurement of power line tower,this research designed a real-time monitoring device monitoring the transmission tower attitude tilting and foundation state based on the inertial sensor,the acceleration of 3 axis inertial sensor and angular velocity raw data to pole average filtering pre-processing,and then through the co.plementary filtering algorithm for co.prehensive calculation of tilt angle,the system meets the demand for inclined online monitoring of power line poles and towers regarding measurement accuracy,with low co.t and power *** optimization multi-sensor co.perative detection and co.rection measured tilt angle result relative accuracy can reach 1.03%,which has specific promotion and application value since the system has the advantages of unattended and efficient calculation.

Evaluation of the injection and plugging ability of a novel epoxy resin in cement cracks

Magnesium-co.taining pellet regulating blast furnace ferrous burden interaction:softening-melting behavior and mechanism

MgO participates in all stages of sintering,pelletizing,and blast furnace ironmaking,and synergistically optimizing the distribution of MgO in ferrous burden can effectively enhance the interaction within the ferrous burdens and optimize the softening-melting properties of the mixed ***-co.taining pellets mixed with low-MgO sinter or mixed with high-MgO sinter in the blast furnace ferrous burden structure have opposite softening-melting performance *** the structure of the ferrous burden is magnesium-co.taining pellets mixed with low-MgO sinter,the magnesium-co.taining pellets can enhance the interaction of the ferrous burden in the process of softening-melting,which can optimize the co.position of the slag phase and improve the slag *** the structure of the ferrous burden is magnesium-co.taining pellets mixed with high-MgO sinter,the magnesium-co.taining pellets weaken the interaction of the ferrous burden in the process of softening-melting,increase the co.tent of the high melting point solid-phase particles in the slag,lead to an increase in the visco.ity of the slag and difficult separation of the slag and iron,and decrease the permeability of the charge ***,to ensure good permeability of the mixed burden,the following measures are suggested:optimizing the MgO distribution of the ferrous burden,reducing the MgO co.tent of the sinter to 1.96 wt.%,increasing the MgO co.tent of the pellets to 1.03-1.30 wt.%,co.trolling the MgO/Al_(2)O_(3) ratio of the mixed burden within 1.15-1.32,narrowing the position of the co.esive zone,and maintaining an S value(permeability index)of approximately 150 kPa℃.
