After nearly 20 years of construction,we have successfully solved a series of hydrologic sedimentaryand environment problems encountered during the construction of the big deep water harbour inlianyungang which can now accommodate ships of 50000 *** the economic development,the channel of 50000 tonnage will be built soon, and of 100000 tonnage is under planning. Theconstruction of the international container shipping hub at the harbour is being accelerated in anticipationof the opening of the second Eurasian land *** future development of the harbour will givegreat impetus to the local economy of lianyungang City and make it an international city.

Based on the meteorological observation data of three meteorological stations in three major chemical industrial parks of lianyungang city( Xuwei petrochemical industrial park-Xuwei saltern automatic weather station,Yanweigang chemical industrial park-Yanweigang automatic weather station,and lianyungang chemical industrial park-Duigou chemical industrial park automatic weather station) as well as lightning data of Jiangsu thunder and lightning monitoring network from 2007 to 2014,meteorological environmental factors(wind,temperature and lightning) in the three major chemical industrial park of lianyungang City were analyzed,and climate feasibility demonstration was conducted. In this paper,the common points of the meteorological environment of construction projects in the three major chemical industry parks were obtained,and the planning,design and operation of chemical projects were advanced reasonably according to different meteorological environment,thereby maximizing social and economic benefits.

It is apparent that there is a difference between mud coasts and sand coasts in such aspects as sediment components, hydrodynamics of nearshore waters, and the formative process in configuration, and profile. The intensity distribution of waves affecting the mud flats in lianyungang, and the conditions determining tidal water levels, are discussed in this paper. A mathematical model which describes the erosion process of mud flats has been derived on the basis of the results of tests for the mud process in seawater. The model is satisfactory for the actual mud flat profile change in lianyungang with artificial mud discharges.

Based on the GPS/MET water vapor monitoring data and conventional meteorological data at lianyungang station from April to July, 2015, the relationship between precipitable water vapor and real precipitation was studied. According to different precipitation, change trends of precipitable water vapor in convective precipitation and steady precipitation were analyzed. Results showed that necessary condition of precipitation generation was high precipitable water vapor value in the air. Precipitable water vapor change presented wave-shape and phased characters. In convection precipitation, precipitable water vapor changed frequently and had larger change amplitude, while its change was slow in steady precipi- tation. The appearing time of the maximum values of rainfall intensity and precipitable water vapor was not necessarily consistent, but it was known that severe rainfall usually began at the high-value stage of precipitable water vapor, and high-value stage of precipitable water vapor often corresponded to higher precipitation probability. In addition, precipitable water vapor showed different characteristics in the above two different precipitation, and these results could provide a reference for precipitation forecast.

[Objective]The research aimed to study climatic change characteristics of sunshine hours in lianyungang and analyze its formation reason. [Method]Based on monthly sunshine hours,precipitation,cloudiness,haze days and vapor pressure from 7 stations of lianyungang from 1961 to 2010,monthly,seasonal,annual and interdecadal change trends of the sunshine hours were analyzed by using MK test,linear trend analysis and Morlet wavelet. Meanwhile,the cause of change characteristics was analyzed. [Result] Monthly sunshine hours of lianyungang showed bimodal distribution,and seasonal and annual sunshine hours had decreasing trend at different degrees. The interdecadal change of sunshine hours showed wave characteristics. The annual sunshine hours had multiple temporal-spatial scale features,and there was an obvious mutation in the late 1980s. Sunshine hours in lianyungang was closely related to visibility,cloudiness,vapor pressure and haze,and they were important factors causing that sunshine hours significantly declined. [Conclusion]The research could provide reference basis for scientifically developing and using solar energy resource and reasonably adjusting industrial and agricultural structures.

Based on annual minimum air temperature, the minimum ground temperature, cloudiness, air pressure, wind velocity in lianyungang City during 1971 -2010 and sounding geopotential height, wind direction, dew point and temperature at related stations, using mathematical stepwise regression method and SPSS statistical software, short-term prediction equations of daily minimum air temperature and daily minimum ground temperature at the observation station were established. According to the relationships between frost and temperature, ground temperature, based on local frost forecast standard, the short-term forecast equation was used to judge if frost occurred in lianyungang City. Via real-time weather mo- nitoring, accurate and fine forecast and early warning, short-term objective forecast business system of frost in lianyungang was established for a full range of effective service.

BACKGROUND Acute liver failure(ALF)is a common cause of postoperative death in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and is a serious threat to patient *** neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)is a common inflammatory indicator that is associated with the prognosis of various diseases,and the albumin-bilirubin score(ALBI)is used to evaluate liver function in liver cancer ***,this study aimed to construct a predictive model for postoperative ALF in HCC tumor integrity resection(R0)based on the NLR and ALBI,providing a basis for clinicians to choose appropriate treatment *** To construct an ALF prediction model after R0 surgery for HCC based on NLR and *** In total,194 patients with HCC who visited The First People’s Hospital of lianyungang to receive R0 between May 2018 and May 2023 were enrolled and divided into the ALF and non-ALF *** compared differences in the NLR and ALBI between the two *** risk factors of ALF after R0 surgery for HCC were screened in the univariate *** risk factors were analyzed by multifactorial logistic *** then constructed a prediction model of ALF after R0 surgery for HCC.A receiver operating characteristic curve,calibration curve,and decision curve analysis(DCA)were used to evaluate the value of the prediction *** Among 194 patients with HCC who met the standard inclusion criteria,46 cases of ALF occurred after R0(23.71%).There were significant differences in the NLR and ALBI between the two groups(P<0.05).The univariate analysis showed that alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)and blood loss volume(BLV)were significantly higher in the ALF group compared with the non-ALF group(P<0.05).The multifactorial analysis showed that NLR,ALBI,AFP,and BLV were independent risk factors for ALF after R0 surgery in *** predictive efficacy of NLR,ALBI,AFP,and BLV in predicting the occurrence of ALT after R0 surgery for HCC was average[area under the curve(AUC)NLR=0.767,AUCALB
