Do Victims Defend Victims?The Mediating Role of Empathy between Victimization Experience and Public-Defending Tendency in school Bullying Situations

Objectives:This study investigates the association between victimization experience and the tendency to defend on behalf of victims during school bullying incidents in public settings,with a focus on the mediating effect of empathy and the moderating role of school level among Chinese children and ***:Data were collected by a cross-sectional survey.A total of 1491 students in Grades 4–11 participated(Boys=52.8%;Mean_(age)=13.00 years,Standard Deviation_(age)=2.31).Structural equation modeling is employed to test the ***:The results indicate that empathy measures partially mediate the relationship between victimization experience and defending tendency in public in-school bullying *** particular,individuals with a history of victimization typically demonstrate lower levels of *** are less likely to protect victims in school bullying situations in the presence of others,which suggests that empathy plays a significant mediating role in this *** differences were found between primary and secondary school students,which indicates that the hypothesized model should be considered through a developmental ***:The findings of this study emphasize the importance of children’s benign peer relationships,and practitioners are encouraged to prevent victimization in schools and care for students who have been victimized;specific measures include cultivating empathy,teaching defending skills that have been found to help reduce the adverse effects of victimization,and encouraging prosocial behavior during children's socialization development.

The management strategies of a firm are inevitable affected by individual behavior preferences. The effect of individual preference on the evolutionary dynamics for supply chains is studied by employing replicator dynamics. Each firm has three behavior preferences: selfishness, fairness, and altruism. Firstly, the case that the strategy set of manufacturers and retailers including two pure strategies is considered and the effect of preference parameter on the equilibrium outcome in the shortterm interaction is discussed. Secondly, the equilibrium state in the short-term is always disturbed because the change of the environment, firm’s structure, and so forth. Using the replicator dynamics,the evolutionary stable strategies of manufacturers and retailers in the long-term interaction are analyzed. Finally, the extend case that the strategy set of manufacturers and retailers include three pure strategies is investigated. These results are found that the strategy profile in which both manufacturer and retailer choose fairness or altruism, or one player chooses fair or altruistic strategy and the other player chooses selfish strategy may be evolutionary stable, the stability of these equilibria depends on the the preference parameters.

Having the advantages of certificateless signature and the aggregate signature at the same time,certificateless aggregate signature has been widely applied in e-business, e-government and software security since it was proposed in 2007. Although a number of certificateless aggregate signature schemes have been proposed, all of them are based on the classic number theory problem,which are no longer secure in the quantum era. In this paper, a certificateless sequential aggregate signature over number theory research unit lattice is proposed, which is proven to be secure in random oracle model. Moreover,we extend the new scheme into an efficient certificatebased sequential aggregate signature which is also secure in quantum era.

The authors consider an M/M/1 queue with two types of customers,where customers are classified into two categories according to their psychological feelings when facing uncertainty about queue *** the unobservable queue,experienced customers could accurately calculate their expected utilities,while first-time customers are loss-averse and the psychological feelings could incur additional gain-loss *** defining customers'willingness to pay,the authors derive the equilibrium joining-balking behaviors for each type of customer and obtain the service provider's optimal pricing *** authors also classify the implications of the obtained results.

Resolving the Pension Payment Crisis:Effect of the Central Adjustment System

The central adjustment system is the first step of the national coordination of basic pension,which can alleviate the pension payment crisis in some *** paper establishes an actuarial model,measures the financial status of the central adjustment fund,and simulates the impact of the central adjustment system on the sustainability and subsidies of the basic pension funds in each province(municipality).The results show that:(1)Before the central adjustment fund system,the first accumulated deficit of basic pension occured earier in central region than that in casterm and westerm region.(2)Afer the implementation of the central adjustment system,the basic pension funds in 19 provinces(municipalities)experienced a decline in the scale of the first accumulated deficit,and the time of the first accumulated deficit in Sichuan and Liaoning was postponed.(3)Increasing the:handover ratio of the central adjustment system will enhance the adjustment effect.(4)The adjustment effect of the central adjustment system is positively ffected by the effect of the delayed retirement policy.(5)Under the current handover and appropriation method of central adjustment system,a higher contribution rate means more fund revenue for areas with a higher proportion of *** central adjustment system is conducive to the sustainability of the pension fund in West China and other areas with underdeveloped market economy,but the actual efect depends on the retirement age,the subscription rate,the wage level and so *** strengthening pension fund adjustment,the govermment should take into account the current operation status of pension funds to ensure both fairness and fficiency.

In this study,we examine the relationship between job satisfaction and firm leverage using a sample of Chinese listed *** find that in a sample of‘‘China’s 100 Best Employers Award"winners during 2011–2017,job satisfaction is negatively associated with firm *** effect is more pronounced in firms with higher distress risk and operating in human capital intensive *** confirm the validity of the main findings using a matched sample and a series of robustness ***,our results indicate that firms can credibly demonstrate their commitment to stakeholders and re-shape their capital structure by improving job satisfaction.

In view of the breakthrough progress of the depth learning method in image and other fields,this paper attempts to introduce the depth learning method into stock price forecasting to provide investors with reasonable investment *** paper proposes a stock prediction hybrid model named ISI-CNN-LSTM considering investor sentiment based on the combination of long short-term memory(LSTM) and convolutional neural network(CNN).The model adopts an end-to-end network structure,using LSTM to extract the temporal features in the data and CNN to mine the deep features in the data can effectively improve the prediction ability of the model by increasing investor sentiment in the network *** empirical part makes a comparative experimental analysis based on Shanghai stock index in *** comparing the experimental prediction results and evaluation indicators,it verifies the prediction effectiveness and feasibility of ISI-CNN-LSTM network model.

Innovation is a driving force of wealth *** explore its time-varying effect on income inequality,we propose a nonparametric model using the local linear dummy variable estimation(LLDVE)*** on province-level panel data from China spanning from 2006 to 2020,we find that innovation initially reduces income disparity until 2009,then exacerbates it from 2013 to 2016,and alleviates inequality again over *** further verify that financial permeation serves as a catalyst in the inequitable income distribution driven by ***,this moderating effect reverses the relationship between green innovation and income *** suggests that we should enhance the financial service towards all aspects of innovation beyond its support of green innovation.
