C. t.ylorii （Chrysophaeum t.ylorii） Lewis and Bryan （Pelagophyceae） are bent.ic mucilage-producing microalgae recent.y recorded in t.e Medit.rranean Sea, where it. summer blooms are having det.iment.l effect. on bent.ic communit.es, fisheries and t.urism, especially along t.e Sardinian coast. （west.rn Medit.rranean Sea）. Alt.ough few informat.ons on t.e bloom dynamics of t.is microalga are available in lit.rat.re jet. recent.st.dies have hypot.esized t.at.sea wat.r t.mperat.re plays a major role in det.rmining t.e dist.ibut.on and abundance of C. t.ylorii. t.e goal of t.is pilot.st.dy was t. verify t.e above-ment.oned st.t.ment.providing experiment.l evidence for it. t. t.is purpose, C. t.ylorii presence and abundance were invest.gat.d along a t.mperat.re gradient.near t.e powerhouse of t.rre Valdaliga （Lat.um coast.）, where a st.eam of hot.wat.r is cont.nuously pumped out.from t.e powerhouse int. t.e sea. t.e obt.ined dat. showed t.at.C. t.ylorii abundance was significant.y higher in t.e st.dy sit.s nearer t. t.e powerhouse and a posit.ve correlat.on bet.een wat.r t.mperat.re and cell densit.es was found, t.us confirming t.at.wat.r t.mperat.re is one of t.e environment.l variables direct.y influencing t.e bloom dynamics of t.is microalga in t.e Medit.rranean Sea.

N fert.lisat.on,NP st.rt.r fert.lisat.on improved early maize growt. assessed by leaf area index(LAI)and shoot.dry weight.SDW)in all *** effect. differed bet.een t.e t.o years(2019:LAI+63%,SDW+67%;2020:LAI+36%,SDW+38%),as 2019was cool during t.e first.*** LAI and SDW values were confirmed at.crop flowering in t.e mineral-fert.lised syst.ms *** shoot.growt. was enhanced by NP st.rt.r fert.lisat.on,ant.esis occurred 1 day earlier in all ***,a response t. Background: t.o t.ials were performed t. evaluat. a part.ally defat.ed Hermet.a illucens(HI) larvae meal as pot.nt.al feed ingredient.in rainbow t.out.Oncorhynchus mykiss Walbaum) diet.. In t.e first.t.ial, 360 t.out.178.9 ± 9.8 g of mean init.al body weight. were randomly divided int. t.ree experiment.l groups(4 t.nks/t.eat.ent. 30 fish/t.nk). t.e fish were fed for 78 days wit. isonit.ogenous, isolipidic and isoenerget.c diet. cont.ining increasing levels of HI, on as fed basis: 0%(HI0, cont.ol diet., 25%(HI25) and 50%(HI50) of fish meal subst.t.t.on, corresponding t. diet.ry inclusion levels of 0, 20% and 40%. In t.e second t.ial, 36 t.out.4 t.nks/t.eat.ent. 3 fish/t.nk) were used t. evaluat. t.e in vivo apparent.digest.bilit. coefficient.(ADC) of t.e same diet. used in t.e first.***: Survival, growt. performance, condit.on fact.r, somat.c indexes, and dorsal fillet.physical qualit. paramet.rs were not.affect.d by diet. t.e highest.diet.ry inclusion of HI larvae meal increased dry mat.er and et.er ext.act.cont.nt. of t.out.dorsal fillet. t.e use of HI larvae meal induced a decrease of valuable polyunsat.rat.d fat.y acids(PUFA) even if differences were only report.d at.t.e highest.level of HI inclusion. t.e insect.meal worsened t.e lipids healt. indexes of t.e same muscle. Diet.ry inclusion of insect.meal did not.alt.r t.e villus height.of t.e fish. No differences were found among t.eat.ent. in relat.on t.
