Micro-strain regulation strategy to stabilize perovskite lattice based on the categories and impact of strain on perovskite solar cells

Photovoltaic metal halide perovskite solar cells(PSCs) convert light to electricity more efficiently than crystalline silicon cells, and the cost of materials used to make them is lower than that of silicon *** efficiency is not a core issue affecting the application of perovskite solar cells in special *** present, stability is the major technical encounters that hinders its further commercial development. Microstrain in PSCs is currently a significant factor responsible for the device's instability. Strain-induced ion migration is widely believed to accelerate perovskite degradation even when external stimuli are ***, it is imperative to study strain to enhance the stability of PSCs. This paper reviews recent developments to understand strain's origin and effect mechanisms on performance of PSCs, including ion migration,failure behavior, defect formation, and its effect on photoelectric properties, stability, and ***, several well-known strain management strategies are systematically introduced based on the strain effect mechanism and strain engineering on the film, providing more clues for further preparation with increased stability. The manipulation of external physical strain applied from films to entire devices has been extensively studied. Furthermore, recommendations for future research directions and chemical approaches have been provided. It is emphasized that strain engineering plays a crucial role in improving the efficiency and longevity of PSCs. Tensile strain causes rapid degradation, while moderate compressive strain and external strain control could improve properties and stability. Efforts should focus on controlling compressive strain to mitigate residual tensile strain and introducing it in a controlled manner. Future research endeavors may focus on exploring these pathways to improve the efficiency and lifespan of PSCs.

One of the primary goals of space-borne gravitational wave detectors is to detect and analyze extreme-mass-ratio inspirals(EMRIs). This task is particularly challenging because EMRI signals are complex, lengthy, and faint. In this work, we introduce a2-layer convolutional neural network(CNN) approach to detect EMRI signals for space-borne detectors, achieving a true positive rate(TPR) of 96.9% at a 1% false positive rate(FPR) for signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) from 50 to 100. Especially, the key intrinsic parameters of EMRIs such as the mass, spin of the supermassive black hole(SMBH) and the initial eccentricity of the orbit can also be inferred directly by employing a neural network. The mass and spin of the SMBH can be determined at 99% and 92% respectively. This will greatly reduce the parameter spaces and computing cost for the following Bayesian parameter *** model also has a low dependency on the accuracy of the waveform model. This study underscores the potential of deep learning methods in EMRI data analysis, enabling the rapid detection of EMRI signals and efficient parameter estimation.

A surface engineering strategy for the stabilization of zinc metal anodes with montmorillonite layers toward long-life rechargeable aqueous zinc ion batteries

Rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries （AZIBs） exhibit appreciable potential in the domain of electrochemical energy ***,there are serious challenges for AZIBs,for instance zinc dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution reaction （HER）,and corrosion side ***,we propose a surface engineering modification strategy for coating the montmorillonite （MMT） layer onto the surface of the Zn anode to tackle these issues,thereby achieving high cycling stability for rechargeable *** results reveal that the MMT layer on the surface of the Zn anode is able to provide ordered zincophilic channels for zinc ions migration,facilitating the reaction kinetics of zinc *** functional theory（DFT） calculations and water contact angle （CA） tests prove that MMT@Zn anode exhibits superior adsorption capacity for Zn2+and better hydrophobicity than the bare Zn anode,thereby achieving excellent cycling ***,the MMT@Zn||MMT@Zn symmetric cell holds the stable cycling over 5600 h at 0.5 mA cm-2and 0.125 m A h cm-2,even exceeding 1800 h long cycling under harsh conditions of 5 m A cm-2and 1.25 m A h *** MMT@Zn||V2O5full cell reaches over 3000 cycles at 2 A g-1with excellent rate ***,this surface engineering modification strategy for enhancing the electrochemical performance of AZIBs represents a promising application.

Deciphering the role of ultra-low-loaded rhodium in NiFe-MIL-53 for superior oxygen evolution reaction

Designing highly active and stable electrocatalysts of oxygen evolution reaction （OER） is one of the crucial *** this study,a novel OER electrocatalyst,NiFe-MIL-53 modified with ultra-low rhodium（Rh@NiFe-MIL-53）,is successfully prepared via the hydrothermal ***-situ Raman spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy reveal that the doped Rh accelerates the phase transformation of NiFe-MIL-53 and the in-situ formed Rh@NiFeOOH is the actual active *** importantly,the enhanced reversibility of electrochemical reconstruction between NiFeOOH and NiFe（OH）2after doping Rh is beneficial for improving the electrochemical stability of the catalyst.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectra show the strong electronic interaction between single-atom Rh and Ni/Fe in Rh@***,theoretical calculations confirm that the integration of single-atom Rh into the NiFeOOH successfully reduces the band gap,regulates the d-band center （εd）,accelerates the charge transfer,and optimizes the adsorption behavior of oxygen-containing intermediates,thereby lowering the energy barrier of rate-determining ***,the optimized Rh@NiFe-MIL-53 exhibits excellent OER activity （240 mV） with a small Tafel slope of 48.2 mV dec-1and long-term durability (over1270 h at 10 m A cm-2and 110 h at 200 mA cm-2).This work presents a new perspective on designing highly efficient OER electrocatalysts.

Low-Level Wind Shear Characteristics and Lidar-Based Alerting at lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport,China

lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport[International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO)code ZLLL]is located in a wind shear prone area in China,where most low-level wind shear events occur in dry weather *** analyzed temporal distribution and synoptic circulation background for 18 dry wind shear events reported by pilots at ZLLL by using the NCEP final(FNL)operational global analysis data,and then proposed a lidar-based regional divergence algorithm(RDA)to determine wind shear intensity and ***-level wind shear at ZLLL usually occurs in the afternoon and evening in dry *** wind shear events occur in an unstable atmosphere over ZLLL,with changes in wind speed or direction generally found at 700 hPa and 10-m *** on synoptic circulations at 700 hPa,wind shear events could be classified as strong northerly,convergence,southerly,and weak wind *** proposed RDA successfully identified low-level wind shear except one southerly case,achieving94%alerting rate compared with 82%for the operational system at ZLLL and 88%for the ramp detection algorithm(widely used in some operational alert systems)based on the same *** RDA-unidentified southerly case occurred in a near neutral atmosphere,and wind speed change could not be captured by the Doppler lidar.

Lead halide perovskite nanocrystals(NCs)exhibit excellent optoelectronic performance and have drawn great interests in the fields of biological imaging and ***,the poor stability of CsPbX_(3)(X=Cl,Br,I)in water is still a challenge to hinder their practical *** this work,a facile strategy has been developed for aqueous synthesis of CsPbX_(3) nanocrystals,in which L-glutamic acid(LGlu)has been used to replace oleic acid in the synthetic *** from the synergic effects of L-Glu and oleylamine(OAm),CsPbBr_(3)nanocrystals(L-Glu/OAm-CsPbBr_(3)NCs)with high water stability have been directly prepared under a mild condition at room temperature in water,facilitated by the process of crystal phase transformation from Cs_(4)PbBr_(6) to CsPbBr_(3).L-Glu/OAm-CsPbBr_(3)NCs exhibit a high quantum yield of 85%and a narrow full width at half maximum of 16 nm,demonstrating their efficient luminescence in ***,L-Glu on the surface have contributed greatly to an acidic environment and passivation of surface defects,improving the water stability and dispersibility of CsPbBr_(3)***,L-Glu/OAm-CsPbBr_(3)NCs exhibit great biocompatibility due to the presence of L-Glu,resulting in their good performance for HeLa cell ***,we propose a facile and effective method to prepare CsPbBr_(3)nanocrystals with excellent water stability by using L-Glu and OAm as cooperated ligands and expand their application in cell imaging.

Interaction of DNA with aromatic hydrocarbons fraction in atmospheric particulates of Xigu District of lanzhou,China

Voluminously epidemiological studies show that the relationships exist between the air pollution and human health and cancer. Aromatic hydrocarbons （AHs） in air form a large class of organic pollutants, which are widely in environment and many of them are known to be carcinogenic and/or mutagenic and contribute to ambient air pollution. In the past decades, bioassays mainly have been used to evaluate the toxicity of chemical mixtures in atmospheric particulates or aqueous environment. However, it is well known that the covalent complexes formed by carcinogens with DNA may be exert negative results in bioassay. So the main aim of this paper is to develop an evaluation method of toxicity effects of chemical mixtures in atmospheric particulates from chemical standpoint. In this study, the in vitro interaction of the AHs with DNA was investigated by absorption, fluorescence and resonance light scattering （RLS） spectroscopic techniques. The results showed that the AHs in the atmospheric particulates could combine with calf thymus DNA （ctDNA） and herring sperm DNA （hsDNA） without being activated or metabolized by organism, respectively. Intercalation may be present in the mechanism of interaction. The binding constants of the AHs with ctDNA and hsDNA were 2.5x102 and 2.0x103, respectively, which indicated that the interaction of the AHs with hsDNA is stronger than that with ctDNA. In addition, the relationships of dose-effect between the total mole concentration of chemical components and the ability of binding ctDNA and hsDNA were confirmed. This research made it possible to study the toxicity effects of chemical mixtures in atmospheric particulates by chemical method. It is believed that the composition and contents of unknown AHs and the interaction of DNA with AHs in atmospheric particulates of Xigu District of lanzhou City, China are first reported in the past twenty years.
