Evaluation of the satellite's wake effect on the electric field detector onboard the CSES-01 satellite

This study aimed to evaluate the wake effect on the electric field detector(EFD) onboard the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite(CSES-01). Through a series of experiments and analyses, we confirmed that the disturbance phenomenon from probe B of the EFD is not caused by the boom layout. To validate and determine whether it is influenced by the wake effect, we conducted two experiments. In the first experiment, the entire satellite platform underwent a 90° counterclockwise yaw maneuver to allow probe B to avoid the plasma wake region. We then verified whether the disturbance was improved. In the second experiment, the satellite platform performed a 180° counterclockwise yaw maneuver, positioning probe B on the ram side of the satellite and completely avoiding all satellite wakes. The plasma wake effect of the satellite did not significantly influence the spherical probes of the EFD because the measurement accuracy stayed relatively stable under the two experiments, despite the observed abnormalities in the operating state of spherical probe B. This consistency in performance is important for electric field detection missions because the spatial electric field vector data obtained from these probes continue to effectively reflect information on spatial electromagnetic disturbances. These two experimental results showed that probe B consistently exhibited data jump phenomena under various maneuver states, whereas probes A, C, and D did not display such phenomena in any maneuver state.

Data Gathering Based on Hybrid Energy Efficient Clustering Algorithm and DCRNN Model in Wireless Sensor Network

In order to solve the problems of short network lifetime and high data transmission delay in data gathering for wireless sensor network(WSN) caused by uneven energy consumption among nodes, a hybrid energy efficient clustering routing base on firefly and pigeon-inspired algorithm(FF-PIA) is proposed to optimise the data transmission path. After having obtained the optimal number of cluster head node(CH), its result might be taken as the basis of producing the initial population of FF-PIA algorithm. The L′evy flight mechanism and adaptive inertia weighting are employed in the algorithm iteration to balance the contradiction between the global search and the local search. Moreover, a Gaussian perturbation strategy is applied to update the optimal solution, ensuring the algorithm can jump out of the local optimal solution. And, in the WSN data gathering, a onedimensional signal reconstruction algorithm model is developed by dilated convolution and residual neural networks(DCRNN). We conducted experiments on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA) dataset. It shows that the DCRNN modeldriven data reconstruction algorithm improves the reconstruction accuracy as well as the reconstruction time performance. FF-PIA and DCRNN clustering routing co-simulation reveals that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the performance in extending the network lifetime and reducing data transmission delay.

Neoadjuvant therapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors in combination with chemotherapy vs. chemotherapy alone in HER2(-) locally advanced gastric cancer: A propensity score-matched cohort study

Background: This study aims to compare the efficacy between neoadjuvant immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) plus chemotherapyvs. chemotherapy, and neoadjuvant tripletvs. doublet chemotherapeutic regimens in locally advanced gastric/esophagogastric junction cancer (LAGC).Methods: We included LAGC patients from 47 hospitals in China’s National Cancer information Database (NCID) from January 2019 to December 2022. Using propensity score matching (PSM), we retrospectively analyzed the efficacy between neoadjuvant ICIs plus chemotherapyvs. chemotherapy alone, and neoadjuvant tripletvs. doublet chemotherapeutic regimens. The primary study result was the pathologic complete response (pCR) rate. The secondary study results were disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS).Results: A total of 1205 LAGC patients were included. After PSM, the ICIs plus chemotherapy and the chemotherapy cohorts had 184 patients each, while the doublet and triplet chemotherapy cohorts had 246 patients each. The pCR rate (14.13%vs. 7.61%, χ2 = 4.039,P = 0.044), and the 2-year (77.60%vs. 61.02%, HR = 0.67, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.43-0.98,P = 0.048) and 3-year (70.55%vs. 61.02%, HR = 0.58, 95% CI 0.32-0.93,P = 0.048) DFS rates in the ICIs plus chemotherapy cohort were improved compared to those in the chemotherapy cohort. No significant increase was observed in the OS rates at both 1 year and 2 years. The pCR rates, DFS rates at 1-3 years, and OS rates at 1-2 years did not differ significantly between the doublet and triplet cohorts, respectively. No differences were observed in postoperative complications between any of the group ***: Neoadjuvant ICIs plus chemotherapy improved the pCR rate and 2-3 years DFS rates of LAGC compared to chemotherapy alone, but whether short-term benefit could translate into long-term efficacy is unclear. Frequency Synchronization Based on a Cascading Cross-correlation Function for co-FBMC-OQAM

We present a robust frequency synchronization algorithm for the coherent optical Offset quadrature-amplitude modulation based Filter-bank multicarrier(co-FBMC-OQAM) *** is a two-stage method operating in the frequency domain, which expands the estimated range of the normalized fractional frequency offset to(-1, +1).We designed and introduced a cascading cross-correlation function of real-valued pilots to roughly estimate the frequency offset in the first *** residual frequency offset was accurately tracked by a non-cascading cross-correlation function *** approach enlarges the maximum estimated range, and also resists interference and noise.A co-FBMC-OQAM system with the sampling rate of 50 Gsample/s was numerically investigated to evaluate the frequency-offset estimation and compensation *** obtained results prove that the proposed frequency synchronization method can correct the laser-frequency offset and improve the transmission performance significantly.

The upper limb rehabilitation robot technology integrates rehabilitation medicine,human anatomy,mechanics,computer science,robotics,and many other *** main function is to drive the affected limb to carry out rehabilitation training to restore the condition of patients with upper limb dyskinesia,which plays a great role in improving the quality of *** this study,to resolve the problems of slow convergence speed and poor tracking accuracy due to the interference of patient spasms with the trajectory-tracking control of the upper limb rehabilitation robot,a novel algorithm based on active disturbance rejection control(ADRC)is adopted,and the convergence of its main structure is proved by the time-domain analysis ***,this ADRC algorithm can obtain better trajectory-tracking performance due to its non-linear extended observer and non-linear feedback mechanism,even if the model suffers a strong disturbance or receives inaccurate ***,the non-linear tracking differentiator can guarantee to gain quick convergence *** validate this algorithm,a model of three degrees of freedom upper limb rehabilitation robot is established using MATLAB R2019b and three situations including strong spasm and weak spasm are carried out to prove the effectiveness and reliability of the control algorithm designed.

Analytical solutions for full-field radiations of magnetoelectric antennas with nonlinear magnetoelastic coupling

This paper presents analytical solutions for full-field radiation in magnetoelectric(ME)antennas,considering a fully magnetoelastic coupled constitutive relation.A nonlinear converse ME coupling model is established,incorporating mechanical,electric,and magnetic variables with generalized Maxwell *** model emphasizes the essence of ME antennas,where radiation is achieved through strain/stress-mediated coupling between different *** magnetic flux density and electric displacement obtained from the model are used as sources to solve the full-field radiations of ME *** proposed model is validated through existing experiments and simulations,demonstrating that the radiation performance of ME antennas is strongly influenced by nonlinear magneto-elastic *** material parameters and magnetic bias significantly impact the magnetic flux density and far-field radiation due to the nonlinear magnetization *** study reveals the mechanisms behind enhanced working bandwidth and frequency tuning by examining the frequency response of the radiation impedance with material *** adjusting the initial magnetization rate,saturation magnetostriction,and saturation magnetization,the radiation efficiency/gain can be increased by 340%,108%,and 112%*** model enhances our understanding of the full-field radiation of ME antennas and provides a foundation for designing tunable ME antennas.

Ohmic contact behaviour of co/C/4H-SiC structures

The electrical contact properties of co/4H-SiC structures are investigated.A carbon interfacial layer between a co film and SiC is used to improve the Ohmic contact properties *** C film is deposited prior to co film deposition on SiC using DC *** high quality Ohmic contact and specific contact resistivity of 2.30×10-6Ω·cm2 are obtained for co/C/SiC structures after two-step annealing at 500℃for 10 min and 1050℃for 3 *** physical properties of the contacts are examined by using *** results indicate that the co-based metal contacts have better structural stability of silicide phases formed after the high temperature annealing and carbon-enriched layer is produced below the contact,playing a key role in forming an Ohmic contact through the reduction of effective Schottky barrier height for the transport of *** thermal stability of Au/co/C/SiC Ohmic contacts is *** contacts remain Ohmic on doped n-type（2.8×1018 cm-3） 4H-SiC after thermal aging treatment at 500℃for 20 h.
