This paper analyses the decorative polychrome painting of architectural members(caihua)that has survived in the Hall of Mental Cultivation(Yangxindian)in the Forbidden City,*** with the Yongzheng emperor,the Hall of Mental Cultivation was the residence and centre of daily governance for Chinese *** information gained through on-site surveys and scaled drawings executed during a recent conservation project with evidence from historical records and other sources,this study finds that the remaining decorative polychrome painting can be dated to four different historical phases:the reign of the Jiajing emperor;the late Ming and early Qing dynasties;the reign of the Qianlong emperor;and the late Qing Dynasty and beginning of the Republic of *** reveals that the designs of decorative polychrome painting on architectural members are closely related to changes in the functions of the buildings and imperial *** part of an investigative conservation project,the study aims to provide a reliable basis for the conservation and repair work in the next step.

1-（3-Fluorobenzoyl）-3-（4-trifluoromethylphenyl）thiourea, C15H10F4N2OS, has been synthesized firstly and determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The title compound crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 31.87（3）, b = 7.705（9）, c = 12.591（14） A°, b = 106.06（2）°, V = 2971（6） A°^3, Z = 8, Dc=1.530 g·cm^-1, F（000） = 1392, m = 0.266 mm^–1, S = 1.06, the final R = 0.070 and w R（I 〉 2s（I）） = 0.249. The crystal structure revealed that the carbonyl thiourea unit in the determined compound was mostly planar due in part to the formation of intramolecular N–H···O=C and C–H···S=C hydrogen bonds that form two S（6） rings. The intermolecular contacts of the crystal structure have been preformed based on the Hirshfeld surface and their associated 2D fingerprint plots. In the packing diagram of the synthesized compound, the C=S group formed two types of intermolecular hydrogen bonds by the H–N（C=O） group and the H–C of the phenyl ring, respectively, and they formed R2^2（8） and R2^2（14） ring motifs, respectively. The crystal packing form was also stabilized by the intermolecular hydrogen bonds C–H···O（1–x, y, 0.5–z） with the R2^2（10） ring motifs. In addition, supramolecular layers sustained by π-π stacking interactions（between the C（2）～C（7） rings with the C（10）～C（15） rings） are formed in the crystal structure of the title compound. The electronic and reactivity were assessed by the natural bond orbital（NBO） analysis in this study.

Aim: To determine preoperative demographic, clinical, and optical coherence tomography (OCT) factors which might predict the visual and anatomical outcome at 1 year in patients undergoing vitrectomy and inner limiting membrane peel for diabetic macular oedema (DMO). Methods: A prospective, interventional case series of 33 patients who completed 1 year follow up. Measure ments were taken preoperatively and at 1 year. Outcome measures were logMAR visual acuity (VA) and OCT macular thickness. A priori explanatory variables included baseline presence of clinical and/or OCT signs suggesting macular traction, grade of diabetic maculopathy, posterior vitreous detachment, fluorescein leakage and ischaemia on angiography, presence of subretinal fluid, and peroperative indocyanine green (ICG) use. Results: 33 patients completed 1 year follow up. On average VA deteriorated by 0.035 logMAR (p = 0.40). Macular thickness significantly improved by a mean of 139 μm (95%CI; 211 to 67, p < 0.001). Patients with evidence of clinical and/or OCT macular traction significantly improved logMAR acuity (logMAR improvement =0.08) compared with patients without traction (log MAR deterioration 0.11,p = 0.01)-. Presence of subretinal fluid significantly predicted worse postoperative result (p = 0.01). Conclusion: On average, patients showed a statistically significant improvement in central macular thickness following treatment but a marginal acuity worsening. Presence of subretinal fluid on OCT is hypothesised to be exudative rather than fractional in nature. The visual benefit of vitrectomy for DMO in this study was limited to patients who exhibit signs of macular traction either clinically and/or on OCT.

Several ectodermal dysplasia syndromes have been shown to result from mutations in the gene that encodes the transcription factor p63. We describe an 11- year-old boy, with clinically normal parents, who had a developmental disorder that resembled EEC (ectrodactyly ectodermal dysplasia-clefting) syndrome (OMIM 604292). He had ectrodactyly and missing middle fingers bilaterally, onychodysplasia, hypodontia with missing teeth, hypohidrosis and lacrimal duct obstruction. DNA sequencing disclosed a heterozygous G ?ú .A substitution at nucleotide 893, that converts an arginine residue (CGA) to glutamine (CAA), the mutation being designated R298Q. This mutation occurs within the DNA-binding domain of p63, and is close to many of the published EEC syndrome mutations. However, R298Q has been described once previously in a large German pedigree, not with EEC syndrome, but another ectodermal dysplasia disorder, ADULT (acro-dermato-unguallacrimal-tooth) syndrome (OMIM 103285). Further clinical assessment in our patient revealed that, apart from not having cleft lip and/or palate, he had an exfoliative dermatitis of his hands and feet, and some freckling on his face and shoulders. Collectively, these features support a diagnosis of ADULT syndrome. This study has identified a specific genotype- phenotype correlation in a rare ectodermal dysplasia syndrome and the findings are useful in improving genetic counselling in this family.

Guanidimium-4,4-azo-l-hydro-1,2,4-triazol-5-one （GZTO·H2O） was synthesized from 4-amino-1,2,4-triazol- 5-one as a starting material by two-step including oxidation coupling using acid KMnO4 and reaction with （NH2）2C=NHoHNO3 （GN） in KOH solution. The single crystal of the title compound was obtained by slow evapo- ration method at room temperature, and its structure was firstly determined with X-ray single-crystal diffractometer. It is a orthorhombic crystal, space group Pbca with cell dimensions of a = 1.0459（2） nm, b =- 1.3584（3） nm, c= 1.6103（3） nm, a= 90.00（10）°, β=90.00（11）°,γ=90.00（11）°, V=2.2878（8） nm3, Z=8, De= 1.587 gocm-3, F（000） = 1136,/l = 0.132 mm- 1, R1 = 0.0455, wR2 = 0. 1397. The thermal behavior of GZTO·H2O was studied under a non-isothermal condition by DSC-TGA method, and its thermal decomposition process can be divided into three stages, and the first stage is an intense exothermic decomposition process. The second stage and the third stage are slow exothermic decomposition processes. The critical temperature of thermal explosion is 237.74℃.

AIM: To examine body fluids such as ascitic fluid (AF),saliva,bile and pleural effusions for the presence of hepcidin using a novel radioimmunoassay (RIA).METHODS: Serum samples were collected from 25 healthy volunteers (mean age: 36 ± 11.9 years,11 males,14 females).In addition bile was obtained from 12 patients undergoing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (mean age: 66.9 ± 16.7 years,M:F = 5:7).Saliva was collected from 17 healthy volunteers (mean age: 35 ± 9.9 years,M:F = 8:9).Pleural and AF were collected from 11 and 16 patients [(mean age: 72 ± 20.5 years,M:F = 7:4) and (mean age: 67.32 ± 15.2 years,M:F = 12:4)],*** biological fluid samples (serum,exudative and transudative fluids) were tested for the presence of hepcidin-25 molecule using ***: Hepcidin-25 was detected in all biological fluids *** mean ± SD hepcidin-25 in serum was 15.68 ± 15.7 ng/mL,bile 7.37 ± 7.4 ng/mL,saliva 3.4 ± 2.8 ng/mL,exudative fluid 65.64 ± 96.82 ng/mL and transudative fluid 14.1 ± 17.8 ng/***: We provide clear evidence that hepcidin-25 is present in bile,saliva,pleural and ascitic *** is likely to play a role here in innate immunity.

Synthesis, Structure Characteristic and Thermal Behavior of Two New Metal-organic Azo-triazole Compounds： [Zn（phen）3]·ZTO·6H2O and [Cu（phen）3]-ZTO·6H2O

[Zn（phen）3]·ZTO-6H2O（1） and [Cu（phen）3]·ZTO·6H2O（2） were synthesized by the reaction of ZnCNO3）2·6H2O/Cu（NO3）2·3H2O with 4,4-azo-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-one（ZTO） and 1,10-phenanthroline（phen）. The two compounds were characterized by elemental analysis and IR spectrum analysis, respectively. Compound 1 was also characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. For compound l, the coordination geometry around the Zn^2＋ is a distorted octahedron, with the bite angles of 76.7（3）°-77.6（4）° for all three phen ligands. Moreover, the thermal behaviors and thermal decomposition kinetics were studied and analyzed. Besides, thermal stability and safety parameters（TsADT, Tb） are 164.7 and 166.4℃ for compound 1, and 149.6 and 150.8℃ for compound 2, respectively.

CS spray (2-chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile 5%w/v inmethyl isobutyl ketone) has been used by the police force in the UK as an incapacitant for nearly a decade. It causes a number of wellrecognized cutaneous reactions, which are generally regarded as short-lived. These include skin burning, erythema and blistering. However, a range of unpredictable cutaneous reactions to CS spray may also occur. We have found contact allergy, leukoderma, initiation or exacerbation of seborrhoeic dermatitis, and aggravation of rosacea following CS spray exposure in 6 police officers and 1 doorman. These skin reactions have required long-term changes in working practice for the affected individuals. Police officers may have repeated exposure to CS spray during their training and in their work, and designated police officers carry CS spray canisters daily in the line of duty. They may therefore be at greater risk of exposure to CS spray and its unintended effects than many *** exposure and symptoms of hand dermatitis in construction
