Physics-based seismic analysis of ancient wood structure:fault-to-structure simulation

Based on the domain reduction method,this study employs an SEM-FEM hybrid workflow which integrates the advantages of the spectral element method(SEM)for flexible and highly efficient simulation of seismic wave propagation in a three-dimensional(3D)regional-scale geophysics model and the finite element method(FEM)for fine simulation of structural response including soil-structure interaction,and performs a physics-based simulation from initial fault rupture on an ancient wood *** verification of the hybrid workflow,a large-scale model of an ancient wood structure in the Beijing area,The Tower of Buddhist Incense,is established and its responses under the 1665 Tongxian earthquake and the 1730 Yiheyuan earthquake are *** results from the simulated ground motion and seismic response of the wood structure under the two earthquakes demonstrate that this hybrid workflow can be employed to efficiently provide insight into the relationships between geophysical parameters and the structural response,and is of great significance toward accurate input for seismic simulation of structures under specific site and fault conditions.

Lacquer is the main raw material of lacquerware,while UV-irradiation is an important factor leading to its *** order to investigate the aging behavior of urushi lacquer film under UV-irradiation,and to propose parameters that can be used to evaluate its aging degree,the micro-UV/Py-GC/MS system has been applied in the present work to enrich and identify volatile products released by urushi film during aging on the one hand,and to investigate micro-amount and conventional urushi films with different aging degrees on the other hand,in addition,representative historical samples have also been *** products released by urushi film demonstrate that during UV-irradiation,polysaccharides wrapping urushiol polymer would be first degraded to generate furans and alcohols,and then urushiol polymer would undergo photo-oxidation and break of molecular chain,mainly generating oxidation products including aldehydes,organic acids,and ketones,as well as a small number of alkyl benzenes and ***-GC/MS analysis of micro-amount urushi films with different aging degrees indicates that UVirradiation is more destructive to aliphatic chains in urushiol polymer,but it also can accelerate the polymerization of microamount urushi ***-GC/MS analysis of conventional urushi films indicates that with the increase of aging degree,the total chromatographic peak area ratio of hydrocarbons to benzene derivatives gradually increases,the peak area ratio of 3-pentadecenyl-catechol to 3-pentadecyl-catechol gradually decreases,and the peak area ratio of aging products of urushiol to 3-pentadecyl-catechol gradually *** above parameters were further used to evaluate the aging degree of two urushicontained samples separately collected from the surface and interior of a carved lacquer panel in the Forbidden City,and evaluation results are in accord with the natural aging law and further verify the reliability of the proposed *** results of the pre

Biao Hu was one of the eight famous traditional crafts in the late Qing *** skill involved decorating the interiors of ancient buildings such as ceilings,walls,and windows and creating burial *** was primarily used for wooden buildings in northern China during the early Qing *** example,there is white-patterned wallpaper in the Forbidden City utilizing both traditional and nontraditional ***,there was wallpaper with a special pattern in the Lodge of the Bamboo Fragrance(Zhuxiang Guan).Its structure and composition were studied via morphological observations and spectral analyses,the pigments and dyes were analyzed by Raman spectroscopy and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrum(UPLC-MS).Traditional technology and exchanges between China and the West were discussed by the study of patterned wallpapers in other buildings of the Forbidden City.

Ⅱ型糖尿病以氧化应激增加和内皮功能紊乱为特征。二者在动脉粥样硬化性疾病发生和发展中起重要作用。短期动脉注射维生素C能增加Ⅱ型糖尿病患者内皮依赖的血管舒张反应,提示内皮功能障碍继发于氧化应激增加,可能原因为活性氧族如过氧化物阴离子阻断内皮来源的NO。为了解口服抗氧化剂能否降低Ⅱ型糖尿病患者氧化应激及改善内皮功能,我们研究一种新的类维生素E的水溶性抗氧化剂raxofelast在糖尿病及正常人中的作用。检测血浆8-epi-PGF2α浓度表示氧化应激,输注乙酰胆碱后血管的反应性表示内皮功能。

The association of metabolic syndrome(MS)with arterial compliance in children and adolescents was explored.337 subjects(188 men and 149 women)aged 6–18(10.95±3.01)years,out of“Beijing Child Metabolic Syndrome Study”,were divided into three case groups(one component,two components,three&more components of MS)and one control group based on the Cook’s MS definition in children and *** including anthropometry,blood pressure,fasting plasma glucose and insulin,serum lipid profile were *** model assessment for insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)index was calculated for estimating individual insulin *** compliance was measured using digital pulse wave analyzing method from the pulse trace machine(Micro medical,London),and then the stiffness index(SI)was *** mean value of SI in MS group was significant higher than that in control group[(7.69±1.63)vs(6.25±0.86)m/s,P<0.01].With the increase of the clustering of MS components,SI and HOMA-IR were gradually *** taking account of gender,age and pubertal development,the partial correlation analysis showed that the amount of components of MS and HOMA-IR were positively correlated with SI(both P values were less than 0.05).The arterial compliance of MS group was significantly lowered in children and adolescents,and with the increase of the clustering of MS components,arterial compliance was gradually *** was suggested that arterial compliance assessment in children and adolescents was important for early prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
