PM2.5 concentration prediction is of great significance to environmental protection and human *** accurate prediction of PM2.5 concentration has become an important research ***,PM2.5 pollutants can spread in the earth’s atmosphere,causing mutual influence between different *** effectively capture the air pollution relationship between cities,this paper proposes a novel spatiotemporal model combining graph attention neural network(GAT)and gated recurrent unit(GRU),named GAT-GRU for PM2.5 concentration ***,GAT is used to learn the spatial dependence of PM2.5 concentration data in different cities,and GRU is to extract the temporal dependence of the long-term data *** proposed model integrates the learned spatio-temporal dependencies to capture long-term complex spatio-temporal *** that air pollution is related to the meteorological conditions of the city,the knowledge acquired from meteorological data is used in the model to enhance PM2.5 prediction *** input of the GAT-GRU model consists of PM2.5 concentration data and meteorological *** order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed GAT-GRU prediction model,this paper designs experiments on real-world datasets compared with other *** results prove that our model achieves excellent performance in PM2.5 concentration prediction.

To reduce greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions,biomass has been increasingly developed as a renewable and clean alternative to fossil fuels because of its carbon-neutral *** has been investigating the rational development and use of bioenergy for developing its clean energy and achieving carbon *** fossil fuels with multi-source and multi-approach utilized bioenergy and corresponding carbon reduction in China remain largely ***,a comprehensive bioenergy accounting model with a multi-dimensional analysis was developed by combining spatial,life cycle,and multi-path ***,the bioenergy production potential and GHG emission reduction for each distinct type of biomass feedstock through different conversion pathways were *** sum of all available organic waste(21.55 EJ yr^(-1))and energy plants on marginal land(11.77 EJ yr^(-1))in China produced 23.30 EJ of bioenergy and reduced 2,535.32 Mt CO_(2)-eq emissions,accounting for 19.48%and 25.61%of China’s total energy production and carbon emissions in 2020,*** focusing on the carbon emission mitigation potential of substituting bioenergy for conventional counterparts,bioelectricity was the most effective,and its potential was 4.45 and 8.58 times higher than that of gaseous and liquid fuel alternatives,*** this study,life cycle emission reductions were maximized by a mix of bioenergy end uses based on biomass properties,with an optimal 78.56%bioenergy allocation from biodiesel,densified solid biofuel,biohydrogen,and *** main regional bioenergy GHG mitigation focused on the Jiangsu,Sichuan,Guangxi,Henan,and Guangdong provinces,contributing to 31.32%of the total GHG mitigation *** study provides valuable guidance on exploiting untapped biomass resources in China to secure carbon neutrality by 2060.

Batches experiments were carried out to study the removal potentials of Moringa oleifera seed presscake( MOSP),the residual solids of Moringa oleifera seed after oil extraction used as a natural coagulant for the removal of two direct azo dyes including Direct Red-31( DR-31) and Direct Yellow-12( DY-12). The results indicated that the MOSP contained active proteins which were active agents and efficient for the removal of the two dyes. Higher temperature and lower p H were favorable for dye removal. The removal rates of the two dyes increased with the increasing MOSP dosage. Inorganic salts improved the dye removal efficiencies by the salt-in effect that prompted the release of proteins from the MOSP particles. Suspended solid simulated by kaolin decreased the dye removal efficiencies because of the competition for active sites of the MOSP between the kaolin particles and the dye molecules. The most likely mechanism for the removal of the two dyes by using MOSP as coagulant was a combined effect of adsorption and neutralisation of charges and the nucleation of the MOSP particles. The results provide new insight into the MOSP utilization and development of new coagulant for dye removal.

An effective catalytic transfer hydrogenation (CTH) process of bio-based levulinate esters into γ-valerolactone (GVL) was explored over ternary Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst which was prepared by coprecipitation method and could be sustainably used. As a result, quantitative conversion of ethyl levulinate (EL) and 99.0% yield of GVL were obtained in the CTH process using i-PrOH as hydrogen donor. The Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst with high-surface-area could be reused at least four times without the loss of catalytic activity. Furthermore, the structure and properties of Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst was characterized through XRD, BET, SEM, TEM and H2-TPR. Also, the influence of different support oxides and calcination temperatures was investigated.

The ubiquitous occurrence of perfluorinated compounds(PFCs) in environmental samples has drawn much *** human exposure studies found relatively high perfluorooctane sulfonate(PFOS) concentrations in blood samples from several cities in China when compared with other *** objectives of the present study were:(1) to measure PFC concentrations and compositions in chicken egg samples from local markets in China;and(2) to conduct a preliminary human health risk assessment of egg *** pooled egg samples from eight locations were analyzed for 11 *** results showed that close to 100% of the PFOS in the egg was distributed in egg yolk and PFOS was not detected in egg white(<0.08 ng/g wet weight,w/w).Of the perfluoroalkylsulfonates,only PFOS was detected in all egg samples,while of the perfluoroalkylcarboxylates,perfluoroundecanoic acid(PFUnDA) was detected in all samples,followed by perfluorooctanoate(PFOA)(75% occurrence) and perfluorodecanoic acid(PFDA)(50% occurrence).PFOS concentrations in egg ranged from 45.0 to 86.9 ng/g w/*** results suggested that current concentrations of PFOS in domestic chicken eggs are unlikely to cause immediate harm to Chinese populations.

The spectral characteristics of air pollution gas sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide has been studied experimentally and theo-retically in the range of 0.2-2.6 THz. The gases absorption spectra of sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, as measured by terahertz Time-Domain Spectroscopy (THz-TDS) technique, show equi-spaced absorption peaks. The peak intervals are varied for different gas and may relate with the molecule structures and rotation modes. We have calculated the intervals of rotational transition frequency according to the gases molecule structure and the rotational modes. The results are consistent with experimental results which confirm the suggestion that the absorption is coming from the molecular rotational transition. The study suggests a technique to detect air pollutants by THz-TDS and the rotational modes of gas molecules.

Effect of current density on groundwater arsenite removal performance using air cathode electrocoagulation

Naturally occurring arsenic enrichment in groundwater poses a huge threat to human *** cathode electrocoagulation(ACEC)has recently been proposed to enhance As(Ⅲ)oxidation and lower energy *** this study,ACEC,EC/O_(2) and EC/N_(2) were evaluated with different current densities from 1 to 8 mA/cm^(2) to investigate the effect on As(Ⅲ)removal in different redox *** density had no appreciable effect on arsenic removal efficiency given the same charge in ACEC because the concentration ratio of Fe/H2O_(2) under different current densities remained ***,in EC/O_(2) and EC/N_(2),As(Ⅲ)removal was inhibited at higher current densities(4–8 mA/cm^(2)),likely because more Fe(Ⅱ)competed with As(Ⅲ)for the oxidant,leading to less effective oxidation of As(Ⅲ).In all EC systems,the$OH units generated per power consumption reached the highest value at the lowest current *** with other EC systems,the ACEC system showed lower energy consumption at all current densities due to the low energy consumption of the electrode reaction and more free radical generation.A lower current density saved more energy at the expense of time,showing the trade-off relationship between energy consumption and removal *** operation costs for As(Ⅲ)removal under optimal conditions were calculated as 0.028$/m^(3) for ACEC,0.030$/m^(3) for EC/O_(2),and 0.085$/m^(3) for EC/N_(2)
