Influence of ecological function protection zone on the water conservation in Gansu-Qinghai Contiguous Region of the upper Yellow River

The implementation of Ecological function Protection Zone(EFPZ)policy is significant for the ecological restoration and conservation of soil and water in the territory *** manuscript analyzed and quantified the impact of EFPZ on the regional water conservation function,based on land use data from 2005,2008,2010,2015 and 2020,by conducting a counterfactual simulation along with the GeoSOS-FLUS model and the InVEST *** results demonstrate that the delineation of EFPZ can significantly influence the water conservation.(1)From 2010 to 2020,as the EFPZ was implemented,the water conservation in the study area was increasing year by year,with a growth rate of 0.03×10^(8) m^(3)∙a^(-1).On the other hand,the simulated water conservation capacity without the implementation of EFPZ decreased year by year,with a decrease rate of 0.01×10^(8) m^(3)∙a^(-1).(2)The EFPZ accounts for only 23%of the total area,but the contribution rate of water conservation reaches 80%.The actual values of water conservation and average water yield per unit pixel in the EFPZ show an increasing trend both internally and externally,while the counterfactual simulation values exhibit a decreasing trend.(3)The water conservation is much higher within the EFPZ than without *** implementation of EFPZ has a significant effect on the improvement of the water conservation capacity in Maqu EFPZ and Yellow River Source *** protection effectiveness should be enhanced in Qilian Mountain EFPZ and afforestation activities need to be carefully considered in Loess Plateau EFPZ.

Image enhancement with intensity transformation on embedding space

In recent times,an image enhancement approach,which learns the global transformation function using deep neural networks,has gained ***,many existing methods based on this approach have a limitation:their transformation functions are too simple to imitate complex colour transformations between low-quality images and manually retouched high-quality *** order to address this limitation,a simple yet effective approach for image enhancement is *** proposed algorithm based on the channel-wise intensity transformation is ***,this transformation is applied to the learnt embedding space instead of specific colour spaces and then return enhanced features to *** this end,the authors define the continuous intensity transformation(CIT)to describe the mapping between input and output intensities on the embedding ***,the enhancement network is developed,which produces multi-scale feature maps from input images,derives the set of transformation functions,and performs the CIT to obtain enhanced *** experiments on the MIT-Adobe 5K dataset demonstrate that the authors’approach improves the performance of conventional intensity transforms on colour space ***,the authors achieved a 3.8%improvement in peak signal-to-noise ratio,a 1.8%improvement in structual similarity index measure,and a 27.5%improvement in learned perceptual image patch ***,the authors’algorithm outperforms state-of-the-art alternatives on three image enhancement datasets:MIT-Adobe 5K,Low-Light,and Google HDRþ.

Active regions' setting of the extracellular ligand-binding domain of human interleukin-6 receptor

The reliable three dimensional (3-D) structure of the extracellular ligand-binding domain (V106-P322) of human interleukin-6 receptor (hlL-6R) has been constructed by means of computer-guided homology modeling techniques using the crystal structure of the extracellular ligand-binding region (K52-L251) of human growth hormone receptor (hGHR) as templet. The space location of some key residues which influence the combination ability between the receptor and the ligand has been observed and the effects of point mutagenesis of the four conservative cysteine residues on the space conformation are analyzed. The results show that the space conformation of the side-chain carboxyl of E305 plays a key role in the ligand-binding ability. Furthermore, the space conformation of the side-chain carboxyl of E305 is very important for the electrostatic potential complementarity between hlL-6R and hlL-6 according to the docking method.

The title nickel complex （C34H3oCl2N2NiO4, Mr = 660.21） has been synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a = 11.026（8）, b = 11.491（8）, c = 12.119（9） A°, β=91.328（13）°, Z= 2, V= 1535.0（19） ,A°^3, Dc = 1.428 g/cm^3, F（000） = 684 andμ（MoKa） = 0.848 mm^-1 The structure was refined to R = 0.0544 for 1813 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I） and wR =0.0867 for 3132 unique reflections. The molecule of the complex is high symmetrical. Ni（Ⅱ） atom is located in the symmetric center and coordinated to two phenolic oxygen and two imino nitrogen atoms, forming two six-membered rings. Upon activation with methylaluminoxane （MAO）, it is active for ethylene oligomerization.

Dielectric and energy storage properties of PbO–SrO–Nb_(2)O_(5)–Na_(2)O–Si thin films by annealing

Dielectric and energy storage properties of PbOSrO-Na_(2)O-Nb_(2)O_(5)-SiO_(2)(PSNNS) thin films with annealing temperature from 700 to 850 ℃ were investigated by measuring their capacitance-electric filed curve and hysteresis *** results show that the highest dielectric constant and energy density are 81.2 and 17.0 J·cm^(-3),respectively,which is obtained in the sample with annealing temperature of 800 ℃.Annealed from 700 to800 ℃,the dielectric constant and energy storage performance of PSNNS films are continuously ***,with annealing temperature up to 850 ℃,their dielectric constant decreases,which might be related with the removal of interfacial defects as a function of annealing *** is one of the causes of space charge phenomenon,resulting in the increase in dielectric ***,the micro structure analysis by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscope(TEM) indicates that the change of crystallization phase and interfacial polarization takes responsibility to the results.

Aqueous-processed insulating polymer/nanocrystal solar cells with effective suppression of the leakage current and carrier recombination

As one of the most environmentally friendly photovoltaic(PV)conversion equipments,aqueousprocessed CdTe nanocrystal solar cells(NC SCs)have attracted great interest in recent years because of their excellent properties such as high charge-carrier mobility and broad ***,two issues including interfacial recombination and leakage current seriously restrict their *** this paper,insulating polymer poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)(PVP)is introduced into CdTe NC SCs to solve the *** experimental results of transmission electron microscopy(TEM),atomic force micro scopy(AFM)and dark current measurements,etc.,demonstrate the leakage current is effectively suppressed by introducing *** further designing device structure,the reduction of interfacial recombination after introducing PVP is *** strategically taking the advantages of PVP properties(e.g.,water solubility and thermostability),the power conversion efficiency of the devices with PVP is enhanced by almost 37%compared to pure CdTe *** work demonstrates an effective and low-cost method to fabricate NC SCs via aqueous ***,it also proves that appropriate content of insulating polymer is of beneficial in promoting the PV performance.

Rational design of a highly active N-glycosyltransferase mutant using fragment replacement approach

The modularity of carbohydrate-active enzymes facilitates that enzymes with different functions have similar ***,because of the complex structure of the enzyme active sites and the epistatic effects of various mutations on enzyme activity,it is difficult to design enzymes with multiple mutation sites using conventional *** this study,we designed multi-point mutants by fragment replacement in the donor-acceptor binding pocket of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae N-glycosyltransferase(ApNGT)to obtain novel *** fragments were selected from a customized glycosyltransferase *** stability and substrate-binding energy of the three fragment replacement mutants were calculated in comparison with wild-type ApNGT,and mutants with top-ranking stability and middle-ranking substrate-binding energy were chosen for priority experimental *** found that a mutant called F13,which increased the glycosylation efficiency of the natural substrate by 1.44 times,the relative conversion of UDP-galactose by 14.2 times,and the relative conversion of UDP-xylose from almost 0 to 78.6%.Most importantly,F13 mutant acquired an entirely new property,the ability to utilize UDP-glucuronic *** one hand,this work shows that replacing similar fragments in the donoracceptor binding pocket of the enzyme might provide new ideas for designing mutants with new properties;on the other hand,F13 mutant is expected to play an important role in targeted drug delivery.

The Short-Term Prediction ofWind Power Based on the Convolutional Graph Attention Deep Neural Network

The fluctuation of wind power affects the operating safety and power consumption of the electric power grid and restricts the grid connection of wind power on a large ***,wind power forecasting plays a key role in improving the safety and economic benefits of the power *** paper proposes a wind power predicting method based on a convolutional graph attention deep neural network with multi-wind farm *** on the graph attention network and attention mechanism,the method extracts spatial-temporal characteristics from the data of multiple wind ***,combined with a deep neural network,a convolutional graph attention deep neural network model is ***,the model is trained with the quantile regression loss function to achieve the wind power deterministic and probabilistic prediction based on multi-wind farm spatial-temporal data.A wind power dataset in the *** taken as an example to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed *** with the selected baseline methods,the proposed model achieves the best prediction *** point prediction errors(i.e.,root mean square error(RMSE)and normalized mean absolute percentage error(NMAPE))are 0.304 MW and 1.177%,*** the comprehensive performance of probabilistic prediction(i.e.,con-tinuously ranked probability score(CRPS))is ***,the significance of multi-wind farm data and spatial-temporal feature extraction module is self-evident.

The aim of this study was to determine the quality of rebar produced from recycled scrap metal collected throughout the country,and imported rebar sold in the Republic of *** do this,the samples were subjected to various mechanical tests involving traction,bending and microscopic *** the Lambanyi and Casse Sonfonia samples,all the tensile strength values for diameters 12,14 and 16 were above 550 ***,the iron samples from Baillobaye and the 10 mm diameters of the samples from Casse Sonfonio and Lambanyi have less appreciable *** limits of elasticity were *** various values found vary more or less from the conventional yield strength of the NF A35-016 reference supplied by CBITEC,which is 500 *** analysis gives us an insight into the internal structure of the iron samples *** study may provide the company and the vendors with an alternative for their improvements.

Density functional Theory Study on the Adsorption of HCNH and CNH_2 on Cu(100) Surface

The HCNH and CNH2 adsorption on different coordination sites of Cu（100） was theoretically studied considering the cluster approach. The present calculations show that the bridge site is the most favorite for CNH2 perpendicularly adsorbed on the Cu（100） surface via the C atom. For HCNH absorbed on the Cu（100） surface, the parallel adsorption mode with the C and N atoms nearly directly above the adjacent top sites of Cu（100） surface is the most favored. Both CNH2 and HCNH are strongly bound to the Cu（100） surface with CNH2 which is lightly stable （2.51 kJ·mol^-1）, indicating that both species may be co-adsorbed on the Cu（100） surface.
