This paper studies the economic environmental energy-saving day-ahead scheduling problem of power systems considering wind generation(WG)and demand response(DR)by means of multi-objective dynamic optimal power flow(MDOPF).Within the model,fuel cost,carbon emission and active power losses are taken as objectives,and an integrated dispatch modeof conventional coal-fired generation,WG and DRis *** corresponding solution process to the MDOPF is based on ahybrid of a non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II(NSGA-II)and fuwzy satisfaction-maximizing method,where NSGA-II obtains the Pareto frontier and the fuzzy satisfaction-maximizing method is the chosen *** cases of different scenarios are performed based on an IEEE 6-units\,30-nodes system,to verify the proposed model and the solution process,as well as the benefits obtained by the DR into power system.

We developed a novel rapid hygrothermal pasteurization (RHP) method using saturated water vapor with a dew point of 100℃. The aim of this paper is to compare the effect of RHP treatment versus conventional sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) treatments on inactivation of natural mesophilic bacteria and quality attributes on fruits and vegetables. The RHP treatment was performed within a second by free-falling samples (cabbage, cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, pineapple and melon) through cylindrical processing chamber filled with steam. NaClO treatment was performed by washing samples with NaClO solution (100 mg/mL of free chlorine (pH 7), for 1 min). The RHP treatment showed a significantly higher inactivation effect than NaClO treatment on all tested samples. The RHP treatment had a slightly larger influence on color and vitamin C content than NaClO treatment in cabbage. Furthermore, the effects of treatment time and operated temperature were also determined using microbial model system. Elongation of treatment time did not significantly increase the microbial inactivation effect. Lowering of operated temperature by mixing air into steam tended to decrease the inactivation effect. From these results, RHP treatment could be used as an alternative method for decontaminating microorganisms on fruits and vegetables, except on leafy vegetable. In addition, it is suggested that microbial inactivation by RHP treatment was achieved through the initial condensation stage of water vapor on sample surface. By contrast, interfusion of air disturbed the effective condensation of water vapor.

Certain plant species within the Apiales order accumulate triterpenoid saponins that feature a distinctive glucose-glucose-rhamnose(G-G-R)sugar chain attached at the C-28 position of the pentacyclic triterpene *** recently,the genomic basis underlying the biosynthesis and evolution of this sugar chain has remained *** this study,we identified two novel glycoside glycosyltransferases(GGTs)that can sequentially install the sugar chain’s second D-glucose and third L-rhamnose during the biosynthesis of asiaticoside and madecassoside,two representative G-G-R sugar chain-containing triterpenoid saponins produced by Centella *** assays revealed the remarkable substrate promiscuity of the two GGTs and the key residues crucial for sugar-donor selectivity of the glucosyltransferase and rhamnosyl*** further identified syntenic tandem gene duplicates of the two GGTs in the Apiaceae and Araliaceae families,suggesting a well-conserved genomic basis underlying sugar chain assembly that likely has evolved in the early ancestors of the Apiales ***,expression patterns of the two GGTs in pierced leaves of *** were found to be correlated with the production of asiaticoside and madecassoside,implying their involvement in host defense against herbivores and *** work sheds light on the biosynthesis and evolution of complex saponin sugars,paving the way for future engineering of diverse bioactive triterpenoids with unique glycoforms.

A cone-shaped gadolinium doped ceria（Ce0.9Gd0.1O1.95,GDC） electrolyte cylinder with a thin wall was fabricated using slip cast-ing *** diameter of the larger open end of the cone-shaped cylinder was 0.85 cm,the length was 1.0 cm,and the thickness of the wall was 0.026 cm after *** the electrolyte and electrode powders were fabricated by using a glycine-nitrate process.A single solid oxide fuel cell（SOFC） was prepared with the cone-shaped electrolyte,NiO-GDC（70：30 wt.%） anode and Sm0.5Sr0.5CoO3（SSC） *** electrochemical performance（I-V curve） and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） were studied with humidified hydrogen as the fuel and air as the *** maximum output power density was about 300 ？mW/cm2 at 700 *** EIS results showed that the dominant loss of the SOFC was from the ohmic resistance of the electrolyte.

A strategy for water and wastewater minimization is developed for continuous water utilization systems involving fixed flowrate(non-mass-transfer-based)operations,based on the fictitious operations that is introduced to represent the water losing and/or generating operations and a modified concentration interval analysis(MCIA) *** strategy is a simple,nongraphical,and noniterative procedure and is suitable for the quick yields of targets and the identification of pinch point ***,on the basis of the target method,a heuristic-based approach is also presented to generate water utilization networks,which could be demonstrated to be optimum ones. The proposed approaches are illustrated with example problems.

This work focuses on the relationship between flexibility of molecular chains and thermal properties of polyurethane elastomer（PUE）, which laid the foundation of further research about how to improve thermal properties of PUE. A series of PUE samples with different flexibility of molecular chains was prepared by using 1,4-butanediol（1,4-BDO）/bisphenol-a（BPA） blends with different mole ratios including9/1, 8/2, 7/3, 6/4 and 5/5. As comparison, PUE extended with pure 1,4-BDO and BPA was also *** samples were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry（DSC）, thermogravimetric analysis（TGA）, dynamic mechanical analysis（DMA）, etc. The results showed that with the decrease in flexibility of molecular chains the glass transition temperature（Tg） increased and low-temperature properties became worse. Besides, all samples had a certain degree of microphase separation, and soft segments in some samples were crystallized, i.e. the decreasing flexibility of molecular chains led to the impossibility of chains tightly packing and crystalline domains forming so that the degree of microphase separation decreased and the thermal properties became worse.

A pilot-scale,pre-anoxic-anaerobic oxidation ditch was used in this study to treat municipal wastewater with limited carbon source.A novel return activated sludge(RAS) pre-concentration tank was adopted for improv-ing the phosphorus removal efficiency and the effects of RAS pre-concentration ratio were *** the opti-mal operational condition,the suspended total phosphorus(STP) and the total phosphorus(TP) removal efficiencies were around 58.9% and 63.9% respectively and the effluent-P was lower than 0.8 mg·*** reason is that with the optimal RAS pre-concentration ratio,nitrate is completely removed with endogenous carbon source and the secondary phosphorus release is strictly restrained in the pre-anoxic ***,the anaerobic phosphorus release and the carbon source uptake by phosphorus accumulation organisms(PAOs) in the sludge,which are ex-tremely important to the phosphorus removal process,can be fully ***,the oxidation-reduction potential is proved to be suitable for controlling the RAS pre-concentration ratio due to influent fluctuation and varied *** novel modified system is also beneficial for PAO accumulation.
