The effective acquisition of hydrogen energy from the ocean offers a promising sustainable solution for increasing global energy ***,a self-powered high-efficient hydrogen generation system is proposed by integrating a triboelectric–electromagnetic hybrid nanogenerator(TEHG),power management circuit(PMC),and an electrolytic *** the wind triggering,as-fabricated TEHG can effectively convert breeze energy into electric energy,which demonstrates a high output current of 20.3 mA at a speed rotation of 700 rpm and the maximal output power of 13.8 mW at a load of 10 MΩ.Remarkably,asdesigned self-powered system can perform a steady and continuous water splitting to produce hydrogen(1.5μL·min^(−1))by adding a matching capacitor between the PMC and electrolytic *** the circuit,the capacitor can not only function as a charge compensation source for water splitting,but also stabilize the working *** other self-powered water splitting systems,the proposed system does not need catalysts or the complex electrical energy storage/release process,thus improving the hydrogen production efficiency and reducing the *** work provides an effective strategy for clean hydrogen energy production and demonstrates the huge potential of the constructed self-powered system toward carbon neutralization.

As one promising carbon-based material,sp^(3)-hybrid carbon nitride has been predicted with various novel physicochemical ***,the synthesis of sp^(3)-hybrid carbon nitride is still limited by the nanaoscale,low crystallinity,complex source,and expensive ***,we have presented a facile approach to the sp^(3)-hybrid carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals with microwave-assisted confining growth and liquid ***,the carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals can spontaneously emerge and grow in the microwave-assisted polymerization of citric acid and urea,and the liquid exfoliation can break the bulk disorder polymer to retrieve the highly crystalline carbon nitride nano/*** obtained carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals present superior blue light absorption strength and surprising photoluminescence quantum yields of 57.96%in ethanol and 18.05%in solid *** experimental characterizations and density functional theory calculations reveal that the interface-trapped localized exciton may contribute to the excellent intrinsic light emission capability of carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals and the interparticle staggered stacking will prevent the aggregation-caused-quenching ***,the carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals are demonstrated to be potentially useful as the phosphor medium in light-emitting-diode for interrupting blue light-induced eye *** work paves new light on the synthesis strategy of sp^(3)-hybrid carbon nitride materials and thus may push forward the development of multiple carbon nitride research.

Imaging objects hidden behind turbid media is of great scientific importance and practical value, which has been drawing a lot of attention recently. However, most of the scattering imaging methods rely on a narrow linewidth of light, limiting their application. A mixture of the scattering light from various spectra blurs the detected speckle pattern, bringing difficulty in phase retrieval. Image reconstruction becomes much worse for dynamic objects due to short exposure times. We here investigate non-invasively recovering images of dynamic objects under white-light irradiation with the multi-frame OTF retrieval engine (MORE). By exploiting redundant information from multiple measurements, MORE recovers the phases of the optical-transfer-function (OTF) instead of recovering a single image of an object. Furthermore, we introduce the number of non-zero pixels (NNP) into MORE, which brings improvement on recovered images. An experimental proof is performed for dynamic objects at a frame rate of 20 Hz under white-light irradiation of more than 300 nm bandwidth.

Ultraviolet position-sensitive detectors(PSDs)are expected to undergo harsh environments,such as high temperatures,for a wide variety of applications in military,civilian,and ***,no report on relevant PSDs operating at high temperatures can be found up to ***,we design a new 2D/3D graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))/gallium nitride(GaN)hybrid heterojunction to construct the ultraviolet high-temperature-resistant *** g-C_(3)N_(4)/GaN PSD exhibits a high position sensitivity of 355 mV mm^(-1),a rise/fall response time of 1.7/2.3 ms,and a nonlinearity of 0.5%at room *** ultralow formation energy of-0.917 eV atom^(-1)has been obtained via the thermodynamic phase stability calculations,which endows g-C_(3)N_(4)with robust stability against *** merits of the strong built-in electric field of the 2D/3D hybrid heterojunction and robust thermo-stability of g-C_(3)N_(4),the g-C_(3)N_(4)/GaN PSD delivers an excellent position sensitivity and angle detection nonlinearity of 315 mV mm^(-1)and 1.4%,respectively,with high repeatability at a high temperature up to 700 K,outperforming most of the other counterparts and even commercial silicon-based *** work unveils the high-temperature PSD,and pioneers a new path to constructing g-C_(3)N_(4)-based harsh-environment-tolerant optoelectronic devices.

Phase transition generates rapid changes of transport parameters and poor mechanical property,and thus restricts the application of thermoelectric ***_(2) exhibits cubic phase at above 580 K with high-symmetry structure and low lattice thermal conductivity,indicating the potentiality of high thermoelectric *** this work,the cubic structure of AgBiSe_(2) was achieved at ambient conditions by alloying with PbS,enhancing the configurational entropy at both cationic and anionic *** cubic structure was rather stable after several measurement *** substitution at cationic sites effectively reduced band gap,and increased both carrier concentration and effective *** samples exhibited relatively low lattice thermal conductivity(0.68-0.34 W/(m·K))in the temperature range of 300-773 K,due to the nanoscale inhomogeneity and the random distribution of multiple species at some atomic sites.A maximum zT of 0.65 at 773 K was obtained for(Ag_(0.99)Nb_(0.01)BiSe_(2))_(0.8)(PbS)_(0.2) *** entropy-driven structural stabilization is a promising strategy to achieve stable structure for practical thermoelectric applications.

Zn based electrochemical energy storage systems(EES)have attracted tremendous interests owing to their low cost and high intrinsic ***,the uncontrolled growth of Zn dendrites and the side reactions of Zn metal anodes(ZMAs)severely restrict their *** address these issues,we design the asymmetric Zn-N_(4) atomic sites embedded hollow fibers(AS-IHF)as the flexible host for stable *** introducing different nitrogen resources in the synthesis,two kinds of coordination,i,***-N(pyridinic)and Zn-N(pyrrolic),are introduced in the Zn-N_(4) atomic module *** asymmetric Zn-N_(4) module with regulated micro-environment facilitates the superior zincophilic features and promotes the Zn ***,the highly porous structure of the hollow fiber effectively reduces local current density,homogenize Zn ion flux,and alleviate structure *** the advantages endow the high efficiency and good stability for Zn plating/*** theoretical and experimental results demonstrate the high reversibility,low nucleation overpotential,and dendritefree behavior of the AS-IHF@Zn anode,which afford the high stability in high-rate and long-term ***,the solid-state Zn-ion hybrid capacitor(ZIHC)based on AS-IHF@Zn anode shows the high flexibility,reliability,and superior long-term cycling capability in a wide-range of temperatures(-20-25℃).Therefore,the present work not only gives a new strategy for modulating local environments of single atomic sites,but also propels the development of flexible power sources for diverse electronics.

Manufacturing thin-film components is crucial for achieving high-efficiency and high-power thermal batteries (TBs).However,developing binders with low-gas production at the operating temperature range of TBs (400-550℃)has proven to be a significant ***,we report the use of acrylic acid derivative terpolymer (LA136D) as a low-volatile binder for thin-film cathode fabrication and studied the chain scission and chemical bondbreaking mechanisms in pyrolysis.

Lithium sulfur(Li-S)battery is a kind of burgeoning energy storage system with high energy ***,the electrolyte-soluble intermediate lithium polysulfides(Li PSs)undergo notorious shuttle effect,which seriously hinders the commercialization of Li-S ***,a unique VSe_(2)/V_(2)C heterostructure with local built-in electric field was rationally engineered from V_(2)C parent via a facile thermal selenization *** exquisitely synergizes the strong affinity of V_(2)C with the effective electrocatalytic activity of VSe_(2).More importantly,the local built-in electric field at the heterointerface can sufficiently promote the electron/ion transport ability and eventually boost the conversion kinetics of sulfur *** Li-S battery equipped with VSe_(2)/V_(2)C-CNTs-PP separator achieved an outstanding initial specific capacity of 1439.1 m A h g^(-1)with a high capacity retention of 73%after 100 cycles at0.1 *** impressively,a wonderful capacity of 571.6 mA h g^(-1)was effectively maintained after 600cycles at 2 C with a capacity decay rate of 0.07%.Even under a sulfur loading of 4.8 mg cm^(-2),areal capacity still can be up to 5.6 m A h cm^(-2).In-situ Raman tests explicitly illustrate the effectiveness of VSe_(2)/V_(2)C-CNTs modifier in restricting Li PSs *** with density functional theory calculations,the underlying mechanism of VSe_(2)/V_(2)C heterostructure for remedying Li PSs shuttling and conversion kinetics was *** strategy of constructing VSe_(2)/V_(2)C heterocatalyst in this work proposes a universal protocol to design metal selenide-based separator modifier for Li-S ***,it opens an efficient avenue for the separator engineering of Li-S batteries.
