To enhance the DC electrical performance of cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE),the graftable antioxidant methacrylic acid 2-hydroxy-3-(4-anilinoanilino)propyl ester(GA),which contains carbonyl and amino groups,and the crosslinking coagent trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate(TMPTMA),which contains carbonyl groups,are individually or co-grafted onto *** slightly higher deep trap density introduced by higher grafting concentration of TMPTMA results in more significant suppression effect of conductance current and enhanced breakdown strength at a lower temperature,while the suppression effect for the conductance current at 90°C becomes weakened due to limited trap ***,the deeper energy level introduced by GA suppresses the conductance current and improves the electrical strength of XLPE at 90°C more *** co-grafting,the conductance current of XLPE in a wide range temperature can be significantly reduced,especially for the temperature dependence of conductance current,which is beneficial to suppress the field strength *** results of thermally stimulated current and molecular simulation show that the polar groups of two monomers introduce deep charge traps in *** co-grafting system ensures the rationality of the crosslinking reaction kinetics and does not affect the cable manufacturing.

Owing to advanced power electronic and electrical applications developing towards miniaturisation and integration,the thickness-dependent DC breakdown mechanism of epoxy/multiwall-carbon-nanotube nanocomposites is under *** results indicate that the breakdown strength of nanocomposites containing 0.05 wt%multiwall-carbon-nanotubes rises by~18%,and the breakdown strength falls exponentially with increasing *** clarify the microscopic mechanism,a simulation model of DC breakdown,including carriers transport and segmental dynamics,is developed,and the accordant simulation results with experimental results indicate that the thickness-dependent DC breakdown of epoxy/multiwall-carbon-nanotube nanocomposites is determined both by segment chain dynamics and charge *** to the breakdown model analysis,the effects of multiwall-carbon-nanotube on enhanced breakdown strength are caused by the increased amount of deep traps in the interfacial region,while the influence of thickness is attributed to the enlarged segment chain displacement and electric field distortion as the voltage raising time increases.

Oil-paper insulation material is an essential component for oil-filled transformers,and polyimide(PI)insulation paper is a novel material in the field of *** improvement of insulation class for insulation paper has gained significant attention in recent *** this study,SiO_(2)nanoparticles were modified with a silane coupling agent(KH550),and the KH550-SiO_(2)was added to the fibre membrane through in situ *** chemical composition and microcosmic characteristics of the PI porous fibre membrane were characterised using FT-IR and SEM FT-IR and ***-quently,the dielectric constant of the composite paper was reduced to 2.3 upon adding 3 wt%of KH550-SiO_(2),and the dielectric strength reached its maximum value of 85 kV/*** results demonstrate that the insulation performance of the KH550-SiO_(2)/PI composite was significantly improved due to the incorporation of nano-SiO_(2).This establishes an efficient approach for achieving excellent electrical and thermal properties in practical applications using the KH550-SiO_(2)/PI fibre membrane.

Nanocomposite films consisting of carboxymethyl cellulose,polyethylene oxide(CMC/PEO),and anatase titanium diox-ide(TO)were produced by the use of sol-gel and solution casting ***2 nanocrystals were effectively incorporated into CMC/PEO polymers,as shown by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and attenuated total reflectance fourier transform infrared(ATR-FTIR)*** roughness growth is at high levels of TO nanocrystals(TO NCs),which means increasing active sites and defects in CMC/*** differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)thermograms,the change in glass transition temperature(Tg)val-ues verifies that the polymer blend interacts with TO *** increment proportions of TO NCs have a notable impact on the dielectric performances of the nanocomposites,as *** electrical properties of the CMC/PEO/TO nanocomposite undergo significant *** nanocomposite films exhibit a red alteration in the absorption edge as the concentration of TO NCs increases in the polymer *** decline in the energy gap is readily apparent as the weight percentage of TO NCs *** photoluminescence(PL)emission spectra indicate that the sites of the luminescence peak maximums show slight variation;peaks get wider,while their intensities decrease dramatically as the concentration of TO *** nanocomposite materials show potential for multifunctional applications including optoelectronics,antireflection coatings,pho-tocatalysis,light emitting diodes,and solid polymer electrolytes.

The haloscope based on the TM_(010)mode cavity is a well-established technique for detecting QCD ***,the method has limitations in detecting high-mass axion due to significant volume loss in the high-frequency *** a higher-order mode cavity can effectively reduce the volume loss of the high-frequency *** rotatable dielectric pieces as a tuning mechanism can compensate for the degradation of the form factor of the higher-order ***,the introduction of dielectric causes additional volume *** address these issues,this paper proposes a novel design scheme by adding a central metal rod to the higher-order mode cavity tuned by dielectrics,which improves the performance of the haloscope due to the increased effective volume of the cavity *** superiority of the novel design is demonstrated by comparing its simulated performance with previous ***,the feasibility of the scheme is verified by the full-wave simulation results of the mechanical design model.

Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with the“double-high”characteristics of high energy density and high power density are in urgent demand for facilitating the development of advanced portable ***,the lithium ion(Li+)-storage performance of the most commercialized lithium cobalt oxide(LiCoO_(2),LCO)cathodes is still far from satisfactory in terms of high-voltage and fast-charging capabilities for reaching the double-high ***,we systematically summarize and discuss high-voltage and fast-charging LCO cathodes,covering in depth the key fundamental challenges,latest advancements in modification strategies,and future perspectives in this *** and elaborated discussions are first presented on key fundamental challenges related to structural degradation,interfacial instability,the inhomogeneity reactions,and sluggish interfacial *** provide an instructive summary of deep insights into promising modification strategies and underlying mechanisms,categorized into element doping(Li-site,cobalt-/oxygen-site,and multi-site doping)for improved Li+diffusivity and bulkstructure stability;surface coating(dielectrics,ionic/electronic conductors,and their combination)for surface stability and conductivity;nanosizing;combinations of these strategies;and other strategies(i.e.,optimization of the electrolyte,binder,tortuosity of electrodes,charging protocols,and prelithiation methods).Finally,forward-looking perspectives and promising directions are sketched out and insightfully elucidated,providing constructive suggestions and instructions for designing and realizing high-voltage and fast-charging LCO cathodes for next-generation double-high LIBs.

Silicon carbide(SiC)is widely used to improve the non-linear conductivity of non-linear resistive field grading *** this paper,the SiC nanoparticles are modified into core-shell nanoparticles with silica(SiO_(2))coating on the surface and are characterised by transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction,*** 7 wt%SiC@SiO_(2)/epoxy nanocomposite is then prepared,and the pure epoxy and 7 wt%SiC/epoxy nanocomposite are prepared as a *** relative permittivity,thermally stimulated current,conductivity and breakdown strength are studied,*** presence of SiO_(2)shell around SiC nanoparticles has a great effect on the relative permittivity and trap *** epoxy nanocomposites show non-linear conductivity characteristics,compared with pure *** 7 wt%SiC@SiO_(2)/epoxy nanocomposite has higher switching electric field and breakdown strength than the 7 wt%SiC/epoxy nanocomposite,which is helpful for the application of non-linear resistive field grading composite in higher-voltage equipment or components.

Lithium-ion batteries（LIBs） with the ‘‘double-high” characteristics of high energy density and high power density are in urgent demand for facilitating the development of advanced portable electronics. However,the lithium ion（Li+）-storage performance of the most commercialized lithium cobalt oxide（LiCoO2, LCO）cathodes is still far from satisfactory in terms of high-voltage and fast-charging capabilities for reaching the double-high target. Herein, we systematically summarize and discuss high-voltage and fast-charging LCO cathodes, covering in depth the key fundamental challenges, latest advancements in modification strategies, and future perspectives in this field. Comprehensive and elaborated discussions are first presented on key fundamental challenges related to structural degradation, interfacial instability, the inhomogeneity reactions, and sluggish interfacial kinetics. We provide an instructive summary of deep insights into promising modification strategies and underlying mechanisms, categorized into element doping（Li-site, cobalt-/oxygen-site, and multi-site doping） for improved Li+diffusivity and bulkstructure stability; surface coating（dielectrics, ionic/electronic conductors, and their combination） for surface stability and conductivity; nanosizing; combinations of these strategies; and other strategies（i.e., optimization of the electrolyte, binder, tortuosity of electrodes, charging protocols, and prelithiation methods）. Next generation power system needs dielectrics with increased dielectric energy ***,the low energy density of dielectrics limits their ***,an asymmetric trilayered nanocomposite,with a transition layer(TL),an insulation layer(IL),and a polarization layer(PL),is designed based on poly(vinylidene fluoride)-polymethyl methacrylate(PVDF-PMMA)matrix using KNbO_(3)(KN)and TiO_(2)(TO)as the *** morphology and defect control of the two-dimensional nano KN and nano TO fillers are realized via a hydrothermal method to increase the composite breakdown strength(E_(b))and the composite energy density(U_(e)).The asymmetric trilayered structure leads to a gradient electric field distribution,and the KN and TO nanosheets block charges transfer along z *** a result,the development path of the electrical trees is greatly curved,and E_(b) is effectively *** the Ue value of the nanocomposites reaches 17.79 J·cm^(-3) at 523 MV·m^(-1).On the basis,the composite Ue is further improved by defect control in TO *** nanocomposite KN/TO/PVDF-PMMA containing TO with less oxygen vacancy concentration(calcined at oxygen atmosphere)acquires a high Ue of 21.61 J·cm^(-3) at 548 MV·m^(-1).This study provides an idea for improving the energy storage performance by combining the design of the composite dielectric structure and the control of nanofillers’defect and morphology.
