The stem cell pre-treatment approaches at cellular and sub-cellular levels encompass physical manipulation of stem cells to growth factor treatment,genetic manipulation,and chemical and pharmacological treatment,each strategy having advantages and *** of these pre-treatment protocols are *** editorial is a continuum of Li et al’s published article and Wan et al’s editorial focusing on the significance of pre-treatment strategies to enhance their stemness,immunoregulatory,and immunosuppressive *** have elaborated on the intricacies of the combinative pre-treatment protocol using pro-inflammatory cytokines and *** a well-defined multi-pronged combinatorial strategy of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs),pre-treatment based on the mechanistic understanding is expected to develop“Super MSCs”,which will create a transformative shift in MSC-based therapies in clinical settings,potentially revolutionizing the *** optimized,the standardized protocols may be used with slight modifications to pre-treat different stem cells to develop“super stem cells”with augmented stemness,functionality,and reparability for diverse clinical applications with better outcomes.

In this paper,Support Vector Machine(SVM)and K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN)based methods are to be applied on fault diagnosis in a robot manipulator.A comparative study between the two classiﬁers in terms of successfully detecting and isolating the seven classes of sensor faults is considered in this *** both classiﬁers,the torque,the position and the speed of the manipulator have been employed as the input ***,it is to mention that a large database is needed and used for the training and testing *** SVM method used in this paper is based on the Gaussian kernel with the parametersγand the penalty margin parameter“C”,which were adjusted via the PSO algorithm to achieve a maximum accuracy *** were carried out on the model of a Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm(SCARA)robot manipulator,and the results showed that the Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)increased the per-formance of the SVM algorithm with the 96.95%accuracy while the KNN algo-rithm achieved a correlation up to 94.62%.These results showed that the SVM algorithm with PSO was more precise than the KNN algorithm when was used in fault diagnosis on a robot manipulator.

The transient growth due to non-normMity is investigated for the Poiseuille- Rayleigh-Benard problem of binary fluids with the Soret effect. For negative separation factors such as ψ = -0.1, it is found that a large transient growth can be obtained by the non-normal interaction of the two least-stable-modes, i.e., the upstream and downstream modes, which determine the linear critical boundary curves for small Reynolds numbers. The transient growth is so strong that the optimal energy amplification factor G（t） is up to 10^2 - 10^3. While for positive separation factors such as ψ = 0.1, the transient growth is weak with the order O（I） of the amplification factor, which can even be computed by the least-stable-mode. However, for both cases, the least-stable-mode can govern the long-term behavior of the amplification factor for large time. The results also show that large Reynolds numbers have stabilization effects for the maximum amplification within moderate wave number regions. Meanwhile, much small negative or large positive separation factors and large Rayleigh numbers can enlarge the maximum transient growth of the pure streamwise disturbance with the wavenumber α= 3.14. Moreover, the initial and evolutionary two-dimensional spatial patterns of the large transient growth for the pure streamwise disturbance are exhibited with a plot of the velocity vector, spanwise vorticity, temperature, and concentration field. The initial three-layer cell vorticity struc- ture is revealed. When the amplification factor reaches the maximum Gmax, it develops into one cell structure with large amplification for the vorticity strength.

Building on the pioneering work of Jean-Marie Andre and working in the laboratory he founded, the authors have developed a code called FT-1D to make Hartree-Fock electronic structure computations for stereoregular polymers using Ewald-type con- vergence acceleration methods. That code also takes full advantage of all line-group symmetries to calculate only the minimal set of two-electron integrals and to optimize the computation of the Fock matrix. The present communication reports a bench- mark study of the FT-1D code using polytetrafluoroethylene （PTFE） as a test case. Our results not only confirm the algorith- mic correctness of the code through agreement with other studies where they are applicable, but also show that the use of con- vergence acceleration enables accurate results to be obtained in situations where other widely-used codes （e.g., PLH and Crys- tal） fail. It is also found that full attention to the line-group symmetry of the PTFE polymer leads to an increase of between one and two orders of magnitude in the speed of computation. The new code can therefore be viewed as extending the range of electronic-structure computations for stereoregular polymers beyond the present scope of the successful and valuable code Crystal.

A new control scheme for induction motors is proposed in the present paper, applying the interconnection and damping assignment-passivity based control （IDA-PBC） method. The scheme is based exclusively on passivity based control, without restricting the input frequency as it is done in field oriented control （FOC）. A port-controlled Hamiltonian （PCH） model of the induction motor is deduced to make the interconnection and damping of energy explicit on the scheme. The proposed controller is validated under computational simulations and experimental tests using an inverter prototype.

We study S-wave solutions of the Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau （DKP） equation in the presence of a hyperbolical potential in （1＋3）-dimensional space-time for spin-one particles. The exact analytical Nikiforov-Uvarov （NU） method is used in the calculations to obtain the eigenfunctions and the corresponding eigenvalues. Some figures and numerical values are included to give a better insight to the solutions.

The main purpose of this paper is to explore the influence of predation on the spread of a disease developed in the prey population where we assume that the prey has a social *** memory of the prey and the predator measured by the time fractional derivative plays a crucial role in modeling the dynamical response in a predator–prey *** memory can be modeled to articulate the involvement of interacting species by the presence of the time fractional derivative in the considered *** the purpose of studying the complex dynamics generated by the presence of infection and the time-fractional-derivative we split our study into two cases. The first one is devotedto study the effect of a non-selective hunting on the spread of the disease, where the localstability of the equilibria is investigated. Further the backward bifurcation is obtainedconcerning basic reproduction rate of the infection. The second case is for explaining theimpact of selecting the weakest infected prey on the edge of the herd by a predator onthe prevalence of the infection, where the local behavior is scrutinized. Moreover, for thegraphical representation part, a numerical simulation scheme has been achieved usingthe Caputo fractional derivative operator.

Heroin is considered as damage on the health of the *** this paper,we consider a heroin epidemic model with treat age,where the inner rivalry in between the drug users for a small dose of drugs is *** influence of treatment period for a drug consumer before quitting treatment is investigated,where it is obtained that the considered model can undergo backward bifurcation,which shows the possibility of having two endemic equilibriums,this type of bifurcation is discussed in terms of the basic reproduction number *** bifurcation diagram is drown in the case of an age structured ***,we show the existence of Hopf bifurcation is shown under suitable conditions on the model *** obtained mathematical results are confirmed numerically.

We propose finite-volume schemes for the Cahn-Hilliard equation which unconditionally and discretely preserve the boundedness of the phase field and the dissipation of the free *** numerical framework is applicable to a variety of free-energy potentials,including Ginzburg-Landau and Flory-Huggins,to general wetting boundary conditions,and to degenerate *** central thrust is the upwind methodology,which we combine with a semi-implicit formulation for the freeenergy terms based on the classical convex-splitting *** extension of the schemes to an arbitrary number of dimensions is straightforward thanks to their dimensionally split nature,which allows to efficiently solve higher-dimensional problems with a simple *** numerical schemes are validated and tested through a variety of examples,in different dimensions,and with various contact angles between droplets and substrates.
