The Aviation Technology Two-Sided matching with the Expected Time Based on the Probabilistic Linguistic Preference Relations

The two-sided matching has been widely applied to the decision-making problems in the field of *** the limited working experience,the two-sided agents usually cannot provide the preference order directly for the opposite agent,but rather to provide the preference relations in the form of linguistic *** preference relations based on probabilistic linguistic term sets(PLTSs)not only allowagents to provide the evaluation with multiple linguistic terms,but also present the different preference degrees for linguistic *** the diversities of the agents,they may provide their preference relations in the form of the probabilistic linguistic preference relation(PLPR)or the probabilistic linguistic multiplicative preference relation(PLmPR).For two-sided matching with the expected time,we first provide the concept of the time satisfaction degree(TSD).Then,we transform the preference relations in different forms into the unified preference relations(u-PRs).The consistency index to measure the consistency of u-PRs is ***,the acceptable consistent u-PRs are constructed,and an algorithm is proposed to modify the unacceptable consistent ***,we present the whole two-sided matching decisionmaking process with the acceptable consistent ***,a case about aviation technology suppliers and demanders matching is presented to exhibit the rationality and practicality of the proposed *** analyses and discussions are provided to further demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Objective: To investigate the effects of Shengmai Injection(生脉注射液, SmI) on the proliferation, apoptosis and N-myc downstream-regulated gene 2(NDRG2, a tumour suppressor gene) expression in varying densities of human hepatic stellate cells LX-2. methods: LX-2 cells were cultured in vitro. Then, cells were plated in 96-well plates at an approximate density of 2.5×10~4 cells/mL and cultured for 48, 72, 96 or 120 h followed by the application of different concentrations of SmI(0.6, 1.2, 2.4, 4.8 or 6 μL/mL). Cell proliferation was measured after an additional 24 or 48 h using the 3(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(mTT) assay. The effects of SmI on different cell growth states(cultured for 48, 72, 96, or 120 h) were observed by light microscopy at 24 h after treatment. When the cells reached 80% confluence, apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry after 24 h. Lastly, LX-2 cells were treated with different concentrations of SmI and extracted with protein lysis buffer. The levels of NDRG2 were measured by Western blot. Results: When the LX-2 cells grew for 48, 72, 96 and 120 h, 4.8 and 6 μL/m L of SmI significantly inhibited cell proliferation at 24 and 48 h after treatment(PmL of SmI also inhibited cell proliferation at 24 h after treatment when cell growth for 48 h(Pment when cell growth for 72, 96 and 120 h(Pll was significantly increased when treated with SmI at concentrations of 1.2, 2.4, 4.8 or 6 μL/mL(PmI on the proliferation of LX-2 cells were related to not only concentration dependent but also cell density. In addition, SmI(2.4, 4.8 and 6 μL/mL) could accelerate apoptosis in LX-2 cells, and the mechanism might be associated with NDRG2 over-expression.

While the benefits of computer mediated group collaboration are proven, increasing the effectiveness of the teams using them is an ongoing process. Building trust is vital to group collaboration and decision making. Risk, benefit, utility value, interest, power and effort are six factors that influence individual trust development. This paper introduces two new approaches, Scale Balance model and Trust Spider Diagram, to help investigate individual trust development over time in facilitated group collaboration. A longitudinal case study was used to investigate individual trust development based on a year long student project. Survey data was collected at three points throughout the year and the results analysed using the two approaches. Each approach has its strengths and weaknesses.

Levels of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Healthcare Waste Incinerators’ Bottom Ash from Five County Hospitals in Kenya

Health-care waste contains potentially harmful microorganisms and compounds which can infect and affect hospital patients, healthcare workers, the general public and environment. Therefore, management of health care waste requires safe handling, treatment and disposal procedures. While incineration reduces the volume and quantity of waste for final disposal, it leads to the production of fly and bottom ashes laden with toxic incomplete combustion products such as Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), dioxins, furans and heavy metals. This exposes workers who handle and dispose the bottom ashes, hospital patients, the general public and environment. The goal of this study was to determine the total and individual levels of 16 most prevalent and toxic PAHs. Bottom ash samples were collected from incinerators in five county hospitals in Kenya, namely;moi-Voi, Narok, Kitale, makindu and Isiolo. Bottom ash samples were collected over a period of six months from the five hospitals. The samples were then sieved, homogenised and stored at 4°C in amber coloured glass containers. The PAHs were extracted using 30 ml of a hexane-acetone solvent (1:1) mixture by ultrasonication at room temperature (23°C) for 45 minutes. The PAHs were then analyzed with a GC-mS spectrophotometer model (Shimadzu GCmS-QP2010 SE) connected to a computer work station was used for the PAHs analysis. The GC-mS was equipped with an SGE BPX5 GC capillary column (30 m × 0.25 mm × 0.25 μm) for the separation of compounds. Helium was used as the carrier gas at a flow rate of 15.5 ml/minute and 14.5 psi. 1 μl of the sample was injected at 280°C, split mode (10:1). The oven programming was set for a total runtime of 40 minutes, which included: 100°C (2-minute hold);10°C /min rise to 200°C;7°C /min rise to 249°C;3°C /min rise to 300°C (2-minute hold). To meet the Sustainable Development Goal(SDG)target 6.1,China has undertaken significant initiatives to address the uneven distribution of water resources and to enhance water *** 2000,China has invested heavily in the water infrastructure of numerous reservoirs,with a total storage capacity increase of 4.704×1011m3(an increase of 90.8%).These reservoirs have significantly enhanced the available freshwater resources for drinking ***,efforts to improve water quality in lakes and reservoirs,facilitated by nationwide water quality monitoring,have been *** a result,an increasing lakes and reservoirs are designated as centralized drinking water sources(CDWSs)in *** the 3441 CDWSs across all provinces,40.8%are sourced from lakes and reservoirs,32.6%from rivers,and 26.6%from groundwater in ***,from 2016 to 2023,the percentage of lakes and reservoirs categorized as CDWSs has increased consistently across all 29 *** progress has enabled561.4 million urban residents to access improved drinking water sources in 2022,compared to 303.4 million in *** findings underscore the pivotal role of water infrastructure construction and water quality improvement jointly promoting lakes and reservoirs as vital drinking water ***,the nationwide occurrence of algal blooms has surged by 113.7%from the 2000s to the 2010s,which is a considerable challenge to drinking water ***,algal blooms have been markedly alleviated in past four ***,it is still crucial to acknowledge that lakes and reservoirs face the challenges of algal blooms,and associated toxic microcystin and odor compounds.

Acrylamide induces HepG2 cell proliferation through upregulation of miR-21 expression

Acrylamide, a potential carcinogen, exists in carbohydrate-rich foods cooked at a high temperature. It has been reported that acrylamide can cause DNA damage and cytotoxicity. The present study aimed to investigate the potential mechanism of human hepatocarcinoma HepG2 cell proliferation induced by acrylamide and to explore the antagonistic effects of a natural polyphenol curcumin against acrylamide via miR-21. The results indicated that acrylamide(≤100μmol/L) significantly increased HepG2 cell proliferation and miR-21 expression. In addition, acrylamide reduced the PTEN expression in protein level, while induced the expressions of p-AKT, EGFR and cyclin D1. The PI3 K/AKT inhibitor decreased p-AKT protein expression and inhibited the proliferation of HepG2 cells. In addition, curcumin effectively reduced acrylamide-induced HepG2 cell proliferation and induced apoptosis through the expression of miR-21. In conclusion, the results showed that acrylamide increased HepG2 cell proliferation via upregulating miR-21 expression, which may be a new target for the treatment and prevention of cancer.

Gas Phase Thermodynamic Properties of Polychlorinated Xanthones Predicted with DFT method and Cl Substituted Position

The gas phase thermodynamic properties of 135 polychlorinated xanthones(PCXTs)are calculated using a combination of quantum mechanical computations performed with the Gaussian 03 program at the B3LYP/6-311G***** is found that the chlorine substitution pattern strongly influences the thermodynamic properties of the *** thermodynamic properties of congeners with the same number of chlorines also depend on the chlorine substitution pattern,especially for ortho-substituted *** congeners with one phenyl ring fully chlorinated are found to be the least stable among the *** effect of the chlorine substitution pattern is quantitatively studied by considering the number and position of Cl atom substitution(NPCS).The results show that the NPCS model may be used to predict the thermodynamic properties for all 135 PCXT congeners. In addition,the values of molar heat capacities at constant pressure(cp,m)from 200 to 1000 K for PCXT congeners are calculated,and the temperature dependence relation of this parameter is obtained using the least-squares method.

Correct estimation of the scour around vertical piles in the field exposed to oscillatory waves is very important for many offshore structures and coastal engineering projects. Conventional predictive formulas for the geometric properties of scour hole, however, are not able to provide sufficiently accurate results. Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) are simplified mathematical representation of the human brain. Three-layer normal feed-forward ANN is a powerful tool for input-output mapping and has been widely used in civil engineering problems. In this article the ANNs approach is used to predict the geometric properties of the scour around vertical pile. Two different ANNs including multilayer perceptron (with four different learning rules) and radial basis functions neural networks are used for this purpose. The results show that a three-layer normal feed-forward multilayer perceptron with quick propagation (QP) learning rule can predict the scour hole properties successfully.

Why （and how） personalities in invertebrates？

The literature on animal personalities is varied and sometimes fragmented, with different terms for the in-dividual differences that have been found. Everyone agrees that these differences are important （Groothuis and Carere, 2005） but not everyone agrees how to de- fine them. Defining differences by a multidimensional assessment of these variations, similar to that used for human personality assessment （Gosling, 2001）, taps into the complexity of these variations, see mather and Anderson （1993） for octopuses. A different approach has been to decide on a dimension of behavior and to look at its correlation and trade-offs across different situations （Sih et al., 2004）. Gherardi et al＇s （this collec- tion） review suggests that behavioral syndromes are larger, as they demand multiple contexts. But a thorough student of personality will evaluate behavior across time and contexts, find several personality dimensions, and only then use the most important one for each animal. Pinter-Wollman （this collection） focuses on activity and Pruitt and Reichert （this collection） on aggression. But another difference is that personality is assumed to be a fundamental part of the nature of the animal, whereas a behavioral syndrome is just similar locations on a di-mension occurring in several contexts.
