The Salawusu Formation in the Salawusu River basin of Inner Mongolia is a typical sequence of the Upper Pleistocene in northern China. However, there have been some different views about the division and age of stratigraphic facies since the establishment of the Salawusu Formation. According to the stratigraphic subdivision and dating of the Dishaogouwan section, it is thought that the fluviolacustrine-aeolian sand sequence from the Dishaogouwan section can be compared with loess, deep-sea deposit records and climatic fluctuations of glacial period. The Salawusu Formation of fluviolacustrine facies was formed in the last interglacial period from 140 to 70 ka BP, roughly corresponding to the fifth stage of deep-sea oxygen isotope, and developed in the same period as the palaeosol S1 on the Loess Plateau; the aeolian sand of the Chengchuan Formation was formed in the last glacial period from 70 to 10 ka BP, constituting the heteropic geological body along with the Malan Loess on the Loess Plateau; the

A novel controller is proposed to regulate the DC-link voltage of a single phase active power filter （SPAPF）. The proposed switched fractional controller （SFC） consists of a conventional PI controller, a fractional order PI （FO-PI） controller and a decision maker that switches between them. Commonly, the conventional PI controller is used in regulation loops due to its advantages in steady-state but it is limited in transient state. On the other hand, the FO-PI controller overcomes these draw- backs but it causes dramatic degradation in control performances in steady-state because of the fractional calculus theory and the approximation method used to implement this kind of controller. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to switch to the PI controller in steady-state to obtain the best power quality and to switch to the FO-PI controller when external disturbances are detected to guarantee a fast transient state. To investigate the efficiency and accuracy of the SFC considering all robustness tests, an experimental setup has been established. The results of the SFC fulfill the requirements, confirm its high performances in steady and transient states and demon- strate its feasibility and effectiveness. The experiment results have satisfied the limit specified by the IEEE harmonic standard 519.

‘Single shot'laser-ablation split-stream(SS-lass)technique analyzing unpolished zircon grains makes their thin rims tenable for determination,which thus offers great potential in deciphering the timing of multiple and short-lived episodes of anatexis and metamorphism in deeplysubducted continental *** granitic gneisses in the deeply subducted continental crust undergoing considerable fluid-melt activities persist multistage growth of ***,a comparative study of SS-lass and laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer(LA-ICP-MS)zircon dating was conducted on the granitic gneisses from the Sulu belt in this *** mostly show a core-mantle-rim structure with CL-bright rims thinner than 5μ*** LA-ICP-MS dating,relict magmatic zircon cores yield protolith ages of ca.756-747 Ma;whereas the dark mantles record synexhumation anatexis at ca.214 *** contrast,according to the U-Pb dates,trace element features,zircon crystallization temperatures and geological context,SS-lass zircon petrochronology deciphers three episodes of anatectic events,as follows:(i)the first episode of anatexis at ca.218-217 Ma dominated by phengite-breakdown melting,likely facilitating the exhumation of the UHP slice from mantle depth;(ii)the second episode of anatexis at ca.193–191 Ma indicating part of northern Dabie-Sulu belt was still“hot”because of buried in the thickened orogenic crust at that time;(iii)the third episode of anatexis(ca.162–161 Ma)consistent with the intrusion ages(ca.161–141 Ma)of the Jurassic to Cretaceous granitoids in this orogen,suggesting the initial collapse of the orogenic root of the Sulu belt occurred at Late Jurassic due to the Izanagi plate initially subducting beneath the margin of Eastern *** study sheds new light upon the utilization of SS-lass petrochronology deciphering multiple anatectic events in the deeply-subducted continental crust and supports us in better understanding the tectonic evolution of Dabie-

Objective:To provide a current survey of parasitic infections in the Mediterranean needlefish Tylosurus acus imperialis(*** imperialis).The impact of host’s size and sex on some characteristics of the infection was also ***:Between 2004 and 2009,126 specimens of *** imperialis were necropsied to study their ***:Fifteen species of metazoan parasites were collected including 3 monogeneans(Aspinatrium gallieni,Nudaciraxine imperium and Axinoides sp.),4 digeneans(Lecithostaphylus tylosuri,Tetrochetus coryphaenae,Oesophagotrema mediterranea and Sclerodistomoides pacificus),1 cestode(Ptychobothrium sp.),3 copepods(Lernanthropus tylosuri,Caligodes laciniatus and Caligus sp.),1 isopod(Irona nana),1 acanthocephalan(Rhadinorhynchus sp.),1 nematode(anisakid larvae)and 1 annelid(piscicolid).Cestoda Ptychobothrium *** the most frequent species(72%).Prevalence and abundance of infection with Ptychobothrium *** Rhadinorhynchus *** positively correlated with the total length of the ***’s sex did not seem to affect the infection parameters of parasites in *** ***:This study provides first information on parasitic infections in the Mediterranean needlefish *** imperialis off *** can be used to understand phylogeny,biology and ecology of fish host and also as bioindicators of water quality.

Objective:To present the first information on the feeding habits of the Mediterranean needlefish Tylosurus acus imperialis(***)of Tunisia and to examine the diet variation in relation to the fish size,maturity and ***:Gut contents of 92 specimens of ***,collected mainly from May 2004 to July 2006 off the Gulf of Gabès,Southeastern Tunisian coast,were ***:The results showed that 55.4%of them had empty guts and 44.6%contained food in their *** emptiness index did not vary significantly according to size classes or sexes of *** food consisted of teleosts(Mugilidae,Gobidae and Belonidae)(59.63%)followed by crustaceans(40.24%),mostly decapods Sycionia carinata(5.42%).A decrease in the feeding rate at the peak of the spawning season was observed for both sexes.A diet variation among juvenile and adult specimens of *** was ***:This study enhances our knowledge on the biology of the Mediterranean needlefish *** fish is an active predator and an opportunistic feeder but the feeding rate declines at the peak of the spawning season.
