Here we report results of our investigations of new class of bioactive palladium compounds (AH n ) m [PdCl 4 ], which were discovered as a result of systematic study of correlations between composition, structure and bioactivity of different types of platinum metals coordination compounds. For the first time we demonstrated in vivoa possibility of development of palladium compounds, which exceed cisplatin in antitumor activity and do not show immunosuppressive effects, and palladium compounds with immunostimulating and radioprotective activities. Combinations of cytostatic agents or radiation with palladium complexes lead to significant synergism of their activities and high therapeutic efficiency exceeded an efficiency of their separated use.

The continuous series of perovskite-related oxides with the general formula GdzSr（Al1-xFex）207 0 〈 x 〈 1 were prepared by conventional ceramic technology in air. The pro- cessing stages of Gd2Sr（Al1-xFex）207 0 〈 x 〈 1 phases were investigated by means of X-ray powder diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM） with the element phase analysis. The three main stages of GdeSr（All_~Fex）aO7 for- marion are pointed out. The analysis of the mutual influence of intermediate compounds on the synthesis of the target solid solutions of complex composition, in particular for Gd2Sr（All-xFex）207 was carried out. It is determined that the closeness of the reactive mixture composition to the composition of individual compounds Gd2SrA1207 or GdaSrFeaO7 is of importance for the realization of a partic- ular way of GdESr（Al1-xFex）207 solid solutions formation. It is shown that at x ,= 0.2 the reversing in scheme of Gd2Sr（Al1-Fex）207 series formation is observed. The formation of the Gd2Sr（Al1-xFex）207 continuous series is indicated by the monotonic dependence of molar unit cell volume on the iron content x.

Mineral data from Yakutian kimberlites allow reconstruction of the history of lithospheric *** occur in compositions of mantle pyropes and clinopyroxenes from large kimberlite pipes in the Alakit and Daldyn *** the Alakit ***-diopsides are alkaline,and Stykanskaya and some other pipes contain more sub-calcic pyropes and dunitic-type diamond inclusions,while in the Daldyn field harzburgitic pyropes are *** eclogitic diamond inclusions in the Alakit field are sharply divided in types and conditions,while in the Daldyn field they show varying compositions and often continuous Pressure-Temperature（P-T） ranges with increasing Fe~# with decreasing *** Alakit,Crpargasites to richterites were found in all pipes,while in Daldyn,pargasites are rare Dalnyaya and Zarnitsa ***-diopsides from the Alakit region show higher levels of light Rare Earth Elements（LREE）and stronger REE-slopes,and enrichment in light Rare Earth Elements（LREE）,sometimes Th-U,and small troughs in *** the Daldyn field,the High Field Strength Elements HFSE troughs are more common in clinopyroxenes with low REE abundances,while those from sheared and refertilized peridotites have smooth *** from Alakit show HREE minima,but those from Daldyn often have a trough at Yand high U and ***/O2 diagrams from both regions show similarities,suggesting similar layering and *** degree of metasomatism is often higher for pipes which show dispersion in P-Fe~# trends for *** the mantle beneath Udachnaya and Aykhal,pipes show 6-7 linear arrays of P-Fe~# in the lower part of the mantle section at 7.5-3.0 GPa,probably reflecting primary subduction *** the Sytykanskaya pipe,there are several horizons with opposite inclinations which reflect metasomatic *** high dispersion of the P—Fe~# trend indicating widespread metasomatism is associated with decreased diamond *** explanation of the differences in miner

A double holmium-silver sulfate was obtained for the first *** temperature intervals for the formation and stability of the compound were determined by differential scanning *** crystal structure of AgHo(SO_(4))_(2)was determined by Rietveld *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis showed that the compound crystallizes in the monoclinic syngony,space group P2_1/m,with the unit cell parameters a=4.71751(4)A,b=6.84940(6)A and c=9.89528(9)A,β=95.1466(4)·,V=318.448(5)A^(3),Z=2,R_B=1.55%,T=303 *** types of sulfate tetrahedra were found in the structure,which significantly affected the spectral properties in the infrared *** the temperature range of 143-703 K,a negative thermal expansion along the b direction accompanied by a positive thermal expansion along the a and c directions was *** was established that negative thermal expansion is the result of the deformation of sulfate tetrahedra,which is affected by the movement of holmium and silver *** excitation in the blue spectral range(457.9 nm)produces a luminescence in light blue(489 nm),green(545 nm)and red(654 nm)spectral ranges,and the latter two were of comparable intensity that is favorable for WLED *** observed luminescent band distribution is ascribed to the specific crystal field at Ho^(3+)ion sites rather than a variation of radiationless probability.

We have obtained the interesting class of complex oxidic compounds Ln(GeO)(PO)O(Ln=Pr-Er)bysolid state reactions, grown single crystal with Ln-Pr, Nd and learned their structure early. All this compounds areisostructural (triclinic, sp. gr. P1) and thermic stable (Tmelt>1500℃). They have no morphotropic transformationsin all temperature interval. In this communication we are presenting structural approach for synthesizing new complexoxides with similar properties. The structure of the mentioned compounds contains isolated germanate and phosphategroups, which can be replaced by another anions with the same structure. This approach was tested, and we succeedin case of Ln(GeO)(VO)O(Ln=La-Eu)compounds. By sequental replacement of anions in Ln(GeO)

Ferroelectric tunnel junctions combine the phenomena of quantum-mechanical tunnelling and switchable spontaneous polarisation of a nanometre-thick ferroelectric film into novel device *** the ferroelectric barrier polarisation direction produces a sizable change in resistance of the junction—a phenomenon known as the tunnelling electroresistance *** a fundamental perspective,ferroelectric tunnel junctions and their version with ferromagnetic electrodes,i.e.,multiferroic tunnel junctions,are testbeds for studying the underlying mechanisms of tunnelling electroresistance as well as the interplay between electric and magnetic degrees of freedom and their effect on *** a practical perspective,ferroelectric tunnel junctions hold promise for disruptive device *** a very short time,they have traversed the path from basic model predictions to prototypes for novel non-volatile ferroelectric random access memories with non-destructive *** remarkable progress is to a large extent driven by a productive cycle of predictive modelling and innovative experimental *** this review article,we outline the development of the ferroelectric tunnel junction concept and the role of theoretical modelling in guiding experimental *** discuss a wide range of physical phenomena that control the functional properties of ferroelectric tunnel junctions and summarise the state-of-the-art achievements in the field.
