Objective:To predict the chemical compositions and drug targets and to systematically dissect the pharmacological mechanism of Erxian Decoction(二仙汤,EXD)as a treatment for premature ovarian failure(POF)using a systems pharmacology ***:The compounds present in EXD were obtained from three *** active ingredient was identified by analyzing the values of oral bioavailability(OB),drug-like ness(DL),and Lipin ski's rule(LR).The active in gredients were further searched in research articles,drug targets in the DrugBank database,and the C-T and T-P networks,as well as by pathway analysis using the Cytoscape ***:A total of 728 compounds were identified in *** these,59 were identified as active compounds that conformed to the criteria with OB>30%and DL>*** further searches in the literature,126 related targets were ide ntified that could in teract with the active *** on ally,it was found that the beneficial effects of EXD in POF are probably exerted via regulation of the immline system,modulation of estrogen levels,and anti-oxidative activities,and that it may act in a synergistic or cooperative manner with other therapeutic ***:The systems pharmacology approach is a comprehensive system that was used to elucidate the pharmacological mechanism of EXD as a treatment for *** results of this study will also facilitate the application of traditional medicine in modern treatment strategies.

Safety of menstrual blood-derived stromal cell transplantation in treatment of intrauterine adhesion

Alleviation of mycotoxin biodegradation agent on zearalenone and deoxynivalenol toxicosis in immature gilts

Background: The current study was carried out to evaluate the effects of mycotoxin biodegradation agent(MBA, composed of Bacillus subtilis ANSB01 G and Devosia sp. ANSB714) on relieving zearalenone(ZEA) and deoxynivalenol(DON) toxicosis in immature ***: A total of forty pre-pubertal female gilts(61.42 ± 1.18 kg) were randomly allocated to four diet treatments: CO(positive control); MO(negative control, ZEA 596.86 μg/kg feed and DON 796 μg/kg feed);COA(CO + 2 g MBA/kg feed); MOA(MO + 2 g MBA/kg feed). Each treatment contained 10 replicates with 1 gilt per replicate. Gilts were housed in an environmentally controlled room with the partially slatted ***: During the entire experimental period of 28 d, average daily gain(ADG) and average daily feed intake(ADFI)of gilts in MO group was significantly reduced compared with those in CO group. The vulva size of gilts was significantly higher in MO group than CO group. In addition, significant increases in the plasma levels of Ig A,Ig G, IL-8, IL-10 and PRL were determined in MO group compared with that in CO group. ZEA and DON in the diet upregulated apoptotic caspase-3 in ovaries and uteri, along with down-regulated the anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 in ovaries. The supplementation of MBA into diets co-contaminated with ZEA and DON significantly increased ADG, decreased the vulva sizes, reduced the levels of Ig G, IL-8 and PRL in plasma, and regulated apoptosis in ovaries and uteri of ***: The present results indicated that feeding diet contaminated with ZEA and DON simultaneously(596.86 μg/kg + 796 μg/kg) had detrimental effects on growth performance, plasma immune function and reproductive status of gilts. And MBA could reduce the negative impacts of these two toxins, believed as a promising feed additive for mitigating toxicosis of ZEA and DON at low levels in gilts.

There were few studies of cumulative live birth rates(CLBRs) based on multicenter reproductive clinical data from the general Chinese *** we report a retrospective cohort study,including 14 311 women with17 315 cycles,in three reproductive centers to evaluate two estimated parameters of CLBRs with multiple transfer cycles of in vitro fertilization(IVF)/intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI) in a Chinese *** found that CLBRs were related to female age and endometrial *** the fourth transfer cycle,the conservative and optimal estimates of CLBRs were 52.95% and 77.30% in women under 30 years of age,and 18.17% and26.51% in those 37 years of age or older,*** two estimates were 44.70% and 63.15% in women with endometrial thickness more than 7 mm,and 32.05% and 46.18% in those with less than 7 mm,*** addition,body mass index(BMI),duration of infertility,and infertility diagnoses may also be related to CLBRs on certain *** findings from this study on CLBRs after multiple transfer cycles of IVF/ICSI treatment on different conditions in the Chinese population should be beneficial to both infertile couples and clinicians.

Early Embryo and Larval development of Inviable Intergeneric Hybrids Derived from Crassostrea angulata and Saccostrea cucullata

To detect the intergeneric hybridization between the oyster Crassostrea angulata and Saccostrea cucullata coexisting along the southern coast of China, reciprocal crosses were conducted between the two species. Barriers for sperm recognizing, binding, penetrating the egg, and forming the pronucleus were detected by fluorescence staining. From the results, although fertilization success was observed in hybrid crosses, the overall fertilization rate was lower than that of intraspecific crosses. A large number of hybrid larvae died at 6–8 d after hatching, and those survived could not complete metamorphosis. C. angulata ♀× S. cucullata ♂ larvae had a growth rate similar to that of the maternal species, whereas S. cucullata ♀× C. angulata ♂ larvae grew the slowest among all crosses. Molecular genetics analysis revealed that hybrid progeny were amphimixis hybrids. This study demonstrated that hybrid embryos generated by crossing C. angulata and S. cucullata could develop normally to the larval state, but could not complete metamorphosis and then develop to the spat stage. Thus, there is a post-reproductive isolation between C. angulata and S. cucullata.

Objective:Preeclampsia(PE)is a serious complication of *** ischemia could be an initiating event,but the molecular mechanisms underlying PE are ***28B,a paralog of Lin28 RNA-binding protein,is predominantly expressed in human placenta,and decreased Lin28B expression may play a role in PE by reducing trophoblast *** current study was intended to verify whether Lin28B plays a role in the pathogenesis of PE in rat model for reduced uterine perfusion pressure(RUPP).Methods:We used RUPP rat *** changes in blood pressure,24-h urine protein excretion,and fetal development in RUPP rats were recorded and compared to those of normal pregnant(NP)***,the expression of Lin28B mRNA and protein in placenta was determined using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction,Western blotting,and ***:The blood pressure,24-h urine protein excretion,and embryo absorption rate were significantly increased in RUPP rats on the 20^(th) day of gestational period compared with the NP rats(P0.05).The expression levels of Lin28B mRNA and protein in the placenta of RUPP rats were also significantly decreased in comparison to NP rats(P<0.001).Conclusion:Our results show that the expression of Lin28B in the placenta of RUPP rats is different from that in NP rats,thus suggesting a role of Lin28B in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia.
