Superlubricity provides a novel approach to addressing friction and wear issues in mechanical ***,little is known regarding improving the atomic force microscope(AFM)friction coefficient measurement ***,this study established the theoretical formula for the AFM friction coefficient measurement and deduced the measurement ***,the formula was applied to the AFM probe with a rectangular cross-section *** measurement resolution is associated with the dimensional properties of the AFM probe,the mechanical properties of the cantilever material,the properties of the position-sensitive detector(PSD),and probably the anti-vibration performance of the *** is feasible to make the cantilever as short as possible and the tip as high as possible to improve the measurement *** AFM probe for measuring an ultra-low friction coefficient was designed and *** cantilever’s length,width,and thickness are 50,35,and 0.6μm,*** tip height is 23μ*** measurement resolution can reach 7.1×10^(−6) under the maximum normal ***,the AFM probe was applied to measure the superlubricity between graphene *** friction coefficient is 0.00139 under 853.08 *** work provides a promising method for measuring a~10^(−5) friction coefficient of superlubricity.

Although inorganic pigments in common spectral tuning materials show good weatherability and heat resistance,the limited color choices,weak coloring power,poor dispersibility,and a possibility of toxicity limit their *** the basis of organic pigments which possess a wide range of colors,high coloring power,good transparency,and high safety,herein,the modified pigment and biomimetic coating with improved weatherability,especially ultraviolet(UV)resistance(from 2 to 6 days),was achieved by intercalating acid green 25(AG25)pigment into Mg/Al-layered double hydroxides(Mg/Al-LDH).Furthermore,the heat resistance of AG25 was also significantly ***,the spectral stability of pigments after heat treatment is superior with almost unchanged spectral profile and green reflection *** formation of strong N-H bonds and the S-M(Mg,Al)bonds between Mg/Al-LDH laminates and AG25 molecules contributes to the *** work shows potential for biomimetic leaf materials in respect of reflective spectra stability.

The tireless pursuit of supercapacitors with high energy density entails the parallel advancement of wellsuited electrode materials and elaborately engineered ***(PPy)emerges as an exceedingly conductive polymer and a prospective pseudocapacitive materials for supercapacitors,yet the inferior cyclic stability and unpredictable polymerization patterns severely impede its real-world ***,for the first time,an innovative seed-induced in-situ polymerization assisted 3D printing strategy is proposed to fabricate PPy-reduced graphene oxide/poly(vinylidene difluoride-cohexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP)(PPy-rGO/PH)electrodes with controllable polymerization behavior and exceptional areal mass *** preferred active sites uniformly pre-planted on the 3D-printed graphene substrates serve as reliable seeds to induce efficient polypyrrole deposition,achieving an impressive mass loading of 185.6 mg cm^(-2)(particularly 79.2 mg cm^(-2)for polypyrrole)and a superior areal capacitance of 25.2 F cm^(-2)at 2 mA cm^(-2)for a 12-layer *** agreement with theses appealing features,an unprecedented areal energy density of 1.47 mW h cm^(-2)for a symmetrical device is registered,a rarely achieved value for other PPy/rGO-based *** work highlights a promising route to preparing high energy density energy storage modules for real-world applications.

Porous intermetallics show potential in the field of filtration and separation as well as in the field of ***,porous Ti Fe2intermetallics were fabricated by the reactive synthesis of elemental *** phase transformation and pore formation of porous TiFe2intermetallics were investigated,and its corrosion behavior and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)performance in alkali solution were *** TiFe2intermetallics with porosity in the range of 34.4%-56.4%were synthesized by the diffusion reaction of Ti and Fe elements,and the pore formation of porous TiFe2intermetallic compound is the result of a combination of the bridging effect and the Kirkendall *** porous TiFe2samples exhibit better corrosion resistance compared with porous 316L stainless steel,which is related to the formation of uniform nanosheets on the surface that hinder further corrosion,and porous TiFe2electrode shows the overpotential of 220.6 and 295.6 mV at 10 and 100 mA·cm-2,suggesting a good catalytic *** synthesized porous Fe-based intermetallic has a controllable pore structure as well as excellent corrosion resistance,showing its potential in the field of filtration and separation.

The lubrication performance of liquids is severely restricted and is degraded in high-temperature environments. Stable and reliable lubrication in high temperature environments has been a long-standing goal in various industrial fields. In this study,WS_(2)and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene nanoflakes were used as oil-based lubricant additives to generate ultra-low friction and even superlubricity(friction coefficient of ~0.007) at elevated temperatures(400℃), which has hitherto not been achieved by both individual pristine materials, WS_(2)and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene. Viscosity and thermogravimetric characterization revealed improvements in the high-temperature rheological properties and thermal stability of the lubricating base oil, indicating improved loadbearing and continuous lubrication capabilities at elevated temperatures. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy demonstrated that the formation of an iron/titanium/tungsten-rich oxide lubricious thin film at the sliding interface reduced the interfacial shear stress, which was responsible for the observed friction and wear reductions at high contact pressures(> 1.1 GPa). Although the titanium/tungsten oxide film was gradually removed after prolonged sliding, a sufficiently thick iron oxide film maintained a low friction coefficient for at least 2 h. The improved surface quality facilitates the achievement of ultra-low friction and reduced wear. The proposed lubrication methodology has a broad utilization potential as a wear-reduction strategy across various industrial fields at elevated temperatures.

The loss of hydrocarbon production caused by the dynamic behavior of the inner boundary and propped fractures under long-term production conditions has been widely reported in recent studies. However,the quantitative relationships for the variations of the inner boundary and propped fractures have not been determined and incorporated in the semi-analytical models for the pressure and rate transient analysis. This work focuses on describing the variations of the inner boundary and propped fractures and capturing the typical characteristics from the pressure transient curves.A generalized semi-analytical model was developed to characterize the dynamic behavior of the inner boundary and propped fractures under long-term production conditions. The pressure-dependent length shrinkage coefficients, which quantify the length changes of the inner zone and propped fractures, are modified and incorporated into this multi-zone semi-analytical model. With simultaneous numerical iterations and numerical inversions in Laplace and real-time space, the transient solutions to pressure and rate behavior are determined in just a few seconds. The dynamic behavior of the inner boundary and propped fractures on transient pressure curves is divided into five periods: fracture bilinear flow(FR1),dynamic PFs flow(FR2), inner-area linear flow(FR3), dynamic inner boundary flow(FR4), and outer-area dominated linear flow(FR5). The early hump during FR2 period and a positive upward shift during FR4period are captured on the log-log pressure transient curves, reflecting the dynamic behavior of the inner boundary and propped fractures during the long-term production *** transient pressure behavior will exhibit greater positive upward trend and the flow rate will be lower with the shrinkage of the inner boundary. Linear-fitting-based recursive filtering for nonlinear systems under encoding-decoding mechanism

This paper deals with a recursive filtering problem for a class of discrete time-varying nonlinear networked systems with the encoding-decoding mechanism. The linear fitting method is introduced to handle the nonlinearity. An encoding-decoding mechanism is constructed to describe the data transmission process in wireless communication networks(WCNs). To be specific, the measurement outputs are mapped by a quantizer to unique codewords for transmission in WCNs. Then, the codewords are decoded by the decoder to recover the measurement outputs which are sent to the filter. The processing/encoding delay and network delay have been considered. Firstly, on the premise that the upper bound of the filtering error covariance is minimum, the appropriate filtering gain is calculated. Then, the mean square exponential boundedness of the filtering error is analyzed. Finally, two simulation examples are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
