The title compound 2-[2-(4-fluorobenzylidene)hydrazinyl]-4-(1-methyl-1 H-indol-3-yl)thieno[3,2-d] pyrimidine(8) was synthesized by the condensation of 4-fluorobenzaldehyde(7) with 2-hydrazinyl-4-(1-methyl-1 H-indol-3-yl)thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidine(6). This intermediate was prepared from methyl 3-aminothiophene-2-carboxylate(1) by the condensation with urea, chlorination with phosphorus oxychloride and then condensation with hydrazine hydrate. The crystal of 8 belongs to monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 14.0453(18), b = 17.436(2), c = 18.0982(17) ? and β = 122.969(7)°. In addition, 8 possesses marked inhibition against the proliferation of human colon cancer cell line HT-29(IC50 = 6.09 μM) and human gastric cancer cell line MKN45(IC50 = 3.04 μM), displaying promising anticancer activity.

A novel coronavirus, named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-Co V-2 or 2019-nCOV), causing coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19), has rapidly spread to most countries and regions worldwide since it broke out at the end of 2019. Epidemic of the virus produces a tremendous pressure on the global health systems. With progressive insight into SARS-Co V-2, the role of eye tissue has attracted wide attention in the spread of COVID-19. Whether SARS-Co V-2 can enter the human body through eyes and cause infection? The fact that unprotected exposure of the eyes to 2019-n Co V might have allowed the virus to infect the body implies that 2019-n COV can invade eye tissue and set foot in organism. Facing the severe challenge of preventing spread of the COVID-19, combined with the high-risk environment of ophthalmology, it is crucial to investigate ocular tropism of coronavirus. This paper explores the possibility of coronavirus transmission through the eye from aspects of probable mechanisms, clinical cases, detection of coronavirus;and puts forward precautions for ophthalmologists and nurses. Consequently, this review reveals our understanding of ocular tropism of coronavirus and contributes to determining risk of ocular transmission, raising awareness of necessary eye protection among medical workers and reducing further prevalence of SARS-Co V-2.

AIM:To evaluate the global trends in and explore hotspots of high myopia(HM)***:This bibliometric analysis was used to reveal the publication trends in HM research field based on the Web of Science Core Collection(WoSCC).VOSviewer version 1.6.13 software was used to analyze the data and construct a knowledge map including the yearly publication number,journals,countries,international collaborations,authors,research hotspots,and intellectual base in ***:The search engine found 3544 peer-reviewed publications on HM between 2010 and 2019,and the yearly research output substantially elevated over the past *** is the top publishing country,and Sun Yatsen University was the most active academic *** JB is the top publishing scientist,and Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science(IOVS)was the most productive *** highest cited references mainly focused on epidemiology and *** keywords formed 6 clusters:1)refractive surgery;2)etiology and clinical characteristics;3)the mechanism of eye growth;4)management for myopic maculopathy;5)vitrectomy surgical treatment;6)myopia-associated glaucoma-like optic ***:The evaluation of development trends based on the data extracted from WoSCC can provide valuable information and guidance for ophthalmologists and public health researchers to improve management procedures in HM field.

AIM： To compare the results of 25 MHz and 50 MHz ultrasound biomicroscopy（UBM） regarding the image characteristics of the lens and its related diseases and to discuss the application value of 25 MHz UBM in ophthalmology. METHODS： A total of 302 patients（455 eyes） were included in this study from November 2014 to May 2015. Patient ages ranged from 5 to 89 y（mean±SD： 61.0±17.7 y）. Different cross-sectional images of the lens were collected to compare and analyze the image characteristics and anterior segment parameters using 25 MHz and 50 MHz UBM in axial and longitudinal scanning modes, respectively. SPSS 19.0 for Windows, paired t-tests and B＆A plot analysis were used for data analysis, and a value of P〈0.05 was considered statistically significant. RESULTS： The 25 MHz UBM images displayed the lens shape more clearly than 50 MHz UBM images. Particularly for cataracts, the whole opacity of the lens was shown by 25 MHz UBM, but 50 MHz UBM only showed part of the lens. The means of the anterior segment parameters obtained using 25 MHz and 50 MHz UBM were as follows： central corneal thickness： 0.55±0.03 and 0.51±0.04 mm, respectively; central anterior chamber depth： 2.48±0.54 and 2.56±0.56 mm, respectively; and central lens thickness： 4.26±0.62 and 4.15±0.56 mm, respectively. A statistically significant difference was found between the results obtained with 25 MHz UBM and those obtained with 50 MHz UBM. The two devices had a good agreement in measuring the anterior segment parameters. CONCLUSION： The 25 MHz UBM had an obvious advantage in showing the lens shape. It can provide reliable imaging of the lens and its related diseases and has a high application value for ophthalmology.

Electrodeposition of aluminum from benzene-tetrahydrofuran-Al Cl3-Li Al H4 was studied at room temperature. Galvanostatic electrolysis was used to investigate the effect of various parameters on deposit morphology and crystal size, including current density, temperature, molar ratio of benzene/tetrahydrofuran and stirring speed. The deposit microstructure was adjusted by changing the parameters, and the optimum operating conditions were determined. Dense, bright and adherent aluminum coatings were obtained over a wide range of current densities(10-25 m A/cm2), molar ratio of benzene and tetrahydrofuran(4:1 to 7:8) and stirring speeds(200-500 r/min). Smaller grain sizes and well-adhered deposits were obtained at lower temperatures. Aluminum-magnesium alloys could potentially be used as hydrogen storage materials. A novel method for Al-Mg deposition was proposed by using pure Mg anodes in the organic solvents system benzene-tetrahydrofuran-Al Cl3-Li Al H4. XRD shows that the aluminum-magnesium alloys are mainly Al3Mg2 and Al12Mg17.

For a multistream tundish,the uniformity among the streams plays a significant role in the quality of molten *** to analyze the uniformity quantitatively and optimize structures of a multistream tundish is an important research content for a multistream tundish.A new approach was proposed to quantify the uniformity among the *** a physical study and a numerical study were carried out to optimize the structure of the diversion hole based on the prototype of a six-stream tundish in a steel *** the basis of average residence time,the uniformity of each flow was considered fully and then the optimal structure of the diversion hole was obtained by means of the comprehensive analysis of temperature field and velocity *** results show that the optimum structural parameters adopted for diversion holes are height of 20 mm,angle of 15°and diameter of 80 mm.

AIM: To study whether specific anesthetic drugs or tear layer evaporation was primarily responsible for the acute cataract and what the change of lens structure is in anesthetized ***: Five groups were set up in the experiment: Group A(topicamide and phenylephrine mixed eye drop+ chloral hydrate), Group B(tropicamide and phenylephrine mixed eye drop+sevoflurane), Group C(tropicamide and phenylephrine mixed eye drop), Group D(topicamide and phenylephrine mixed eye drop+chloral hydrate, carbomer eye drop in the right eyes), and Group E(tropicamide and phenylephrine mixed eye drop+sevoflurane, carbomer eye drop in the right eyes). A simple classification system was used to assess the severity of lens opacity. And a numerical value from 0 to 3 to each grade was assigned for the cataract index calculation and data analysis. The gross appearance and time course of development of lens opacity were assessed. Hematoxylin and eosin staining was used to observe the lens structure changes in the reversible ***: Tropicamide did not induce lens opacification in mice. lens opacity caused by inhaled sevoflurane was similar to injected cholral hydrate. Both inhaled-anestheticinduced lens opacity and injected-anesthetic-induced lens opacity could be prevented by carbomer eye drop. In the severe opacity lens, a wide range of lens fiber cell structure had disordered. The fiber cells became uneven ***: The acute reversible lens opacity can unilaterally develop or be induced by a local cause. The structure of lens fiber cells changed in the lens opacity which may influence the permanent connection of the lens fiber cells. This study was not only of practical significance to help maintain lens transparency for eye research, but also of the deeper consideration about the reversible lens opacification phenomenon.

Stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes were used to investigate nutrient pathways and trophic relationships from the rice-crab system in Panjin, liaoning province, China. Values of 313C ranged from -27.38%±0.44%o to -18.34%±0.26%o and δ^15N ranged from 1.10%o4-0.88%o to 9.33%±0.57%. Pseudorasbora parva （Stone moroko） had the highest δ^13C and 8tSN values. The lowest δ^13C values were obtained for the macrophytes and the lowest δ^15N value was found in sediments. Stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes were used to determine the contribution of different food items to the diets of crabs. The δ^13C results indicated that the Pseudorasbora parva made the greatest contribution to the diet of Eriocheir sinensis （Chinese mitten crab）, while the δ^15N results indicated that most food items contributed more than 10% to the diet of the crab. There were three trophic levels identified in the system （Levels 0-2）. The crab Eriocheir sinensis, fish Pseudorasbora parva and Misgurnus anguillicaudatus （Oriental weatherfish）, and the oligochaete Limnodrilus hoffmeisteri （Limnodrilus worm）, were at the second level, zooplankton were at the first level and suspended particulate matter and macrophytes were at trophic position 0.

According to Lambert’s law,a novel structure of photodetectors,namely photodetectors in siliconon-insulator,is *** choosing a certain thickness value for the SOI layer,the photodetector can absorb blue/violet light effectively and affect the responsivity of the long wavelength in the visible and near-infrared region,making a blue/violet filter *** material of the SOI layer is high-resistivity floating-zone silicon which can cause the neutral N type SOI layer to become fully depleted after doping with a P type *** can improve the collection efficiency of short-wavelength photogenerated *** device structure was optimized through numerical simulation,and the results show that the photodiode is a kind of high performance photodetector in the blue/violet region.
