A generalized formulation for short-term scheduling of steam power system in iron and steel industry under the time-of-use（TOU）power price was presented,with minimization of total operational cost including fuel cost,equipment maintenance cost and the charge of exchange power with main *** model took into account the varying nature of surplus byproduct gas flows,several practical technical constraints and the impact of TOU power *** major types of utility equipments,involving boilers,steam turbines,combined heat and power（CHP）units,and waste heat and energy recovery generators（WHERG）,were separately modeled using thermodynamic balance equations and regression *** order to solve this complex nonlinear optimization model,a new improved particle swarm optimization（IPSO）algorithm was proposed by incorporating time-variant parameters,a selfadaptive mutation scheme and efficient constraint handling ***,a case study for a real industrial example was used for illustrating the model and validating the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

In this paper,the Kalman filter(KF)and the unbiased finite impulse response(UFIR)filter are fused in the discrete-time state-space to improve robustness against *** avoid the problem where fusion filters may give up some advantages of UFIR filters by fusing based on noise statistics,we attempt to find a way to fuse without using noise *** fusion filtering algorithm is derived using the influence function that provides a quantified measure for disturbances on the resulting filtering outputs and is termed as an influence finite impulse response(IFIR)*** main advantage of the proposed method is that the noise statistics of process noise and measurement noise are no longer required in the fusion process,showing that a critical feature of the UFIR filter is *** numerical example and a practice-oriented case are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed *** is shown that the IFIR filter has adaptive performance and can automatically switch from the Kalman estimate to the UFIR estimates according to operating ***,the proposed method can reduce the effects of optimal horizon length on the UFIR estimate and can give the state estimates of best accuracy among all the compared methods.

Endpoint Prediction of EAF Based on Multiple Support Vector Machines

The selection of oriented vector control method for three-level PWM rectifier is an important factor for getting stable DC voltage. Because the observer has an uncertain initial value, and the rectifier has a large start-up current which may lead to the system failure, while using the virtual flux oriented vector control method for three-level PWM rectifier. For this reason, the grid voltage oriented vector control strategy was adopted to achieve a more effective control on the rectifier. However, the complex mathematical model of this method makes the controller designed difficultly. As the neutral point voltage balance of three-level rectifier can get a good control effect throughout the entire control process, the average current of the neutral point was regarded as zero. Besides, transforming symmetric three-phase parameter to constant DC parameter through appropriate coordinates transform can change the three-phase nonlinear system with time-variable issue into two-phase linear system, and the rational simplification of rectifier model was presented according to the project requirement, which has laid a foundation for the design of controller so as to make it easy for the selection of the PID controller parameters. At last, an effective control on the DC bus voltage and the grid power factor was achieved.

The endpoint parameters are very important to the process of EAF steel-making, but their on-line measurement is difficult. The soft sensor technology is widely used for the prediction of endpoint parameters. Based on the analysis of the smelting process of EAF and the advantages of support vector machines, a soft sensor model for predicting the endpoint parameters was built using multiple support vector machines （MSVM）. In this model, the input space was divided by subtractive clustering and a sub-model based on LS-SVM was built in each sub-space. To decrease the correlation among the sub-models and to improve the accuracy and robustness of the model, the sub- models were combined by Principal Components Regression. The accuracy of the soft sensor model is perfectly improved. The simulation result demonstrates the practicability and efficiency of the MSVM model for the endpoint prediction of EAF.

To solve the dynamical consensus problem of second-order multi-agent systems with communication delay,delay-dependent compensations are added into the normal asynchronously-coupled consensus algorithm so as to make the agents achieve a dynamical consensus. Based on frequency-domain analysis, sufficient conditions are gained for second-order multi-agent systems with communication delay under leaderless and leader-following consensus algorithms respectively. Simulation illustrates the correctness of the results.

The quantum bacterial foraging optimization(QBFO)algorithm has the characteristics of strong robustness and global searching ability. In the classical QBFO algorithm, the rotation angle updated by the rotation gate is discrete and constant,which cannot affect the situation of the solution space and limit the diversity of bacterial population. In this paper, an improved QBFO(IQBFO) algorithm is proposed, which can adaptively make the quantum rotation angle continuously updated and enhance the global search ability. In the initialization process, the modified probability of the optimal rotation angle is introduced to avoid the existence of invariant solutions. The modified operator of probability amplitude is adopted to further increase the population *** tests based on benchmark functions verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Moreover, compared with the integerorder PID controller, the fractional-order proportion integration differentiation(PID) controller increases the complexity of the system with better flexibility and robustness. Thus the fractional-order PID controller is applied to the servo system. The tuning results of PID parameters of the fractional-order servo system show that the proposed algorithm has a good performance in tuning the PID parameters of the fractional-order servo system.

Along with the gradual maturity of Pickup and Delivery Customers to Airport service （PDCA）, transactional management can’t meet the needs of Flight Tickets Sale Companies （FTSC） which implemented PDCA. In fact, company urgently demands statistical information from the accumulated data of service to make correct decisions. Therefore, the aim of the research is to evaluate and analyze the historical data of PDCA platform to help companies successfully decide how to arrange their operational tactics. According to the feature of PDCA, importance and content of statistical information of PDCA is proposed. By our implemented platform, we show how to use the statistical information to provide decision support for the companies which implemented PDCA. These results of the analysis also prove that the statistical information make the company easily master the whole condition of PDCA and adjust the operation method to obtain the better profits.

So as to meet the demand of real-world cargo transportation problem, the loading weight of vehicles is brought into the objective function of traditional Vehicle Routing Problem （VRP）, which creates the weighted VRP （WVRP）. The WVRP Benchmark and Algorithm Management System in this paper, provide a substantial platform for data management, including both WVRP instances and algorithms. Most importantly, the implementation of the system enables the integration of WVRP instances and related algorithms, which can further test the effectiveness of WVRP algorithms and may prove the benefits of WVRP modeling in later research. This paper introduced the structure design and function modules of WVRP Benchmark System, and explained the detailed implement of the system. Specific examples are displayed to prove the system effectiveness. The system provides an instrument and technical support of WVRP research and may in turn be beneficial to WVRP’s future study.

This paper studies local exponential synchronization of complex delayed networks with switching topology via switched system stability theory. First, by a common unitary matrix, the problem of synchronization is transformed into the stability analysis of some linear switched delay systems. Then, when all subnetworks are synchronizable, a delay-dependent sufficient condition is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs） which guarantees the solvability of the synchronization problem under an average dwell time scheme. We extend this result to the case that not all subnetworks are synchronizable. It is shown that in addition to average dwell time, if the ratio of the total activation time of synchronizable and non-synchronizable subnetworks satisfy an extra condition, then the problem is also solvable. Two numerical examples of delayed dynamical networks with switching topology are given, which demonstrate the effectiveness of obtained results.
