Exploring High-Performance Architecture for Data Center Networks

As a critical infrastructure of cloud computing,data center networks(DCNs)directly determine the service performance of data centers,which provide computing services for various applications such as big data processing and artificial ***,current architectures of data center networks suffer from a long routing path and a low fault tolerance between source and destination servers,which is hard to satisfy the requirements of high-performance data center *** on dual-port servers and Clos network structure,this paper proposed a novel architecture RClos to construct high-performance data center ***,the proposed architecture is constructed by inserting a dual-port server into each pair of adjacent switches in the fabric of switches,where switches are connected in the form of a ring Clos *** describe the structural properties of RClos in terms of network scale,bisection bandwidth,and network *** architecture inherits characteristics of its embedded Clos network,which can accommodate a large number of servers with a small average path *** proposed architecture embraces a high fault tolerance,which adapts to the construction of various data center *** example,the average path length between servers is 3.44,and the standardized bisection bandwidth is 0.8 in RClos(32,5).The result of numerical experiments shows that RClos enjoys a small average path length and a high network fault tolerance,which is essential in the construction of high-performance data center networks.

Fungal diversity notes is one of the important journal series of fungal taxonomy that provide detailed descriptions and illustrations of new fungal taxa,as well as providing new information of fungal taxa *** article is the 11th contribution to the fungal diversity notes series,in which 126 taxa distributed in two phyla,six classes,24 orders and 55 families are described and *** in this study were mainly collected from Italy by Erio Camporesi and also collected from China,India and Thailand,as well as in some other European,North American and South American *** described in the present study include two new families,12 new genera,82 new species,five new combinations and 25 new records on new hosts and new geographical distributions as well as sexual-asexual *** two new families are Eriomycetaceae(Dothideomycetes,family incertae sedis)and Fasciatisporaceae(Xylariales,Sordariomycetes).The twelve new genera comprise Bhagirathimyces(Phaeosphaeriaceae),Camporesiomyces(Tubeufiaceae),Eriocamporesia(Cryphonectriaceae),Eriomyces(Eriomycetaceae),Neomonodictys(Pleurotheciaceae),Paraloratospora(Phaeosphaeriaceae),Paramonodictys(Parabambusicolaceae),Pseudoconlarium(Diaporthomycetidae,genus incertae sedis),Pseudomurilentithecium(Lentitheciaceae),Setoapiospora(Muyocopronaceae),Srinivasanomyces(Vibrisseaceae)and Xenoanthostomella(Xylariales,genera incertae sedis).The 82 new species comprise Acremonium chiangraiense,Adustochaete nivea,Angustimassarina camporesii,Bhagirathimyces himalayensis,Brunneoclavispora camporesii,Camarosporidiella camporesii,Camporesiomyces mali,Camposporium appendiculatum,Camposporium multiseptatum,Camposporium septatum,Canalisporium aquaticium,Clonostachys eriocamporesiana,Clonostachys eriocamporesii,Colletotrichum hederiicola,Coniochaeta vineae,Conioscypha verrucosa,Cortinarius ainsworthii,Cortinarius aurae,Cortinarius britannicus,Cortinarius heatherae,Cortinarius scoticus,Cortinarius subsaniosus,Cytospora fusispor

Pests detecting is an important research subject in grain storage *** the past decades,many edge detection methods have been applied to the edge detection of stored grain *** some of them can realize the stored grain pests detecting,precision and robustness are not good *** residual(SR)saliency edge detection defines the logarithmic spectrumof image as novelty part of the image *** remaining spectrumis converted to the airspace to obtain edge detection *** algorithm is completely based on frequency domain *** not only can effectively simplify the target detection algorithm,but also can improve the effectiveness of target *** experimental results show that the edge results of stored grain pests detected by SR method are effective and stable.

A digital authentication watermarking scheme for JPEG images with superior localization and security

The drawbacks of the current authentication watermarking schemes for JPEG images, which are inferior localization and the security flaws, are firstly analyzed in this paper. Then, two counterfeiting attacks are conducted on them. To overcome these drawbacks, a new digital authentication watermarking scheme for JPEG images with superior localization and security is proposed. Moreover, the probabilities of tamper detection and false detection are deduced under region tampering and collage attack separately. For each image block, the proposed scheme keeps four middle frequency points fixed to embed the watermark, and utilizes the rest of the DCT coefficients to generate 4 bits of watermark information. During the embedding process, each watermark bit is embedded in another image block that is selected by its corresponding secret key. Since four blocks are randomly selected for the watermark embedding of each block, the non-deterministic dependence among the image blocks is established so as to resist collage attack completely. At the receiver, according to judging of the extracted 4 bits of watermark information and the corresponding 9-neighbourhood system, the proposed scheme could discriminate whether the image block is tampered or not. Owing to the diminishing of false detection and the holding of tamper detection, we improve the accuracy of localization in the authentication process. Theoretic analysis and simulation results have proved that the proposed algorithm not only has superior localization, but also enhances the systematic security obviously.

Electronic healthcare systems can offer convenience but face the risk of data forgery and information *** solve these issues,we propose an identity-based searchable attribute signcryption in lattice for a blockchain-based medical system(BCMS-LIDSASC).BCMS-LIDSASC achieves decentralization and anti-quantum security in the blockchain environment,and provides fine-grained access control and ***,smart contracts are used to replace traditional trusted third parties,and the interplanetary file system(IPFS)is used for ciphertext storage to alleviate storage pressure on the *** to other schemes,BCMS-LIDSASC requires smaller key size and less storage,and has lower computation *** contributes to secure and efficient management of medical data and can protect patient privacy and ensure the integrity of electronic healthcare systems.

Dear Editor,Chloroquine(CQ)has long been used as an anti-malarial agent(Wellems and Plowe,2001).Recently,CQ has also been applied to treat viral infection and related diseases(Wellems and Plowe,2001;Huang et al.,2020).However,the safety and efficacy of its applications are still under extensive debate(Solomon and Lee,2009).Here,we discovered that low-dose CQ has a geroprotective effect on physiologically aged ***-dose CQ prolonged lifespan,repressed systemic inflammation,and inhibited fibrosis across multiple tissue types in aged ***,we constructed transcriptomic maps for 6 tissues(kidney,small intestine,liver,heart,lung,and aorta)upon CQ treatment,thus revealing the effects of CQ at a systemic *** treatment mitigated age-related molecular changes and repressed genes linked to fibrosis and the inflammatory ***,our data provide a valuable resource for investigating the impact of CQ on multiple aged tissues,which may facilitate the development of clinical applications that mitigate age-related changes in the elderly.

Online Learning Behavior Analysis and Prediction Based on Spiking Neural Networks

The vast amount of data generated by large-scale open online course platforms provide a solid foundation for the analysis of learning behavior in the field of *** study utilizes the historical and final learning behavior data of over 300000 learners from 17 courses offered on the edX platform by Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology during the 2012-2013 academic *** have developed a spike neural network to predict learning outcomes,and analyzed the correlation between learning behavior and outcomes,aiming to identify key learning behaviors that significantly impact these *** goal is to monitor learning progress,provide targeted references for evaluating and improving learning effectiveness,and implement intervention measures *** results demonstrate that the prediction model based on online learning behavior using spiking neural network achieves an impressive accuracy of 99.80%.The learning behaviors that predominantly affect learning effectiveness are found to be students’academic performance and level of participation.

Rice is one of the most important cereal crops in the world, and a substantial increase in grain yield is necessary for food security. However, high yields of semidwarf modern rice varieties are heavily dependent on the application of mineral nitrogenous fertilizer (Tilman et al., 2002;Sun et al., 2014). Nitrogen (N)-insensitive sponses associated with reduced N-use efficiency (NUE) is a major characteristic of the green revolution varieties (GRVs), in which the growth-inhibiting protein SLENDER RICE1 (SLR1) accumulates (Li et al., 2018). Unfortunately, increasing the level of N fertilizer use to reach the full yield potential of GRVs is subject to diminishing returns, quite apart from its deleterious effect on the environments (Rahn et al., 2009;Liu et al., 2015). Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop new rice GRVs that increase NUE while maintaining their high yields. Recently, several genes (e.g., DEP1, ***, OsNRT2.3b, ARE1 and GRF4) responsible for improved NUE have been identified in rice (Sun et al.. 2014;Hu et al., 2015;Fan et al., 2016;Wang et al., 2018;Li et al., 2018). More importantly, boosting the activity of the transcription factor GRF4 overcomes the ability of SLR1 to prevent the GRF4-GIF1 interaction, which in turn promotes the coordinated expression of the genes involved in N assimilation and carbon fixation and consequently enhances the NUE of rice GRVs, thereby improving our ability to grow crops sustainably (Li et al., 2018). However, current understanding of the genetic basis for improving NUE remains at the level of identification of a number of quantitative trait loci (QTLs), without any understanding of the nature of the gene products.
