We propose a new polarization sensitive optical time domain reflectometry （P-OTDR） setup assisted with a piezoelectric polarization controller （PPC）. The input state of polarization can be changed by varying the voltage of PPC without any rotatable instrument, and only one optical receiver is used to detect the backward beam. We measure a single mode fibre and get the distribution of birefringence along the SMF.

Dermal substitutes have provided a template for the regeneration and reconstruction of the ***,the healed skin tissue often exhibits abnormal morphology and functionality,including scarring and *** this study,a composite bioink composed of methacrylated gelatin(GelMA)and chitosan oligosaccharide(COS)was proposed for printing a dermal scaffold using digital light processing(DLP)*** GelMA/COS bioink exhibited suitable porosity,swelling,degradation rate,and mechanical *** inclusion of COS demonstrated antibacterial effects against both Gram positive and Gram-negative bacteria,while simultaneously fostering the proliferation of human dermal fibroblasts(HDFs).Additionally,the application of COS could effectively reduce the expression levels of fibrosis-related genes,such as collagen I,collagen III,and fibronectin *** three-dimensionally printed cell-laden dermal scaffold exhibited excellent shape fidelity and high cellular viability,facilitating the extension of HDFs along the scaffold and the simultaneous secretion of extracellular matrix ***,the HDF-laden dermal scaffold transplanted into full-thickness skin defect sites in nude mice was shown to accelerate wound closure,reduce inflammation,and improve wound ***,the DLP-printed dermal scaffold provides an appealing approach for effectively treating full-thickness skin defects in clinical settings.

The microstructural, optical, and magnetic properties and room-temperature photoluminescence （PL） ofMn-doped ZnO thin films were studied. The chemical compositions were examined by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDS） and the charge state of Mn ions in the ZnO：Mn films was characterized by X-ray photoelectronic spectrometry （XPS）. From the X-ray diffraction （XRD） data of the samples, it can be found that Mn doping does not change the orientation of ZnO thin films. All the films prepared have a wurtzite structure and grow mainly along the c-axis orientation. The grain size and the residual stress were calculated from the XRD results. The optical transmittance of the film decreases with the increase of manganese content in ZnO. The room-temperature photoluminescence of the films shows that the in- tensity of near band energy （NBE） emission depends strongly on the Mn content. The hysteresis behavior indicates that the films with the Mn content below 9at% are ferromagnetic at room temperature.

The iron-doped nickel oxide films used as oxygen evolution catalysts in the photoelectrochemical production of hydrogen from solar energy were deposited by means of RF reactive magnetron sputtering from a Ni-Fe alloy target in oxygen and argon *** effects of processing parameters on the film properties,such as overpotential,composition,surface morphology and preferred orientation,were *** electrochemical experiment,structural and compositional measurements indicate that the relative lower substrate temperature,higher RF power,higher working pressure and oxygen content are necessary to gain lower *** lowest overpotential of 251 mV is obtained at a current density of 80 mA/*** existence of iron,which acts as activity site,and Ni3+ ion is responsible for lowering *** analyzing SEM and XRD data,it is also noticed that an improvement in crystallinity,appropriate grain size and less crystalline phase contribute to an increased electrocatalytic activity in oxygen evolution *** results mentioned above indicate that iron-doped nickel oxide is promising as an oxygen catalyst.

The chemiluminescence （CL） performance of luminol is improved using reduced graphene oxide/gold nanoparticle （rGO-AuNP） nano-composites as catalyst. To prepare this catalyst, we propose a linker free, one-step method to in- situ synthesize rGO-AuNP nano-composites. Various measurements are utilized to characterize the resulting rGO-AuNP samples, and it is revealed that rGO could improve the stability and conductivity. Furthermore, we investigate the CL signals of luminal catalyzed by rGO-AuNP. Afterwards, the size effect of particle and the assisted enhancement effect of rGO are studied and discussed in detail. Based on the discussion, an optimal, sensitive and stable rGO-AuNP-luminon- H202 CL system is proposed. Finally, we utilize the system as a sensor to detect hydrogen peroxide and organic compounds containing amino, hydroxyl, or thiol groups. The CL system might provide a more attractive platform for various analytical devices with CL detection in the field of biosensors, bioassays, and immunosensors.

Effect of annealing treatment on the performance of organic photovoltaic devices using SPFGraphene as electron-accepter material

We have researched the performances of organic photovoltaic devices with the bulk heterojunction （BHJ） structure using the organic solution-processable functionalized graphene （SPFGraphene） material as the electron-accepter material and P3OT as the donor material. The structural configuration of the device is ITO/PEDOT：PSS/P3OT：PCBM-SPFGraphene/LiF/A1. Given the P3OT/PCBM （1：1） mixture with 8wt% of SPFGraphene, the open-circuit voltage （Voc） of the device reaches 0.64 V, a short-circuit current density （J^c） reaches 5.7 mA/cm2, a fill factor （FF） reaches 0.42, and the power conversion efficiency （7？） reaches 1.53% at illumination at 100 mW/cm2 AM1.5. We further studied the reason for the device performances improvement In the P3OT：PCBM-SPFGraphene composite, the SPFGraphene material acts as exciton dissociation sites and provides the transport pathways of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital （LUMO）-SPFGraphene-A1. Furthermore, adding SPFGraphene to P3OT results in appropriate energetic distance between the highest occupied molecular orbital （HOMO） and LUMO of the donoffacceptor and provides higher exciton dissociation volume mobility of carrier transport. We have researched the effect of annealing treatment for the devices and found that the devices with annealing treatment at 180℃ show better performances compared with devices without annealed treatment. The devices with annealed treatment show the best performance, with an enhancement of the power conversion efficiency from 1.53% to 1.75%.

The application of TiO2-based devices is mainly dependent on their crystalline structure, morphology, size, and exposed facets. Two kinds of TiO2 with different structures, namely TiO2 pompons and TiO2 nanotubes, have been prepared by the hydrothermal method. TiO2 with different structures is characterized by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, and Brunauer Emmett-Teller （BET） surface area analysis. Solar cells based on poly（3-hexylthiophene）（P3HT） and TiO2 with different structures are fabricated. In the device ITO/TiO2/P3HT/Au, the P3HT is designed to act as the electron donor, and TiO2 pompons and TiO2 nanotubes act as the electron acceptor. The effects of the TiO2 structure on the performance of hybrid heterojunction solar cells are investigated. The device with TiO2 pompons has an open circuit voltage （Voc） of 0.51 V, a short circuit current （Jsc） of 0.21 mA/cm2, and a fill factor （FF） of 28.3%. Another device with TiO2 nanotubes has a Voc of 0.5 V, Jsc of 0.27 mA/cm2, and FF of 28.4%. The results indicate that the TiO2 nanotubes with a unidimensional structure have better carrier transport and light absorption properties than TiO2 pompons. Consequently, the solar cell based on TiO2 nanotubes has a better performance.

As an important member of the two-dimensional layers of metal dichalcogenides family, the two-dimensional(2 D)group IV metal chalcogenides(GIVMCs) have been attracting intensive attention. However, the growth of monolayer tin disulfide(SnS2) remains a great challenge contrasted to transition metal dichalcogenides, which have been studied quite maturely. Till date, there have been scant reports on the growth of large-scale and large-size monolayer SnS2. Here, we successfully synthesized monolayer SnS2 crystal on SiO2/Si substrates via NaCl-assisted CVD and the edge can be as long as 80 μm. optical microscope, Raman spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy(AFM), and energydispersion x-ray(EDX) were performed respectively to investigate the morphology, crystallographic structure, and optical property of the 2 D SnS2 nanosheets. In addition, we discussed the growing mechanism of the NaCl-assisted CVD method.
