In this paper,the Kalman filter(KF)and the unbiased finite impulse response(UFIR)filter are fused in the discrete-time state-space to improve robustness against *** avoid the problem where fusion filters may give up some advantages of UFIR filters by fusing based on noise statistics,we attempt to find a way to fuse without using noise *** fusion filtering algorithm is derived using the influence function that provides a quantified measure for disturbances on the resulting filtering outputs and is termed as an influence finite impulse response(IFIR)*** main advantage of the proposed method is that the noise statistics of process noise and measurement noise are no longer required in the fusion process,showing that a critical feature of the UFIR filter is *** numerical example and a practice-oriented case are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed *** is shown that the IFIR filter has adaptive performance and can automatically switch from the Kalman estimate to the UFIR estimates according to operating ***,the proposed method can reduce the effects of optimal horizon length on the UFIR estimate and can give the state estimates of best accuracy among all the compared methods.

This paper deals with H-infinity filtering of discrete-time systems with polytopic uncertainties. The un- certain parameters are supposed to reside in a polytope. By using the parameter-dependent Lyapunov function approach and introducing some slack matrix variables, a new sufficient condition for the H-infinity filter design is presented in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. In contrast to the existing results for H-infinity filter design, the main advantage of the proposed design method is the reduced conservativeness. An example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

To solve the dynamical consensus problem of second-order multi-agent systems with communication delay,delay-dependent compensations are added into the normal asynchronously-coupled consensus algorithm so as to make the agents achieve a dynamical consensus. Based on frequency-domain analysis, sufficient conditions are gained for second-order multi-agent systems with communication delay under leaderless and leader-following consensus algorithms respectively. Simulation illustrates the correctness of the results.

The endpoint parameters are very important to the process of EAF steel-making, but their on-line measurement is difficult. The soft sensor technology is widely used for the prediction of endpoint parameters. Based on the analysis of the smelting process of EAF and the advantages of support vector machines, a soft sensor model for predicting the endpoint parameters was built using multiple support vector machines （MSVM）. In this model, the input space was divided by subtractive clustering and a sub-model based on LS-SVM was built in each sub-space. To decrease the correlation among the sub-models and to improve the accuracy and robustness of the model, the sub- models were combined by Principal Components Regression. The accuracy of the soft sensor model is perfectly improved. The simulation result demonstrates the practicability and efficiency of the MSVM model for the endpoint prediction of EAF.

This paper considers the problems of practical stability analysis and synthesis of linear descriptor systems subject to timevarying and norm-bounded exogenous disturbances. A sufficient condition for the systems to be regular, impulsive-free and practically stable is derived. Then the synthesis problem is addressed and a state feedback controller is designed. To deal with the computational issue, the conditions of the main results are converted into linear matrix inequality （LMI） feasibility problems. Furthermore, two optimization algorithms are formulated to improve the system performances. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the obtained results.

In this paper, an improved impulsive lag synchronization scheme for different chaotic systems with parametric uncertainties is proposed. Based on the new definition of synchronization with error bound and a novel impulsive control scheme （the so-called dual-stage impulsive control）, some new and less conservative sufficient conditions are established to guarantee that the error dynamics can converge to a predetermined level, which is more reasonable and rigorous than the existing results. In particular, some simpler and more convenient conditions are derived by taking the same impulsive distances and control gains. Finally, some numerical simulations for the Lorenz system and the Chen system are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.

This paper concerns the absolute stability problem of discrete-time descriptor systems with feedback connected ferromagnetic hysteresis nonlinearities. The ferromagnetic hysteresis model satisfies the passivity conditions of hysteresis operator, that is the input-output relation of the transformed operator is passive. The bound condition of the solution of the ferromagnetic hysteresis model is given. Through the framework of loop transformation, an augmented discrete-time descriptor system model is established for the stability analysis. A new extended Tsypkin criterion for the absolute stability of discrete-time descriptor systems with hysteresis is presented based on the linear matrix inequalities technique. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the extended criterion.

The quantum bacterial foraging optimization(QBFO)algorithm has the characteristics of strong robustness and global searching ability. In the classical QBFO algorithm, the rotation angle updated by the rotation gate is discrete and constant,which cannot affect the situation of the solution space and limit the diversity of bacterial population. In this paper, an improved QBFO(IQBFO) algorithm is proposed, which can adaptively make the quantum rotation angle continuously updated and enhance the global search ability. In the initialization process, the modified probability of the optimal rotation angle is introduced to avoid the existence of invariant solutions. The modified operator of probability amplitude is adopted to further increase the population *** tests based on benchmark functions verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Moreover, compared with the integerorder PID controller, the fractional-order proportion integration differentiation(PID) controller increases the complexity of the system with better flexibility and robustness. Thus the fractional-order PID controller is applied to the servo system. The tuning results of PID parameters of the fractional-order servo system show that the proposed algorithm has a good performance in tuning the PID parameters of the fractional-order servo system.

This paper is concerned with the problem of robust stability for a class of Markovian jumping stochastic neural networks （MJSNNs） subject to mode-dependent time-varying interval delay and state-multiplicative noise. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and a stochastic analysis approach, some new delay-dependent sufficient conditions are obtained in the linear matrix inequality （LMI） format such that delayed MJSNNs are globally asymptotically stable in the mean-square sense for all admissible uncertainties. An important feature of the results is that the stability criteria are dependent on not only the lower bound and upper bound of delay for all modes but also the covariance matrix consisting of the correlation coefficient. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness.
