Treadmill exercise in combination with acousto-optic and olfactory stimulation improves cognitive function in APP/PS1 mice through the brain-derived neurotrophic factor-and Cygb-associated signaling pathways

A reduction in adult neurogenesis is associated with behavioral abnormalities in patients with Alzheimer's ***,enhancing adult neurogenesis represents a promising therapeutic approach for mitigating disease symptoms and ***,nonpharmacological interventions aimed at inducing adult neurogenesis are currently *** individual non-pharmacological interventions,such as aerobic exercise,acousto-optic stimulation,and olfactory stimulation,have shown limited capacity to improve neurogenesis and cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease,the therapeutic effect of a strategy that combines these interventions has not been fully *** this study,we observed an age-dependent decrease in adult neurogenesis and a concurrent increase in amyloid-beta accumulation in the hippocampus of amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice aged 2-8 *** deposition became evident at 4 months,while neurogenesis declined by 6 months,further deteriorating as the disease ***,following a 4-week multifactor stimulation protocol,which encompassed treadmill running(46 min/d,10 m/min,6 days per week),40 Hz acousto-optic stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),and olfactory stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),we found a significant increase in the number of newborn cells(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive cells),immature neurons(doublecortin-positive cells),newborn immature neurons(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/doublecortin-positive cells),and newborn astrocytes(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/glial fibrillary acidic protein-positive cells).Additionally,the amyloid-beta load in the hippocampus *** findings suggest that multifactor stimulation can enhance adult hippocampal neurogenesis and mitigate amyloid-beta neuropathology in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 ***,cognitive abilities were improved,and depressive symptoms were alleviated in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice

Coupled-resonator-induced transparency in two microspheres as the element of angular velocity sensing

We proposed a two-coupled microsphere resonator structure as the element of angular velocity sensing under the Sagnac *** analyzed the theoretical model of the two coupled microspheres,and derived the coupled-resonatorinduced transparency（CRIT） transfer function,the effective phase shift,and the group *** were also carried out to demonstrate the CRIT phenomenon in the two-coupled microsphere resonator *** calculated that the group index of the two-coupled sphere reaches n_g = 180.46,while the input light at a wavelength of 1550 nm.

High-Q micro-ring resonators and grating couplers for silicon-on-insulator integrated photonic circuits

An ultra-small integrated photonic circuit has been proposed,which incorporates a high-quality-factor passive micro-ring resonator（MR） linked to a vertical grating coupler on a standard silicon-on-insulator（SOI） *** experimental results demonstrate that the MR propagation loss is 0.532 dB/cm with a 10μm radius ring resonator,the intrinsic quality factor is as high as 202.000,the waveguide grating wavelength response curve is a 1 dB bandwidth of 40 nm at 1540 nm telecommunication wavelengths,and the measured fiber-to-fiber coupling loss is 10 ***,the resonator wavelength temperature dependence of the 450 nm wide micro-ring resonator is 54.1 pm/℃.Such vertical grating coupler and low loss MR-integrated components greatly promote a key element in biosensors and high-speed interconnect communication applications.

Raman scattering studies on PZT thin films for trigonal-tetragonal phase transition

PZT thin films were successfully prepared through sol-gel. The annealing temperature was confirmed through DTA analyzing. The trigonal and tetragonal phase transition was analyzed through Raman scattering. The intensity of the A1（2TO） mode and the A1（3TO）T mode were enhanced with the increase of the annealing temperature. So, the conclusions were obtained that the trigonal phase turned into a tetragonal phase as temperature increased.

The utilization of iron coke provides a green pathway for low-carbon *** uncover the influence mechanism of iron ore on the behavior and kinetics of iron coke gasification,the effect of iron ore on the microstructure of iron coke was ***,a comparative study of the gasification reactions between iron coke and coke was conducted through non-isothermal thermogravimetric *** findings indicate that compared to coke,iron coke exhibits an augmentation in micropores and specific surface area,and the micropores further extend and *** provides more adsorption sites for CO_(2) molecules during the gasification process,resulting in a reduction in the initial gasification temperature of iron *** the heating rate in non-isothermal gasification can enhance the reactivity of iron *** metallic iron reduced from iron ore is embedded in the carbon matrix,reducing the orderliness of the carbon structure,which is primarily responsible for the heightened reactivity of the carbon *** kinetic study indicates that the random pore model can effectively represent the gasification process of iron coke due to its rich pore ***,as the proportion of iron ore increases,the activation energy for the carbon gasification gradually decreases,from 246.2 kJ/mol for coke to 192.5 kJ/mol for iron coke 15wt%.

Design of a Bionic Cilia MEMS three-dimensional vibration sensor

A biomimetic three-dimensional piezoresistive vibration sensor based on MEMS technology is reported. The mechanical properties of the sensor are analyzed and the static and dynamic characteristics of the sensor are simulated by ANSYS Workbenchl2.0. The structure was made by MEMS processes including lithography, ion implantation, PECVD, etching, etc. Finally, the sensor is tested by using a TV5220 sensor auto calibration system. The results show that the lowest sensitivity of the sensor is 394.7μV/g and can reach up to 460.2 μV/g, and the dimension coupling is less than 0.6152%, and the working frequency range is 0-1000 Hz.

A Phase Readout Method for Wireless Passive Sensor Used in Pressure measurement System

A phase difference detection method used for reading the resonant frequency through mutual coupling is designed to meet the pressure measurement in harsh environments, and a testing device of integrated modular by developing the hardware circuits is *** and discussion of the novel theoretical model in the phase readout system is presented, and a pressure test platform based on the phase difference detection is also established, which is to measure the frequency of a LC resonant sensor on the basis of 96% alumina ceramic substrate. The experimental results show that the proposed phase difference readout system presents sweep-frequency detection in the range of 1–100MHz bandwidth, and a high frequency resolution of 0.006 MHz. Sensitivity of the sensor is approximately 0.225 MHz/bar from 1 bar to 2 bar. The accuracy and functionality of the phase readout system have emphasized a wider engineering application range, so that we can make it possible that the wireless passive LC resonant sensor revolves well in practical engineering occasions outside the laboratory environment.

Wireless contactless pressure measurement of an LC passive pressure sensor with a novel antenna for high-temperature applications

In this paper, a novel antenna is proposed for high-temperature testing, which can make the high-temperature pressure characteristics of a wireless passive ceramic pressure sensor demonstrated at up to a temperature of 600℃. The design parameters of the antenna are similar to those of the sensor, which will increase the coupling strength between the sensor and testing antenna. The antenna is fabricated in thick film integrated technology, and the properties of the alumina ceramic and silver ensure the feasibility of the antenna in high-temperature environments. The sensor, coupled with the ceramic antenna, is investigated using a high-temperature pressure testing platform. The experimental measurement results show that the pressure signal in a harsh environment can be detected by the frequency diversity of the sensor.

Comparison between photoluminescence spectroscopy and photoreflectance spectroscopy in CuGaSe_2 epilayer

Photoluminescence （PL） spectroscopy and photoreflectance （PR） spectroscopy are very useful techniques for studying the properties of materials. In this paper, the same material of Cu-rich metal-organic vapour phase epitaxy （MOVPE） grown CuGaSe2 layer is investigated in a temperature range from 20 to 300 K to compare these two techniques. Both PL and PR spectra appear red shifted, less intense and broadened. The temperature dependence of interband transitions is studied by using the Manoogian Leclerc equation. The values of the band gap energy at T=0K and the effective phonon temperature are estimated. The temperature dependences of intensities and broadenings of PL and PR spectral lines are also analysed. Based on the results of the comparison, the features and applications of the PL and PR can be shown in detail.
