An alternative proof of factorization theorem for Drell–Yan process that works at operator level is presented in this paper. Contributions of interactions after the hard collision for such inclusive processes are proved to be canceled at operator level according to the unitarity of time evolution operator. After this cancellation, there are no longer leading pinch singular surface in Glauber region in the time evolution of electromagnetic currents. Effects of soft gluons are absorbed into Wilson lines of scalar-polarized gluons. Cancelation of soft gluons is attribute to unitarity of time evolution operator and such Wilson lines.

We investigate optical superregular breathers in the femtosecond regime under dispersion management in an inho- mogeneous fiber governed by the nonautonomous higher-order nonlinear Schr6dinger equation （NLSE）. Exact solutions describing the dynamics of superregular breathers are obtained. Furthermore, we discuss the propagation behaviors of controllable superregular breathers, including stabilization and recurrence in an exponential dispersion fiber and a peri- odic distributed fiber system. Particularly, the nonlinear dynamics of superregular modes evolved from an identical initial small-amplitude modulation is analyzed in detail.

The operator level proof of factorization theorem exhibited in [arXiv:hep-ph/1307.4194] is extended to the semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering process(SIDIS). Factorization theorem can be proved at operator level if there are not detected soft hadrons. The key point is that the initial one-nucleon state is the eigenstate of QCD.

Neglecting the self-force and radiative effects, we follow the spirit of Wald＇s gedanken experiment and discuss whether a （2＋1）-dimensional Martinez-Teitelboim-Zanelli （MTZ） black hole can turn into a naked singularity by cap- turing a charged and massive particle. We find that after capturing a charged and massive test particle, an extremal or near-extremal MTZ black hole could turn into naked singularity, leading to a possible violation of the cosmic censorship. There exist ranges of the test particles＇ energies ＆E which allow the appearance of naked singularities from both extremal and near extremal MTZ black holes.

By throwing a particle with electric charge and angular momentum into the black holes, much evidence shows that the naked singularity of some （3＋1）-dimensional black holes might be seen, which is not allowed in the weak cosmic censorship conjecture. In this study, we consider a （2＋1）-dimensional Peldan black hole and find that it could be destroyed under certain conditions in both extreme and near-extreme cases.

Dark solitons are common topological excitations in a wide array of nonlinear waves.The dark soliton excitation energy is crucial for exploring dark soliton dynamics and is necessarily calculated in a renormalized form due to its existence on a finite background.Despite its tremendous importance and success,the renormalized energy form was at first only suggested with no detailed derivation,and was then"derived"in the grand canonical ensemble.We revisit this fundamental problem and provide an alternative and intuitive derivation of the energy form from the fundamental Held energy by utilizing a limiting procedure that conserves number of particles.Our derivation yields the same result,thus putting the dark soliton energy form on a solid basis.

The mechanical properties, thermal properties, electronic structures, and optical properties of the defect perovskites Cs2SnX6（X = Cl, Br, I） were investigated by first-principles calculation using PBE and HSE06 hybrid functional. The optic band gaps based on HSE06 are 3.83 eV for Cs2SnCl6, 2.36 eV for Cs2SnBr6, and 0.92 eV for Cs2SnI6, which agree with the experimental results. The Cs2SnCl6, Cs2SnBr6, and Cs2SnI6 are mechanically stable and they are all anisotropic and ductile in nature. Electronic structures calculations show that the conduction band consists mainly of hybridization between the halogen p orbitals and Sn 5s orbitals, whereas the valence band is composed of the halogen p orbitals. Optic properties indicate that these three compounds exhibit good optical absorption in the ultraviolet region, and the absorption spectra red shift with the increase in the number of halogen atoms. The defect perovskites are good candidates for probing the lead-free and high power conversion efficiency of solar cells.

In the framework of the NRQCD factorization formalism,we calculate the decay rate for the process Υ(1 S) → ccgg to the next-to-leading order(NLO) in the relative velocity v of the b quark in the bottomonium rest frame.We also study the momentum distributions of the charm quark and the charmed-hadron in the decay.The momentum distribution of the charmed-hadron is obtained by convolving the charm quark momentum distribution with a fragmentation function of the charm quark into the hadron.In addition,we fit the nonperturbative NRQCD matrix element v 2 Υ through comparing the theoretical prediction with the measurement from the BaBar collaboration for the decay rate of Υ(1 S) → D + X.In return,taking this matrix element as an input parameter,we predict the decay rates as well as the momentum distributions for a collection of charmed-hadrons in the process Υ(1S) → ccgg → hX.
