The detection of biomarkers with both high sensitivity and specificity is crucial for the diagnosis and treatment of related ***,many current detections employ ex-situ detection method and non-confined condition,thus have many problems,which may eventually lead to inaccurate detection *** to detection in non-confined space,detection in confined space can better reflect the real in-vivo ***,the construction of detection for target molecules in confined space has great significance for both theoretical research and practical *** realize the detection of target molecules in confined space,the probes should accurately enter the confined space where the target molecules reside and interact with the ***,how to explore and utilize the properties of the interface(for example,bioinspired superwettability)has always been a hot and difficult topic in this ***,the recent advances and our efforts in recent 10 years on detection of bio-target molecules in confined space with superwettable interface have been introduced from the perspective of the detection *** suitable and most widely employed detection methods for target molecules in confined spaces are introduced ***,recent progresses for related detections based on visual,optical,and electrochemical detection methods are presented ***,the perspective for detection in confined space is discussed for the future development of biochemical detection.

Theory regarding the causation of mass extinctions is in need of systematization, which is the focus of this contribution. Every mass extinction has both an ultimate cause, i.e. the trigger that leads to various climato-environmental changes, and one or more proximate cause(s), i.e. the specific climato-environmental changes that result in elevated biotic mortality. With regard to ultimate causes, strong cases can be made that bolide(i.e. meteor) impacts, large igneous province(LIP) eruptions and bioevolutionary events have each triggered one or more of the Phanerozoic Big Five mass extinctions, and that tectono-oceanic changes have triggered some second-order extinction events. Apart from bolide impacts, other astronomical triggers(*** flares, gamma bursts and supernova explosions) remain entirely in the realm of speculation. With regard to proximate mechanisms, most extinctions are related to either carbon-release or carbon-burial processes, the former being associated with climatic warming, ocean acidification, reduced marine productivity and lower carbonate δ13C values, and the latter with climatic cooling, increased marine productivity and higher carbonate δ13C values. environmental parameters such as marine redox conditions and terrestrial weathering intensity do not show consistent relationships with carbon-cycle *** this context, mass extinction causation can be usefully classified using a matrix of ultimate and proximate factors. Among the Big Five mass extinctions, the end-Cretaceous biocrisis is an example of a bolide-triggered carbon-release event, the end-Permian and end-Triassic biocrises are examples of LIP-triggered carbon-release events, and the Late Ordovician and Late Devonian biocrises are examples of bioevolution-triggered carbon-burial events. While acid mine drainage(AMD)issues have become a topic of global concern,few studies have focused on acid drainage problems of non-mining *** conducted field research and a series of laboratory experiments to investigate the characteristics,release processes and formation of acid drainage *** rock samples and adjacent surface water,groundwater,soil and sediment samples were collected at a railway tunnel construction site in central china,and various parameters,such as the p H,mineral ion concentrations,and heavy metal concentrations,were *** on the measured concentrations,surface water and sediments were seriously contaminated by acids,sulfate salts and heavy *** in surface water showed a decreasing tendency as the distance from the spoils increased,while that in sediments showed a greater influence of coprecipitation and adsorption processes of heavy metal *** eluviation experiments of three rock samples indicated that R2(silty fine sandstone)was the most likely major acid drainage *** ferrooxidans was cultured and isolated from contaminated water to study the oxidation conditions during the release *** significant release of acid drainage when air and bacteria were both in the culture container suggested that oxygen and bacteria were necessary to produce acid drainage from spoils.

0 INTRODUCTION To relieve the short supply of suitable land for residing,cultivating,and commerce,it is accepted to reclaim land from lakes,river estuaries,and coastal regions in many countries(Mancini et al.,2020).The large-scale reclamation activities have an irreversible effect on the mico-geomorphology and hydrodynamic system of seasonally flooded areas(Zhang et al.,2019;Yu et al.,2018).For example,coastal regions reclaimed extended the groundwater flow paths,as well as created groundwater level rise,resulting in water-logging in the reclaimed area(Hu et al.,2008).Similar changes in groundwater flow systems may alter groundwater-lake water interactions,and it can ultimately affect the water cycle in the lake ***,such detailed studies are presently *** addition,natural exchanges between the lake and groundwater systems can be strongly affected by physical hydrological processes(Javadzadeh et al.,2020),chemical properties(Kamtchueng et al.,2015),and bioto behavior(Hancock et al.,2005).

The different reservoirs in deep Songliao Basin have non-homogeneous lithologies and include multiple layers with a high content of hydrogen *** gas composition and stable isotope characteristics vary significantly,but the origin analysis of different gas types has previously been *** on the geochemical parameters of gas samples from different depths and the analysis of geological settings,this research covers the diverse origins of natural gas in different *** gas components are mainly methane with a small amount of C_(2+),and non-hydrocarbon gases,including nitrogen(N_(2)),hydrogen(H_(2)),carbon dioxide(CO_(2)),and helium(He).At greater depth,the carbon isotope of methane becomes heavier,and the hydrogen isotope points to a lacustrine sedimentary *** increasing depth,the origins of N_(2)and CO_(2)change gradually from a mixture of organic and inorganic to *** origins of hydrogen gas are complex and include organic sources,water radiolysis,water-rock(Fe^(2+)-containing minerals)reactions,and *** shales of Denglouku and Shahezi Formations,as source rocks,provide the premise for generation and occurrence of organic ***,the deep faults and fluid activities in Basement Formation control the generation and migration of mantle-derived *** discovery of a high content of H_(2)in study area not only reveals the organic and inorganic association of natural-gas generation,but also provides a scientific basis for the exploration of deep hydrogen-rich gas.

INTRODUCTION In the Earth’s history,the Late Ediacaran to Early Cambrian period witnessed a series of profound changes in both Earth’s interior and surficial systems which may have made this planet more habitable for the first radiation of early animals(known as the global occurrence of Ediacaran biota;Xiao and Narbonne,2020).Among those changes,the Late Ediacaran glaciation,soon followed and accompanied by the early complex life of Ediacaran biota,attracted much attention of scientists and may have provided a good opportunity to investigate the interactions between the Earth’s surficial environment and the biosphere(e.g.,Xu et al.,2024;Zhang et al.,2023;Hoffman et al.,2017).To achieve this goal,the nature of the glaciation itself needs to be understood *** now,32 or more Ediacaran glacial deposits have been documented on almost all the existing continents(Niu et al.,2024;Wang et al.,2023a,b,c),showing a similar distribution pattern to the two Cryogenian(Sturtian and Marinoan)Snowball Earth glaciations if plotted in one single paleogeographic map(Figure 1;Niu et al.,2024;Li et al.,2013).But further compared to the Cryogenian Snowball Earth glaciations,the Late Ediacaran glaciation has some fundamentally different characteristics:(1)as shown in Figure 1,most glacial deposits are not stratigraphically overlain by the typical cap carbonate while it usually happened in the aftermath of a Snowball Earth glaciation and represented an abrupt climatic switch from extreme icehouse(global freezing)to greenhouse(global warming)condition(Hoffman et al.,2017).

As the largest intermontane basin in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau(TP),the Qaidam Basin provides unique insight into paleoclimatic change and its relationship with global change and uplift on the *** this study,based on morphological comparison,fossil fruit of Cyclocarya from the Early Oligocene Shangganchaigou Formation in the Qaidam Basin is assigned as Cyclocarya *** discovery of Cyclocarya *** demonstrates the occurrence of Cyclocarya in the Oligocene sediment in Qaidam *** is the first record of Cyclocarya fossil of Early Oligocene Age in china and indicates that Cyclocarya has existed on the northeastern TP since at least the Early *** living analogues of the current fossil now lives in sub-tropical china,where the East Asian Monsoon is *** the new fossils and previously reported fossil remains of plants and fishes,it can be inferred that the Early Oligocene Qaidam Basin was primarily influenced by westerly circulation and had a relatively warm and humid climate,which was in sharp contrast to the present-day climate in Qaidam Basin.
