Bruise susceptibility in fruits is an important indicator in evaluating risk factors for bruising caused by external *** of the bruising susceptibility of fruit can provide useful information for proper postharvest handling and storage *** this study,visible and shortwave near-infrared(Vis/SWNIR)technique was used to develop nondestructive method for predicting the bruise susceptibility of ***/SWNIR spectra covering 400-1100 nm were collected for 300‘Golden Delicious’apples over a time period of three weeks after harvest.A pendulum-like device was used to simulate impact bruise at three impact energy levels of 1.11 J,0.66 J and 0.33 *** volumes were estimated from the digital images of the bruised apples by using the bruise thickness *** prediction models,*** least squares model(PLS),partial least squares model combined with successful projection algorithm(SPA-PLS),and selective ensemble learning based on feature selection(SELFS),for bruise susceptibility were developed for each impact energy level as well as for the pooled *** with PLS and SPA-PLS model,SELFS gave the better prediction results for bruise susceptibility,with the correlation coefficient of R_(p)=0.800-0.886 for the prediction set,the root-mean-square error of 38.7-62.1 mm^(3)/J for the prediction set(RMSEP),and the residual predictive deviation(RPD)of 1.78-2.14 for three impact energy *** three impact energy levels,the RMSEP and RPD value obtained by SELFS model improved by 14.8%-20.0%and 15.0%-24.5%compared to PLS model,and 11.4%-21.2%and 11.5%-27.1%compared to SPA-PLS model,*** SELFS model achieved relatively lower prediction accuracies for the pooled data,with the R_(p) values of 0.731,RMSEP of 85.46 mm^(3)/J,and RPD of 1.46,which were also better than that of PLS model and SPA-PLS *** research demonstrated that Vis/SWNIR technique combined with ensemble learning is promising technique for rapid assessment of

The Bayesian approach is considered as the most general formulation of the state estimation for dynamic systems. However, most of the existing Bayesian estimators of stochastic hybrid systems only focus on the Markov jump system, few liter- ature is related to the estimation problem of nonlinear stochastic hybrid systems with state dependent transitions. According to this problem, a new methodology which relaxes quite a restrictive as- sumption that the mode transition process must satisfy Markov properties is proposed. In this method, a general approach is presented to model the state dependent transitions, the state and output spaces are discreted into cell space which handles the nonlinearities and computationally intensive problem offline. Then maximum a posterior estimation is obtained by using the Bayesian theory. The efficacy of the estimator is illustrated by a simulated example .

The quantum bacterial foraging optimization(QBFO)algorithm has the characteristics of strong robustness and global searching ability. In the classical QBFO algorithm, the rotation angle updated by the rotation gate is discrete and constant,which cannot affect the situation of the solution space and limit the diversity of bacterial population. In this paper, an improved QBFO(IQBFO) algorithm is proposed, which can adaptively make the quantum rotation angle continuously updated and enhance the global search ability. In the initialization process, the modified probability of the optimal rotation angle is introduced to avoid the existence of invariant solutions. The modified operator of probability amplitude is adopted to further increase the population *** tests based on benchmark functions verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Moreover, compared with the integerorder PID controller, the fractional-order proportion integration differentiation(PID) controller increases the complexity of the system with better flexibility and robustness. Thus the fractional-order PID controller is applied to the servo system. The tuning results of PID parameters of the fractional-order servo system show that the proposed algorithm has a good performance in tuning the PID parameters of the fractional-order servo system.

This paper investigates the estimation problem for a spatially distributed process described by a partial differential equation with missing *** randomly missing measurements are introduced in order to better reflect the reality in the sensor *** improve the estimation performance for the spatially distributed process,a network of sensors which are allowed to move within the spatial domain is *** aim to design an estimator which is used to approximate the distributed process and the mobile trajectories for sensors such that,for all possible missing measurements,the estimation error system is globally asymptotically stable in the mean square *** constructing Lyapunov functionals and using inequality analysis,the guidance scheme of every sensor and the convergence of the estimation error system are ***,a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed estimator utilizing the proposed guidance scheme for sensors.

Inspired by the fact that in most existing swarm models of multi-agent systems the velocity of an agent can be infinite, which is not in accordance with the real applications, we propose a novel swarm model of multi-agent systems where the velocity of an agent is finite. The Lyapunov function method and LaSalle＇s invariance principle are employed to show that by using the proposed model all of the agents eventually enter into a bounded region around the swarm center and finally tend to a stationary state. Numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

This paper studies the parameter estimation problems of the nonlinear systems described by the bilinear state space models in the presence of disturbances.A bilinear state observer is designed for deriving identification algorithms to estimate the state variables using the input-output *** on the bilinear state observer,a novel gradient iterative algorithm is derived for estimating the parameters of the bilinear systems by means of the continuous mixed p-norm cost *** gain at each iterative step adapts to the data quality so that the algorithm has good robustness to the noise ***,to improve the performance of the proposed algorithm,a dynamicmoving window is designed which can update the dynamical data by removing the oldest data and adding the newestmeasurement data.A numerical example of identification of bilinear systems is presented to validate the theoretical analysis.

The control problem of a class of parabolic distributed parameter systems (DPSs) is investigated by using mobile agents with capabilities of sensing and actuating. The guidance strategies of mobile agents based on coverage optimization methods are proposed to improve the control performance of the system and make the state norm of the system converge to zero faster. The coverage optimization problems are constructed based on the measurement of each agent. By solving the coverage optimization problems, the local optimal moving direction of each agent can be obtained. Then the gradient-based agent motion control laws are established. With the indicator function and the surface delta function, this method is generalized to n-dimensional space, and suitable for any sensing region with piecewise smooth boundaries. The stability and control performance of the system are analyzed. Numerical simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
