In artificial intelligence(AI)based-complex power system management and control technology,one of the urgent tasks is to evaluate AI intelligence and invent a way of autonomous intelligence ***,there is,currently,nearly no standard technical framework for objective and quantitative intelligence *** this article,based on a parallel system framework,a method is established to objectively and quantitatively assess the intelligence level of an AI agent for active power corrective control of modern power systems,by resorting to human intelligence evaluation *** this basis,this article puts forward an AI self-evolution method based on intelligence assessment through embedding a quantitative intelligence assessment method into automated reinforcement learning(AutoRL)systems.A parallel system based quantitative assessment and self-evolution(PLASE)system for power grid corrective control AI is thereby constructed,taking Bayesian Optimization as the measure of AI evolution to fulfill autonomous evolution of AI under guidance of their intelligence assessment *** results exemplified in the power grid corrective control AI agent show the PLASE system can reliably and quantitatively assess the intelligence level of the power grid corrective control agent,and it could promote evolution of the power grid corrective control agent under guidance of intelligence assessment results,effectively,as well as intuitively improving its intelligence level through selfevolution.

Inverter-based distributed generations(IBDGs)are the main approach to utilizing clean energy in distribution networks(DNs).Compared with synchronous source,fault response of IBDG is very *** a result,in DNs with high penetration of IBDGs,legacy protection schemes will no longer be *** this paper,an energy-based directional pilot protection scheme suitabie for DNs with IBDGs is *** scheme considers the large range of phase angle caused by IBDG integration and uses improved energy polarity criterion to determine fault *** addition,magnitude of energy is used to distinguish between faults and load switching to overcome maloperation of directional pilot protection caused by internal unmeasured load *** proposed scheme first uses local measured information to determine fault direction sign and then exchanges the direction sign with the remote *** scheme does not require high-bandwidth communication and strict data synchronization,so it can be implemented at a low ***,simulation studies verify effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Crystallization management of CsPbI2Br perovskites by PbAc2-incorporated twice spin-coating process for efficient and stable CsPbI2Br perovskite solar cells

CsPbI2Br perovskite solar cell has been extensively studied due to its exceptional thermal stability and relatively stable perovskite phase ***,the presence of bromine leads to a rapid crystallization rate of CsPbI2Br films,resulting in small grain size and high defect ***,CsPbI2Br demonstrates poor light absorption due to its wide ***,it is crucial to control the crystallization rate and increase the film thickness to reduce defect density,enhance light absorption,and improve photovoltaic *** this study,we utilized a PbAc2-incorporated twice spincoating（PTS） process to address these ***,PbAc2was added to the CsPbI2Br precursor solution to form a CsPbI2Br film,which was then coated with the CsPbI2Br precursor solution to produce the PTS film,Ac-can delay the perovskite crystallization,leading to the formation of thicker and denser CsPbI2Br ***,lone-pair electrons of the oxygen atom provided by Ac-formed coordination bonds with under-coordinated Pb2+ions to fill halogen ion vacancies,thereby reducing the defect ***,the PTS CsPbI2Br device achieved a peak power conversion efficiency（PCE） of 16.19% and maintained 96.7% of its initial PCE over 1500 h at room temperature under 25% relative humidity without any encapsulation.

Passive jamming is believed to have very good potential in countermeasure *** this paper,a passive angular blinking jamming method based on electronically controlled corner reflectors is *** amplitude of the incident wave can be modulated by switching the corner reflector between the penetration state and the reflection state,and the ensemble of multiple corner reflectors with towing rope can result in complex angle decoying *** of the decoying effect on corner reflectors’radar cross section and positions are analyzed and *** show that the angle measured by a monopulse radar can be significantly interfered by this method while the automatic tracking is employed.

Challenges and perspectives of air pollution control in China

Air pollution is one of the most challenging environmental issues in the *** has achieved remarkable success in improving air quality in last decade as a result of aggressive air pollution control ***,the average fine particulate matter(PM2.5)concentration in China is still about six times of the World Health Organization(WHO)Global Air Quality Guidelines(AQG)and causing significant human health *** emission reductions of multiple air pollutants are required for China to achieve the *** we identify the major challenges in future air quality improvement and propose corresponding control *** main challenges include the persistently high health risk attributed to PM2.5 pollution,the excessively loose air quality standards,and coordinated control of air pollution,greenhouse gases(GHGs)emissions and emerging *** further improve air quality and protect human health,a health-oriented air pollution control strategy shall be implemented by tightening the air quality standards as well as optimizing emission reduction pathways based on the health risks of various *** the meantime,an“oneatmosphere”concept shall be adopted to strengthen the synergistic control of air pollutants and GHGs and the control of non-combustion sources and emerging pollutants shall be enhanced.

On the Polygonal Wear Evolution of Heavy-Haul Locomotive Wheels due to Wheel/Rail Flexibility and Its Mitigation Measures

Wheel polygonal wear can immensely worsen wheel/rail interactions and vibration performances of the train and track,and ultimately,lead to the shortening of service life of railway *** present,wheel/rail medium-or high-frequency frictional interactions are perceived as an essential reason of the high-order polygonal wear of railway wheels,which are potentially resulted by the flexible deformations of the train/track system or other external *** this work,the effect of wheel/rail flexibility on polygonal wear evolution of heavy-haul locomotive wheels is explored with aid of the long-term wheel polygonal wear evolution simulations,in which different flexible modeling of the heavy-haul wheel/rail coupled system is ***,the mitigation measures for the polygonal wear of heavy-haul locomotive wheels are *** results point out that the evolution of polygonal wear of heavy-haul locomotive wheels can be veritably simulated with consideration of the flexible effect of both wheelset and *** of mixed-line operation of heavy-haul trains and application of multicut wheel re-profiling can effectively reduce the development of wheel polygonal *** research can provide a deep-going understanding of polygonal wear evolution mechanism of heavy-haul locomotive wheels and its mitigation measures.

Macro-microscopic dynamic characteristics of the ballast bed induced by the variation of moisture content

Due to the excellent drainage performance of the ballast,existing studies mainly focus on the dynamic response of ballast under field capacity or *** has rarely been paid to dynamic changes in moisture content and potential *** this article,we firstly conduct a model test to determine the variation of ballast moisture content under artificial *** that,a full-scale model test with cyclic loading is carried out to study the effect of moisture content variation on the macro-microscopic response of the ballast bed,where several wireless particle sensors are installed to obtain ballast motion characteristics at strategic *** results show that the moisture content increases gradually and stabilizes at a flat peak under rainfall,despite the excellent drainage performance of ballast *** halting rainfall,the moisture content drops back to field capacity,which indicates dynamic flowing surface water on ballast particles under *** flowing surface water brings changes to the original dynamic equilibrium of ballast bed:macroscopically,the deformation rate of stabilized ballast bed increases significantly,reaching a local peak under field capacity;microscopically,the x-and z-angular accelerations of the ballast show positive correlation with rainfall *** multiscale responses indicate that field capacity is a critical moisture content.

Analysis of the optimal target node to reduce seizure-like discharge in networks

Network approaches have been widely accepted to guide surgical strategy and predict outcome for epilepsy *** study starts with a single oscillator to explore brain activity,using a phenomenological model capable of describing healthy and epileptic *** ictal number of seizures decreases or remains unchanged with increasing the speed of oscillator excitability and in each seizure,there is an increasing tendency for ictal duration with respect to the *** underlying reason is that the strong excitability speed is conducive to reduce transition behaviors between two attractor ***,the selection of the optimal removal node is estimated by an indicator proposed in this *** show that when the indicator is less than the threshold,removing the driving node is more possible to reduce seizures significantly,while the indicator exceeds the threshold,the epileptic node could be the removal ***,the driving node is such a potential target that stimulating it is obviously effective in suppressing seizure-like activity compared to other nodes,and the propensity of seizures can be reduced 60%with the increased stimulus *** results could provide new therapeutic ideas for epilepsy surgery and neuromodulation.

Aerial target threat assessment based on gated recurrent unit and self-attention mechanism

Aerial threat assessment is a crucial link in modern air combat, whose result counts a great deal for commanders to make decisions. With the consideration that the existing threat assessment methods have difficulties in dealing with high dimensional time series target data, a threat assessment method based on self-attention mechanism and gated recurrent unit(SAGRU) is proposed. Firstly, a threat feature system including air combat situations and capability features is established. Moreover, a data augmentation process based on fractional Fourier transform(FRFT) is applied to extract more valuable information from time series situation features. Furthermore, aiming to capture key characteristics of battlefield evolution, a bidirectional GRU and SA mechanisms are designed for enhanced ***, after the concatenation of the processed air combat situation and capability features, the target threat level will be predicted by fully connected neural layers and the softmax classifier. Finally, in order to validate this model, an air combat dataset generated by a combat simulation system is introduced for model training and testing. The comparison experiments show the proposed model has structural rationality and can perform threat assessment faster and more accurately than the other existing models based on deep learning.
