It is challenging for aqueous Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs)to achieve comparable low-temperature(low-T)performance due to the easy-frozen electrolyte and severe Zn ***,an aqueous electrolyte with a low freezing point and high ionic conductivity is *** with molecular dynamics simulation and multi-scale interface analysis(time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry threedimensional mapping and in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method),the temperature independence of the V_(2)O_(5)cathode and Zn anode is observed to be ***,dominated by the solvent structure of the designed electrolyte at low temperatures,vanadium dissolution/shuttle is significantly inhibited,and the zinc dendrites caused by this electrochemical crosstalk are greatly relieved,thus showing an abnormal temperature inversion *** the disclosure and improvement of the above phenomena,the designed Zn||V_(2)O_(5)full cell delivers superior low-T performance,maintaining almost 99%capacity retention after 9500 cycles(working more than 2500 h)at-20°*** work proposes a kind of electrolyte suitable for low-T ZIBs and reveals the inverse temperature dependence of the Zn anode,which might offer a novel perspective for the investigation of low-T aqueous battery systems.

Two-dimensional function photonic crystals, in which the dielectric constants of medium columns are the functions of space coordinates , are proposed and studied numerically. The band gaps structures of the photonic crystals for TE and TM waves are different from the two-dimensional conventional photonic crystals. Some absolute band gaps and semiDirac points are found. When the medium column radius and the function form of the dielectric constant are modulated, the numbers, width, and position of band gaps are changed, and the semi-Dirac point can either occur or disappear. Therefore,the special band gaps structures and semi-Dirac points can be achieved through the modulation on the two-dimensional function photonic crystals. The results will provide a new design method of optical devices based on the two-dimensional function photonic crystals.

Based on the unconformities, the formation times of structures, and geological wave filtering applied to basin fills of typical wells around the Manjiaer area in the Tarim basin, the wave tectono-sedimentary processes in the Tarim Basin are discussed. The results of geological wave filtering of basin fills of typical wells show that, in time domain, the evolution of the Tarim basin was controlled by various wave processes with the periods of 740±Ma, 200±Ma, 100±Ma and 30±Ma. The analyses of basin fills, basin subsidence and unconformities show that the trends of the sedimentary facies belts, depocenters, and centers of subsidence migrated and interchanged periodically with periods of 200±Ma. These show the propagation of wave movements in space domain. The wave evolution of the Tarim basin is of significance to understanding the formation of the oil and gas reservoirs in the basin.

The effects of Ce-rich RE on the microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast Mg-8Li-3Al-2Zn-0.5Nd-x RE(x = 0, 1, 2, 3 wt%) alloys were investigated. The results indicated that the as-cast Mg-8Li-3Al-2Zn-0.5Nd alloy mainly consisted of α-Mg, β-Li, AlLi, MgLi2 Al and Al2 Nd phases. With the addition of Ce-rich RE in the alloy,Al3 RE and Al2 RE phases generated and gradually grew into net-like or block-like structure. With the addition of RE, Al-RE phases generated by consuming Al element and, thus, less Al element was dissolved in the matrix and less AlLi phase formed. Furthermore, less AlLi phase means that more Li element released to cause the increase ofβ-Li phase and refine the α-Mg phase. Under the influence of these factors, adding more RE led to higher elongation and lower tensile strength and hardness. With the addition of Ce-rich RE, the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the as-cast Mg-8Li-3Al-2Zn-0.5Nd alloy gradually decreased from 180 to 152 MPa and from 215 to 193 MPa, respectively, while the elongation was remarkably improved from 21.1% to 40.2%.

We report spectral and timing analysis of the black hole transient MAXI J1631–479 during the hard intermediate state of its 2019 outburst from the Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT)*** find that the energy dependence of the type-C quasi-periodic oscillation(QPO)frequency evolves with time:during the initial rise of a small flare(~MJD 58526.0-58527.1),the QPO frequency increases with increasing energy from~1 to~100 ke V,and then the frequency remains constant after MJD *** discover a possible new phenomenon of Fe line’s QPO frequency jump that has never been observed for other black hole transients:during the small flare,the QPO frequency around the Fe line energy is higher than any other energy band,with the frequency difference Δf=0.25±0.08 Hz between 5.5–7.5 ke V and other energy *** spectral analysis shows that the evolution of QPOs is related to the equivalent width of the narrow Fe line,and its equivalent width increases during this small *** propose that the QPO frequency difference results from the differential precession of a vertically extended jet,and the higher QPO frequency of Fe line could be caused by the layered jet when the jet scale *** the same time,the evolution of QPOs is related to the accretion rate,while the energy dependence of QPOs supports the existence of deceleration in the vertically distributed jet.

Intelligent structures like zero Poisson’s ratio(ZPR)cellular structures have been widely applied to the engineering fields such as morphing wings in recent decades,owing to their outstanding characteristics including light weight and low effective modulus. In-plane and out-of-plane mechanical properties of ZPR cellular structures are investigated in this paper. A theoretical method for calculating in-plane tensile modulus,in-plane shear modulus and out-of-plane bending modulus of ZPR cellular structures is proposed,and the impacts of the unit cell geometrical configurations on in-plane tensile modulus,in-plane shear modulus and out-of-plane bending modulus are studied systematically based on finite element(FE)simulation. Experimental tests validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the theoretical and FE analysis. And the results show that the in-plane and out-of-plane mechanical properties of ZPR cellular structures can be manipulated by designing cell geometrical parameters.

A Ti_(6)-core-based titanium oxo cluster (TOC)[Ti_(6)(m_(2)-O)_(2)(m_(3)-O)_(2)(Bpo)_(2)(PhCOO)_8(Oi Pr)_4]assembled by 2,2'-biphenol (H_(2)Bpo) and benzoic acid has been synthesized and characterized by IR,elemental analyses,thermogravimetric analysis and X-ray diffraction ***-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the complex crystallizes in monoclinic system,space group P2_(1)/*** structure contains two Ti_(3)(m_(3)-O) units featuring a flat mode as building ***-state UV/Vis absorption spectrum reveals that complex 1 shows a wide range from 240 to 650 ***,the optical band gap of 1 is estimated to be 2.35 ***,the Ti_6-TOC exhibits good photocurrent response.
