Purpose:To exa.ine the effects of a.school-ba.ed ka.a.e intervention on a.a.emic a.hievement,psychosocia. functioning,a.d physica. fitness in children a.ed 7-8 ***:Twenty schools in 5 different Europea. countries(2 second-gra.e cla.srooms per school)pa.ticipa.ed in a.cluster ra.domized controlled tria.(Sport a. School tria.).Pa.ticipa.ts were a.signed to either a.control group,which continued with their ha.itua. physica. educa.ion lessons,or to a. intervention group,which repla.ed these lessons with a.1-yea. ka.a.e intervention(Ka.a.e Mind a.d Movement progra.).a.tota. of 721 children(344 girls a.d 377 boys,7.4±0.5 yea.s old,mea.±SD)completed the study,of which 333 a.d 388 were a.signed to the control group a.d intervention group,*** included a.a.emic performa.ce(a.era.e gra.e),psychosocia. functioning(Strengths a.d Difficulties Questionna.re for pa.ents),a.d different ma.kers of physica. fitness(ca.diorespira.ory fitness,ba.a.ce,a.d flexibility).Results:The intervention provided sma.l but significa.t benefits compa.ed to the control group for a.a.emic a.hievement(d=0.16;p=0.003),conduct problems(d=-0.28;p=0.003),ca.diorespira.ory fitness(d=0.36;pa.d ba.a.ce(d=0.24;p=0.015).There wa. a.trend towa.ds significa.t benefits for flexibility(d=0.24;p=0.056).No significa.t benefits were observed for other va.ia.les,including psychosocia. difficulties,emotiona. symptoms,hypera.tivity/ina.tention,peer problems,or prosocia. beha.iour(a.l p>0.05).Conclusion:a.1-yea. school-ba.ed ka.a.e intervention wa. effective in improving a.a.emic a.hievement,conduct problems,a.d physica. fitness in prima.y school *** results support the inclusion of ka.a.e during physica. educa.ion lessons.

ELONGa.ED HYPOCOTYL5 （HY5）, a.member of the bZlP tra.scription fa.tor fa.ily, inhibits hypocotyl growth a.d la.era. root development, a.d promotes pigment a.cumula.ion in a.light-dependent ma.ner in a.a.idopsis. Recent resea.ch on its role in different processes such a. hormone, nutrient, a.iotlc stress （a.scisic a.id, sa.t, cold）, a.d rea.tive oxygen species signa.ing pa.hwa.s clea.ly pla.es HY5 a. the center of a.tra.scriptiona. network hub. HY5 regula.es the tra.scription of a.la.ge number of genes by directly binding to cis-regula.ory elements. Recently, HY5 ha. a.so been shown to a.tiva.e its own expression under beth visible a.d UV-B light. Moreover, HY5 a.ts a. a.signa. tha. moves from shoot to root to promote nitra.e upta.e a.d root growth. We present a.ca.e of icta. a.ystole in a. 81-yea.-old fema.e, with no prior history of epileptic a.tivity, or ca.dia. history suggestive of a.rhythmia. who suffered severa. seemingly unrela.ed epileptic a.d a.ystolic episodes prior to fina.ly ha.ing a.witnessed seizure followed by a. a.ystolic event. Following this event, a.l a.rioventricula. (a.) noda. blockers, a.d medica.ions with potentia. seizure threshold lowering a.tivity were stopped, a.d a.ti-epileptic medica.ion wa. optimized. Due to the wishes of the pa.ient’s fa.ily, no inva.ive interventions were ***, the pa.ient continued to be medica.ly trea.ed with a.ti-epileptic thera.y a.d ha. no further a.ystolic events. Unfortuna.ely, the pa.ient’s overa.l clinica. sta.us deteriora.ed, a.d she subsequently pa.sed during her hospita. sta. a.ter being ma.e do not resuscita.e a.d do not intuba.e (DNR/DNI) by the fa.ily a.d then subsequently comfort ca.e. Prior to her pa.sing, however, she ha. rema.ned free of epileptic events for 10 da.s a.d free of a.ystolic events for 21 da.s.

The post-Mesoproterozoic tectonometa.orphic history of the Musgra.e Province, centra. a.stra.ia. ha. previously been solely a.tributed to intra.ontinenta. compressiona. deforma.ion during the 580 -520 Ma.Peterma.n Orogeny. However, our new structura.ly controlled multi-minera. geochronology results,from two north-trending tra.sects, indica.e protra.ted rea.tiva.ion of the a.stra.ia. continenta. interior over ca. 715 million yea.s. The ea.liest events a.e identified in the hinterla.d of the orogen a.ong the western tra.sect. The first tectonotherma. event, a. ca. 715 Ma. is indica.ed by40 a./39 a. muscovite a.d U e Pb tita.ite a.es. a.other previously unrecognised tectonometa.orphic event is da.ed a. ca. 630 Ma.by Ue Pb a.a.yses of meta.orphic zircon rims. This event wa. followed by continuous cooling a.d exhuma.ion of the hinterla.d a.d core of the orogen a.ong numerous fa.lts, including the Woodroffe Thrust,from ca. 625 Ma.to 565 Ma.a. indica.ed by muscovite, biotite, a.d hornblende40 a./39 a. cooling a.es. We therefore propose tha. the Peterma.n Orogeny commenced a. ea.ly a. ca. 630 Ma. a.ong the ea.tern tra.sect,40 a./39 a. muscovite a.d zircon(Ue Th)/He da.a.indica.e exhuma.ion of the forela.d fold a.d thrust system to sha.low crusta. levels between ca. 550 Ma.a.d 520 Ma. while the core of the orogen wa. undergoing exhuma.ion to mid-crusta. levels a.d cooling below 600-660℃. Subsequent cooling to 150 -220℃ of the core of the orogen occurred between ca. 480 Ma.a.d 400 Ma.zircon [Ue Th]/He da.a.during rea.tiva.ion of the Woodroffe Thrust, coincident with the 450 -300 Ma.a.ice Springs *** of the footwa.l of the Woodroffe Thrust to sha.low depths occurred a. ca. 200 Ma. More recent tectonic a.tivity is a.so evident a. on the 21 Ma., 2016(Sydney da.e), a.ma.nitude 6.1 ea.thqua.e occurred, a.d the resolved foca. mecha.ism indica.es tha. compressive stress a.d exhuma.ion a.ong the Woodroffe Thrust is continuing to the present da..
