Effects of freezing intensity on soil solution nitrogen and microbial biomass nitrogen in an alpine grassland ecosystem on the Tibetan Plateau,China

The change of freeze-thaw pattern of the Tibetan Plateau under climate warming is bound to have a profound impact on the soil process of alpine grassland ecosystem;however,the research on the impact of the freeze-thaw action on nitrogen processes of the alpine grassland ecosystem on the Tibetan Plateau has not yet attracted much *** this study,the impact of the freezing strength on the soil nitrogen components of alpine grassland on the Tibetan Plateau was studied through laboratory freeze-thaw simulation *** 0–10 cm topsoil was collected from the alpine marsh meadow and alpine meadow in the permafrost region of Beilu *** the experiment,the soil samples were cultivated at –10℃,–7℃,–5℃,–3℃ and –1℃,respectively for three days and then thawed at 2℃ for one *** results showed that after the freeze-thaw process,the soil microbial biomass nitrogen significantly decreased while the dissolved organic nitrogen and inorganic nitrogen significantly *** the freezing temperature was below –7℃,there was no significant difference between the content of nitrogen components,which implied a change of each nitrogen component might have a response threshold toward the freezing *** the freeze-thaw process can lead to the risk of nitrogen loss in the alpine grassland ecosystem,more attention should be paid to the response of the soil nitrogen cycle of alpine grasslands on the Tibetan Plateau to the freeze-thaw process.

Gasdermin-D（GSDMD） translocates to plasma membrane and forms pore-like structures upon stimulation by activated inflammasomes and bacterial lipid polysaccharide（LPS）.We have shown that TRIM promotes GSDMD to form high-order oligomers and positively regulates cell *** formed liquid-like phase separation upon stimulation by *** promoted GSDMD phase separation to regulate cell *** separation of GSDMD was mediated by the N-terminal domain and regulated by the C-terminal *** metal ions enhanced cell pyroptosis by promoting GSDMD phase *** results demonstrated that TRIM induced phase separation of GSDMD regulates pyroptotic cell death.

Pan-cancer analysis identifies RNA helicase DDX1 as a prognostic marker

The DEAD-box RNA helicase(DDX)family plays a critical role in the growth and development of multiple ***1 is involved in mRNA/rRNA processing and mature,virus replication and transcription,hormone metabolism,tumo-rigenesis,and tumor ***,how DDX1 functions in various cancers remains ***,we explored the potential oncogenic roles of DDX1 across 33 tumors with The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)and the Genotype-Tissue Expression(GTEx)***1 is highly expressed in breast cancer(BRCA),cholangiocarcinoma(CHOL),and colon adenocarcinoma(COAD),but it is lowly expressed in renal cancers,including kidney renal clear cell carcinoma(KIRC),kidney chromophobe(KICH),and kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma(KIRP).Low expression of DDX1 in KIRC is cor-related with a good prognosis of overall survival(OS)and disease-free survival(DFS).Highly expressed DDX1 is linked to a poor prognosis of OS for adrenocortical carcinoma(ACC),bladder urothelial carcinoma(BLCA),KICH,and liver hepatocellular carcinoma(LIHC).Also,the residue Ser481 of DDX1 had an enhanced phosphorylation level in BRCA and ovarian cancer(OV)but decreased in *** infiltration analysis exhibited that DDX1 expression affected CD8+T cells,and it was significantly associated with MSI(microsatellite instability),TMB(tumor mutational burden),and ICT(immune checkpoint blockade therapy)in *** addition,the depletion of DDX1 dramatically affected the cell viability of human tumor-derived cell ***1 could affect the DNA repair pathway and the RNA transport/DNA replication processes during tumorigenesis by analyzing the CancerSEA ***,our pan-cancer analysis revealed that DDX1 had complicated impacts on different cancers and might act as a prognostic marker for cancers such as renal cancer.

One-stage apertura thoracis superior approach for fourvessel occlusion in rats

Objective：There are a great number of modified models based on the four-vessel occlusion（4VO）model of Pulsinelli and Brierley which has been used worldwide for brain ischemia ***,up to now the problems of collateral circulations of 4VO and the difficulty in arranging a surgery to occlude the basilar artery in other models are not satisfactorily solved *** this study,an improved 4-vessel occlusion（I4VO）rat model which is easy to handle and able to decrease the effect of collateral circulation is ***：The common carotid arteries and the beginning of the subclavical arteries of rats were occluded for different time by one-stage apertura thoracis superior *** deficit scores defined by the modified Garcia scoring system and histopathological method were used to evaluate the effects of this model up to 7 days after ***：The neurological scores in the 15-min and 25-min groups decreased significantly at 24,48 and 72 hours after reperfusion（P〈0.05）,and the histopathologic study showed that there were stable,symmetrical changes of lesions in bilateral hippocampus in all the ischemia samples from two ischemia groups compared with sham operated group（P〈0.05）.Conclusion：This modified model is safe,easy,reliable,stable,mini-invasive as well as time-saving in making bilateral hemispheric ischemia,which can effectively decrease collateral circulations and meanwhile lead to stable lesions in hippocampus and cortex.

Discussion on origin of clay minerals in outcropped sandstone from Lower Cretaceous Chengzihe Formation and Muling Formation in jixi Basin

Clay minerals in the outcropped sandstone from Lower Cretaceous Chengzihe Formation and Muling Formation in jixi Basin were analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The results show that the clay minerals mainly consist of illite, kaollinite and illite/smectite, which can be divided into two types： kaolinite- and illite/smectite types. The outcropped sandstone occurred in middle diagenetic stage-A on the basis of the clay mineral composition. The development factor of the formation of kaolinite type clay mineral is caused mainly by the organic acid from the coal-bearing formation and nmdstone during the diagenesis process in Lower Cretaceous Chengzihe Formation and Muling Formation in the jixi Basin. The weak hydrodynamic force of sedimentary facies made the sandstone leaching condition poor, which is the reason forming the aggregation of clay minerals of the illite/ smectite-and illite types.

The Key Role of Aptian-Albian Marine Fossils from Eastern Heilongjiang in Marine-Nonmarine Stratigraphic Correlation

The alternating marine and nonmarine coal-bearing Lower Cretaceous successions are well developed in eastern Heilongjiang, northeastern China, including the jixi Group in the west and the Longzhaogou Group in the east. The correlation of these two lithostratigraphic groups with the nonmarine Jehol Group is important for dating the exceptionally well-preserved Jehol Biota. The Early Cretaceous marine fossils recovered from eastern Heilongjiang include ammonites, bivalves, radiolarians, foraminifers and dinocysts. During the early Aptian transgression the ammonite fauna entered the Hulin and Mishan areas and the bivalve Aucellina fauna in the jixi area. This enables correlation of the marine lower part of the Chengzihe Formation of the jixi Group with the Qihulin Formation of the Longzhaogou Group.
