In this study,we aimed to assess the effect of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection on *** study comprised 110 sperm volunteers who self-reported SARS-CoV-2 infection from the Human Sperm Bank ofthe center for Reproductive Medicine,Shandong University(jinan,China).The volunteers had normal sperm concentration *** volunteer provided semen samples before and after *** selected 90 days after infection as the cutoff *** parameters within 90 days after infection of 109 volunteers(group A)were compared with semen parameters before ***,semen parameters on or after 90 days after infection of 36 volunteers(group B)were compared with semen parameters ***,based on whether the volunteers had completed the three-dose SARS-CoV-2 vaccination booster,volunteersin group A and B were further divided into two subgroups *** parameters were compared before and after infection ineach *** results showed that in this cohort population,the semen quality in volunteers with normal sperm concentrationsbefore infection decreased after SARS-CoV-2 infection within 90 days,while the semen quality returned to preinfection levels after *** completion of a three-dose SARS-CoV-2 vaccination booster may exert a protective effect on semen quality after infection.

In a two-frequency cavity driving and atom driving atom-cavity system,we find the photon blockade *** a truncated eigenstates space,we calculate the zero-delay second-order correlation function of the cavity mode analytically and obtain an optimal condition for the photon *** including three transition pathways,we find that higher excitations of the cavity mode can be further suppressed and the zero-delay second-order correlation function can be reduced *** on the master equation,we simulate the system evolution and find that the analytical solutions match well with the numerical *** scheme is robust with small fluctuations of parameters and may be used as a new type of single photon source.

In a recent study published in Cell,(Nishio et al.,2024)elucidated the molecular regulatory mechanism through which organisms prevent *** process intricately involves conformational changes in the zona pellucida(ZP)*** authors present a fascinating mechanism whereby post-fertilization cleavage of the ZP subunit ZP2 triggers its oligomerization,leading to crosslinking of filaments to harden the egg coat and prevent *** also systematically analyzed the pattern of ZP filament assembly,which revealed that two protofilaments comprising type I(ZP3)and type II(ZP1/ZP2/ZP4)components interlock to form a left-handed double helix *** findings are immensely beneficial for understanding the specific role of the egg coat,providing a plethora of insights.

With the prevalence of obesity and obesity-related metabolic syndrome,such as insulin resistance in recent years,it is urgent to explore effective interventions to prevent the progression of obesity-related metabolic *** acid is a monounsaturated fatty acid that is available from dietary sources,mainly derived from marine products.P almitoleic acid plays a positive role in maintaining glucose homeostasis and reducing ***,it is still unknow the mechanism of palmitoleic acid in ameliorating insulin ***,we investigated the effects of palmitoleic acid on chow diet(CD)-fed and high-fat diet(HFD)-fed mice,which were fed CD or HFD for 12 weeks before *** administrated mice with BSA(control),oleic acid,or palmitoleic acid for 6 weeks on top of CD or HFD *** found that palmitoleic acid only improved glucose homeostasis in HFD-fed obese mice by increasing glucose clearance and reducing *** study explored that palmitoleic acid changed the composition of gut microbiota by decreasing Firmicutes population and increasing Bacteroidetes *** colon,palmitoleic acid increased intestinal tight junction integrity and reduced ***,palmitoleic acid decreased macrophage infiltration in liver and adipose tissue and increase glucose uptake in adipose ***(DAG)in tissue(for example,liver)is found to positively correlated with *** enhanced the levels of DAGs in liver but not in adipose tissue in this *** acid did not reverse the high DAG levels induced by HFD in ***,in HFD-fed mice,palmitoleic acid reduced insulin resistance by an independent-manner of *** might be associated with the beneficial effects of palmitoleic acid on altering the gut microbiota composition,improving of intestinal barrier function,and downregulating the inflammation in colon,liver,and adipose tissue.

In this study,we proposed a recognition method based on deep artificial neural networks to identify various elements in pipelines and instrumentation diagrams(P&ID)in image formats,such as symbols,texts,and ***,the P&ID image format is recognized manually,and there is a problem with a high recognition error rate;therefore,automation of the above process is an important issue in the processing plant *** China National Offshore Petrochemical Engineering *** the image set used in this study,which contains 51 P&ID drawings in the *** converted the PDF P&ID drawings to PNG P&IDs with an image size of 8410×*** addition,we used labeling software to annotate the images,divided the dataset into training and test sets in a 3:1 ratio,and deployed a deep neural network for *** method proposed in this study is divided into three *** first step segments the images and recognizes symbols using YOLOv5+*** second step determines text regions using character region awareness for text detection,and performs character recognition within the text region using the optical character recognition *** third step is pipeline recognition using YOLOv5+*** symbol recognition accuracy was 94.52%,and the recall rate was 93.27%.The recognition accuracy in the text positioning stage was 97.26%and the recall rate was 90.27%.The recognition accuracy in the character recognition stage was 90.03%and the recall rate was 91.87%.The pipeline identification accuracy was 92.9%,and the recall rate was 90.36%.

The swelling particle grouting material has demonstrated remarkable plugging effectiveness in high-pressure and large-flow burst water within karst ***,current research on the rheolog-ical model,flow computation theory,and plugging mechanism of this material is *** conven-tional grouting slurry diffusion process,using the liquid-liquid two-phase flow method,fails to accurately simulate high solubility slurry and particle *** address these limitations,this study established a precise constitutive model to describe the swelling particle slurry diffusion process in dynamic ***,a coupling calculation method was proposed to analyze the spatiotemporal heterogeneity of viscosity during slurry diffusion by considering the migration of slurry and the changes in *** investigate the interaction between particle swelling and flow field changes,a Compu-tational Fluid Dynamics-Discrete Element Method(CFD-DEM)coupling model was developed for the diffusion of swelling particle *** is demonstrated that slurry viscosity increases exponentially within the diffusion front as the particle swelling rate rises,and the drag force exhibits an intriguing behavior of initially increasing and then decreasing as the slurry flows through the ***-more,the CFD-DEM coupling model proved to be more accurate in describing viscosity distribution and diffusion distance compared to the finite element *** primary objective of this paper is to reveal the plugging mechanism and provide theoretical support for the engineering application of the swelling particle grouting material.

Porous carbon fibers are promising cathodes for zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors（ZHSs） owing to their abundant active sites,great conductivity,and stable physical and chemical ***,designing a proper preparation technique to regulate the microstructure of carbon fibers still remains a great ***,a poly vinylpyrrolidone/po-lyacry lonitrile（PVP/PAN）-derived porous carbon fiber is developed via the PVP/PAN blend electrospinning and hydrothermal selective PVP removal *** hydrothermal selective PVP removal strategy can effectively avoid a cross-linking between PVP and PAN during the traditional stabilization at air *** PVP/PAN-derived porous carbon fiber,the sufficient micropores provide abundant space for the Zn2+storage,whereas the proper mesopores contribute to the fast ion *** hierarchical porous structures endow ZHSs with high specific capacity and high-rate *** ZHS assembled with the optimal PVP/PAN-derived porous carbon fiber（PVP-PANC-0.8） displays an outstanding specific capacity of 208 mAh·g-1,high rate capability（49.5%） from 0.5 to 5 A·g-1,and 72.25% capacity retention after 10,000 cycles at 0.5 A·g-1.
