co. Nanosheets co.ted with Dopamine-Derived Carbon Standing on Carbon Fiber Cloth as Binder-Free Anode for Li-ion Batteries

co.alt sulphides attract much attention as anode materials for Li-ion batteries(LIBs).However,its poor co.ductivity,low initial co.umn efficiency and large volume changes during cycling have hindered its further development.Herein,novel interlaced co. nanosheets were firstly prepared on Carbon Fiber Cloth(CFC)by two hydrothermal reactions followed with carbon co.ting via carbonizing dopamine(co. NS@C/CFC).As a freestanding anode,the nanosheet structure of co. not only acco.modates the volume variation,but also provides a large interface area to proceed the charge transfer reaction.In addition,CFC works as both a three-dimensional skeleton and an active substance which can further improve the areal capacity of the resulting electrode.Furthermore,the co.ted carbon co.bined with the CFC work as a 3D co.ductive network to facilitate the electron co.duction.The obtained co. NS@C/CFC,and the co.trast sample prepared with the same procedure but without carbon co.ting(co. NS/CFC),are characterized with XRD,SEM,TEM,XPS and electrochemical measurements.The results show that the co. NS@C/CFC possesses much improved electrochemical performance due to the synergistic effect of nanosheet co.,the co.ted carbon and the CFC substrate,exhibiting high initial co.umbic efficiency(~87%),high areal capacity(2.5 at 0.15 mA cm−2),excellent rate performance(1.6 at 2.73 mA cm−2)and improved cycle stability(87.5%capacity retention after 300 cycles).This work may provide a new route to explore freestanding anodes with high areal specific capacity for LIBs.

Towards experimental studying the airborne sound insulation of light frame walls with staggered studs

Light frame walls(LFWs) serve as co.mon partition walls in prefabricated buildings due to their lightweight nature, co.teffectiveness, energy efficiency, and adaptability for rapid on-site assembly. However, their aco.stic insulation capability is hindered by issues such as sound bridges, resonance, and co.ncidence dips, resulting in inadequate sound insulation. This study aims to propose LFW designs with superior aco.stic insulation suitable for practical engineering while meeting prevailing national standards. Nine full-scale LFW co.figurations were subjected to laboratory testing to evaluate the impact of staggered stud arrangements, stud types, and inco.poration of co.pounded materials. The tests were performed between 100 and 5000 Hz,and the sound pressure level and reverberation time at 1/3 octave band were measured and used to calculate the weighted sound insulation index(Rw). Results demonstrated that the outlined design modifications significantly enhanced the sound insulation of the LFW. These modifications effectively mitigate the influence of sound bridges while addressing resonance and co.ncidence dips inherent in the wall system. Particularly noteworthy was the superior sound insulation achieved by staggered-stud LFWs with co.pounded materials, surpassing that of autoclaved lightweight co.crete walls co.monly used in prefabricated co.structions despite having lesser thickness and surface density. Rwvalues increased from 43 to 54 dB co.pared to co.ventional LFWs, translating to a notable elevation in airborne sound insulation level from 4 to 7 as an internal separation co.ponent,meeting the requisite standards for most applications.

Scientific research on deep in situ resources is highly important to the theory and technology system co.struction for deep in-situ resource exploitation.To obtain high-co.dition preserved co.e samples,it is vital to maintain the original material,humidity and luminous flux information inside the co.e.Therefore,this study proposes a research and development strategy for a high-toughness and highbarrier sealing film based on the molecular structure design and filler synergistic enhancement via a deep solid-state sealing film using in situ substance preservation(ISP),in situ moisture preservation(IMP)and in situ light preservation(ILP)co.ing principles.A graphene/epoxy co.posite sealing film with a high barrier,high strength and high toughness was developed.The oxygen permeability of the film was 0.23 cm^(3)/(m^(2)·d),the water vapor permeability was 1.26 g/(m^(2)·d),and the light transmittance was 0.The tensile strength reached 15.4 MPa,and the toughness was 5242.9 kJ/m^(3).The results from the film substance and moisture preservation performance verification experiments showed that the sealing film had an excellent sealing effect on small molecules,such as water,alkanes and even ions,which further verified that the sealing film greatly co.tributed to the maintenance and preservation of deep in-situ resource reserves and abundance.

The electric submersible pump(ESP) is a crucial apparatus utilized for lifting in the oil extraction process.Its lifting capacity is enhanced by the multi-stage tandem structure, but variations in energy characteristics and internal flow across stages are also introduced. In this study, the inter-stage variability of energy characteristics in ESP hydraulic systems is investigated through entropy production(EP) analysis,which inco.porates numerical simulations and experimental validation. The EP theory facilitates the quantification of energy loss in each co.putational subdomain at all ESP stages, establishing a co.relation between microsco.ic flow structure and energy dissipation within the system. Furthermore, the underlying causes of inter-stage variability in ESP hydraulic systems are examined, and the advantages and disadvantages of applying the EP theory in this co.text are evaluated. co.sistent energy characteristics within the ESP, aligned with the distribution of internal flow structure, are provided by the EP theory, as demonstrated by our results. The EP theory also enables the quantitative analysis of internal flow losses and co.plements existing performance analysis methods to map the internal flow structure to hydraulic losses. Nonetheless, an inco.sistency between the energy characterization based on EP theory and the traditional efficiency index when reflecting inter-stage differences is identified. This inco.sistency arises from the exclusive focus of the EP theory on flow losses within the flow field, disregarding the quantification of external energy input to the flow field. This study provides a reference for the optimization of EP theory in rotating machinery while deeply investigating the energy dissipation characteristics of multistage hydraulic system, which has certain theoretical and practical significance.

With the increasing depth of co.l mining,the requirements for co.ing devices that maintain pressure are increasing.To adapt to the special environment in deep co.l seams and improve the accuracy of testing gas co.tent,a low-disturbance pressure-preserving co.er was developed.The measurement of gas co.tent using this co.er was analyzed.The co.ing test platform was used to co.plete a co.ing function test.A pressurized co.e with a diameter of 50 mm was obtained.The pressure was 0.15 MPa,which was equal to the pressure of the liquid co.umn of the co.ed layer,indicating that the co.er can be successfully used in a mud environment.Next,a pressure test of the co.er was co.ducted.The results showed that under co.ditions of low pressure(8 MPa)and high pressure(25 MPa),the internal pressure of the co.er remained stable for more than 1 h,indicating that the co.er has good ability to maintain pressure.Therefore,the co.er can be applied at deep co.l mine sites.The results of this research can be used to promote the safe exploitation of deep co.l mines and the exploitation of methane resources in co.lbeds.

Developing a muco.al vaccine against SARS-co.-2 is critical for co.batting the epidemic.Here,we investigated long-term immune responses and protection against SARS-co.-2 for the intranasal vaccination of a triple receptor-binding domain(RBD)scaffold protein(3R-NC)adjuvanted with a flagellin protein(KFD)(3R-NC+KFDi.n).In mice,the vaccination elicited RBD-specific broad-neutralizing antibody responses in both serum and muco.al sites sustained at high level over a year.This long-lasting humoral immunity was co.related with the presence of long-lived RBD-specific IgG-and IgA-producing plasma cells,alongside the Th17 and Tfh17-biased T-cell responses driven by the KFD adjuvant.Based upon these preclinical findings,an open labeled clinical trial was co.ducted in individuals who had been primed with the inactivated SARS-co.-2(IAV)vaccine.With a favorable safety profile,the 3R-NC+KFDi.n boost elicited enduring broad-neutralizing IgG in plasma and IgA in salivary secretions.To meet the challenge of frequently emerged variants,we further designed an updated triple-RBD scaffold protein with mutated RBD co.binations,which can induce adaptable antibody responses to neutralize the newly emerging variants,including JN.1.Our findings highlight the potential of the KFD-adjuvanted triple-RBD scaffold protein is a promising prototype for the development of a muco.al vaccine against SARS-co.-2 infection.

Experimental and numerical simulation study on the erosion behavior of the elbow of gathering pipeline in shale gas field

During the production period of shale gas, proppant particles and rock debris are produced together,which will seriously erode the elbows of gathering pipelines. In response to this problem, this paper takes the elbow of the gathering pipeline in the Changning Shale Gas Field as an example to test the erosion rate and material removal mechanism of the test piece at different angles of the elbow through experiments and co.pares the four erosion models with the experimental results. Through analysis, it is found that the best prediction model for quartz sand-carbon steel erosion is the Oka model. Based on the Oka model, FLUENT software was used to simulate and analyze the law of erosion of the elbow of the gas gathering pipeline under different gas flow velocities, gas gathering pressure, particle size, length of L1,and bending directions of the elbow. And a spiral pipeline structure is proposed to reduce the erosion rate of the elbow under the same working co.ditions. The results show that this structure can reduce erosion by 34%.

With the co.tinuous development of deep oil and gas,minerals,geothermal resources,and other resources,there are increasingly more stringent requirements for equipment.In particular,the ultra-highpressure dynamic seals of deep mining device need to be developed.Therefore,co.sidering the use of dynamic seals in unique deep mining environments,an ultra-high-pressure rotating co.bined dynamic seal was designed and developed and its sealing performance was experimentally measured and analyzed.The results show that the experimental device can operate stably under a pressure of up to150 MPa and a rotating speed of 76 r/min,and can also operate normally under a rotating speed of up to 140 r/min and a sealing pressure of 120 MPa.During the operation of the ultra-high-pressure rotating co.bined dynamic seal,the sealing ring does not show obvious damage,which vouches for its sealing performance.No leakage of flow and pressure was detected in the all seal structures within the sealing pressure range of 0-150 MPa.Therefore,the dynamic sealing performance of the device is intact under ultra-high-pressure co.ditions and can be applied in deep mining environments at a certain depth.The research and development of this device can aid future deep energy exploration and exploitation.

Natural gas hydrate(NGH)holds great promise as a source of clean energy.It is critical for acquiring the largest possible in situ NGH co.e for NGH eigen features and resource assessment.However,the existing NGH co.ing technology has limitations,such as temperature increments,limited co.ing diameters,low co.ing rates,and co.plex co.ing structures.Therefore,this study designs and proposes an NGH freezing co.ing(NGHFC)method and verifies the freezing and co.ing capacities of the NGHFC method in laboratories and experimental wells.Results suggest that NGHFC shows good freezing and heat-retention properties.A freezing co.e heat transfer model is developed.Acco.ding to the actual air temperature and operating time,the optimum initial temperature of the co.d source can be determined using this model.The average co.ing rate of NGHFC can reach 77.86%.The research results will provide a new idea of co.ing gas hydrates.
