Perovskite solar cells with planar structure are attractive for their simplified device structure and reduced hysteresis effect. Compared to conventional mesoporous devices, TiO2 porous scaffold layers are removed in planar devices. Then, compact TiO2 electron transport layers take the functions of extracting electrons, transporting electrons, and blocking holes. Therefore, the properties of these compact TiO2 layers are important for the performance of solar cells. In this work, we develop a mixed spray pyrolysis method for producing compact TiO2 layers by incorporating TiO2 nanoparticles with dif- ferent size into the precursor solutions. For the optimized nanoparticle size of 60 nm, a power conversion efficiency of 16.7% is achieved, which is obviously higher than that of devices without incorporated nanoparticles （9.9%）. Further in- vestigation reveals that the incorporation of nanoparticles can remarkably improve the charge extraction and recombination processes.

First-principle calculations reveal that the configuration system of hexagonal boron nitride （h-BN） monolayer with triangular vacancy can induce obvious magnetism, contrary to that of the nonmagnetic pristine boron nitride monolayer. Interestingly, the h-BN with boron atom vacancy （VB-BN） displays metallic behavior with a total magetic moment being 0.46μB per cell, while the h-BN with nitrogen atom vacancy （VN-BN） presents a half-metallic characteristic with a total magnetic moment being 1.0μB per cell. Remarkably, piezoelectric stress coefficient ell of the VN-BN is about 1.5 times larger than that of pristine h-BN. Furthermore, piezoelectric strain coefficient dll （12.42 μm/V） of the VN-BN is 20 times larger than that of pristine h-BN and also one order of magnitude larger than the value for the h-MoS2 monolayer, which is mainly due to the spin-down electronic state in the VN-BN system. Our study demonstrates that the nitrogen atom vacancies can be an efficient route to tailoring the magnetic and piezoelectric properties of h-BN monolayer, which have promising performances for potential applications in nano-electromechanical systems （NEMS） and nanoscale electronics devices.

High-level ab initio calculations of aluminum monoiodide(AlI) molecule are performed by utilizing the multireference configuration interaction plus Davidson correction(MRCI+Q) method. The core-valence correlation(CV) and spin–orbit coupling(SOC) effect are considered. The adiabatic potential energy curves(PECs) of a total of 13 Λ–S states and 24 ? states are computed. The spectroscopic constants of bound states are determined, which are in accordance with the results of the available experimental and theoretical studies. The interactions between the Λ–S states are analyzed with the aid of the spin–orbit matrix elements. Finally, the transition properties including transition dipole moment(TDM),Frank–Condon factors(FCF) and radiative lifetime are obtained based on the computed PEC. Our study sheds light on the electronic structure and spectroscopy of low-lying electronic states of the AlI molecule.

The structures of the Si/Cu heterogenous interface impacted by a nanoindenter with different incident angles and depths are investigated in detail using molecular dynamics *** simulation results suggest that for certain incident angles,the nanoindenter with increasing depth can firstly increase the stress of each atom at the interface and it then introduces more serious structural deformation of the Si/Cu heterogenous interface.A nanoindenter with increasing incident angle（absolute value） can increase the length of the Si or Cu extended atom *** is worth mentioning that when the incident angle of the nanoindenter is between-45° and 45°,these Si or Cu atoms near the nanoindenter reach a stable state,which has a lower stress and a shorter length of the Si or Cu extended atom layer than those of the other incident *** may give a direction to the planarizing process of very large scale integration circuits manufacture.

Our experiments show that external focusing and initial laser energy strongly influences filament generated by the femtosecond Ti–sapphire laser in air. The experimental measurements show the filament length can be extended both by increasing the laser energy and focal length of focusing lens. On the other hand, the plasma fluorescence emission can be enhanced by increasing the laser energy with fixed focal length or decreasing the focal length. In addition, the collapse distance measured experimentally are larger than the calculated ones owing to the group-velocity-dispersion effect. In addition, we find that the line widths of the spectral lines from N2 is independent of filament positions, laser energies and external focusing.

The ultrafast dynamic process in semiconductor Ge irradiated by the femtosecond laser pulses is numerically simulated on the basis of van Driel system. It is found that with the increase of depth, the carrier density and lattice temperature decrease, while the carrier temperature first increases and then drops. The laser fluence has a great influence on the ultrafast dynamical process in Ge. As the laser fluence remains a constant value, though the overall evolution of the carrier density and lattice temperature is almost independent of pulse duration and laser intensity, increasing the laser intensity will be more effective than increasing the pulse duration in the generation of carriers. Irradiating the Ge sample by the femtosecond double pulses, the ultrafast dynamical process of semiconductor can be affected by the temporal interval between the double pulses.

In double-pulse laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(DP-LIBS), the collinear femtosecond double-pulse laser configuration is experimentally investigated with different initial sample temperatures using a Ti:sapphire laser. The glass sample is ablated to produce the plasma spectroscopy. During the experiment, the detected spectral lines include two Na(I) lines(589.0 nm and 589.6 nm) and one Ca(I) line at the wavelength of 585.7 nm. The emission lines are measured at room temperature(22 ℃) and three higher initial sample temperatures(T_s?=?100 ℃, 200 ℃, and 250 ℃). The inter-pulse delay time ranges from-250 ps to 250 *** inter-pulse delay time and the sample temperature strongly influence the spectral intensity,and the spectral intensity can be significantly enhanced by increasing the sample temperature and selecting the optimized inter-pulse time. For the same inter-pulse time of 0 ps(single-pulse LIBS), the enhancement ratio is approximately 2.5 at T_s?=?200 ℃ compared with that obtained at T_s?=?22 ℃. For the same inter-pulse time of 150 ps, the enhancement ratio can be up to 4 at T_s?=?200 ℃ compared with that obtained at T_s?=?22 ℃. The combined enhancement effects of the different initial sample temperatures and the double-pulse configuration in femtosecond LIBS are much stronger than that of the different initial sample temperatures or the double-pulse configuration only.

We investigated the dependence of laser-induced breakdown spectral intensity on the focusing position of a lens at different sample temperatures(room temperature to 300 ℃) in atmosphere.A Q-switched Nd:YAG nanosecond pulsed laser with 1064 nm wavelength and 10 ns pulse width was used to ablate silicon to produce plasma. It was confirmed that the increase in the sample's initial temperature could improve spectral line intensity. In addition, when the distance from the target surface to the focal point increased, the intensity firstly rose, and then *** trend of change with distance was more obvious at higher sample temperatures. By observing the distribution of the normalized ratio of Si atomic spectral line intensity and Si ionic spectral line intensity as functions of distance and temperature, the maximum value of normalized ratio appeared at the longer distance as the initial temperature was higher, while the maximum ratio appeared at the shorter distance as the sample temperature was lower.

Ionization and dissociation of linear triatomic molecules, carbon dioxide, are studied in 50-fs 800-nm strong laser fields using time-of-flight mass spectrometer. The yields of double charged ions CO2^2＋ and various fragment ions（CO^＋,O^n＋, and C^n＋（n = 1, 2）） are measured as a function of ellipticity of laser polarization in the intensity range from 5.0 ×10^13W/cm2 to 6.0 × 10^14W/cm^2. The results demonstrate that non-sequential double ionization, which is induced by laser-driven electron recollision, dominates double ionization of CO2 in the strong IR laser field with intensity lower than2.0 × 10^14W/cm^2. The electron recollision could also have contribution in strong-field multiple ionization and formation of fragments of CO2 molecules. The present study indicates that the intensity and ellipticity dependence of ions yields can be used to probe the complex dynamics of strong-field ionization/dissociation of polyatomic molecules.

The femtosecond filamentation in the classical and high-order Kerr （HOK） models is numerically investigated by adopting multi-photon ionization （MPI） cross section with different values. It is found that in the case that the MPI cross section is relatively small, there exists a big difference between the electron density as well as clamped intensity calculated in the classical model and those calculated in the HOK one, while in the case that the MPI cross section is relatively large, the electron density and clamped intensity calculated in the two models are nearly in agreement with each other, and under this circumstance, even if the higher-order nonlinear terms do exist, the free-charge generation and the associated defocusing in a filament are enough to mask their effects. The different behaviors of the maximum intensity and on-axis electron density at the collapse position with the pulse duration provides an approach to determine which effect plays the dominant defocusing role. These results demonstrate that it is ionization that results in the difference between the two models.
