Enhanced photocatalytic performance of S-scheme CdMoO_(4)/CdO nanosphere photocatalyst

The photoabsorption capacity,the number of active sites,and the efficiency of carrier separation of photo-catalysts are the main factors that restrict photocatalytic ***,a series of novel CdO-based S-scheme photocatalysts are prepared by a facile one-step precipitation-calcination method for the first *** CdO with a narrow band gap has no photocatalytic hydrogen evolution performance,the CdMoO_(4)/CdO composite exhibits excellent photocatalytic *** photocatalytic hydrogen evolution(PHE)performance of the optimal ratio(3∶4)is up to 7029 μmol g^(-1) h^(-1) under visible light *** the same time,the CdMoO_(4)/CdO composite also shows excellent degradation activity of water pollu-tants,and the degradation efficiency for Tetracycline hydrochloride,Oxytetracycline,Norfloxacin,Reactive red 2,and Levofloxacin is 96.33%,95.38%,88.48%,95.93%,and 77.30%under visible light irradiation for 90min,*** to the experimental characterization and theoretical calculation analysis,the introduction of CdMoO_(4) can be used to construct S-scheme heterojunction with CdO,improving the efficiency of charge separation as well as taking full advantage of redox ability,and hence improving su-perior photocatalysts *** work affords new insights into efficient PHE and antibiotic/dye degradation of CdO-based S-scheme photocatalysts.

A novel organic-inorganic hybrid, Na2（Hmorph）2[MosO26]·2H2O （1, Hmorph = morpholine）, has been synthesized by convenient aqueous solution method and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR, UV/Vis spectrum, elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis （TGA）. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals that the title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 8.0194（4）, b = 16.1398（8）, c = 12.5893（6） A, fl = 92.824（4）°, V = 1627.47（14） A3, Mr = 1439.78, Z = 2, Dc = 2.938 g/cm3, p = 3.116 mm-1, F（000） = 1364, the final R = 0.0250, wR = 0.0628 and S = 1.027 for 3209 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（/）. In compound 1, the polyanions are stacked through electrostatic interactions, coordination of Na＋ ions and hydrogen bonds to form a novel 3-D extended supramolecular ＂host＂ network with 1-D channels encapsulating organic ＂guests＂.

A new heteropolymolybdoarsenate [H2N（CH2CH2）20]lo[Mn2（AsVM09033）2].12H2O （1） has been synthesized in aqueous solution and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is made up of sandwich-type [Mn2（AsVM09033）2]10- anions, [H2N（CH2CH2）20]＊ cations and H20 molecules of crystallization. The magnetic properties of 1 have been studied by measuring its magnetic susceptibility in the temperature range of 2.0-300.0 K, indicating the existence of antiferromagnetic interactions.

Using Damour-Ruffini method,we investigate Hawking radiation from NUT-Taub-like(NT-like) black *** the total energy conservation and the back reaction of the particle to the spacetime,we get the radiation spectrum on the black hole event horizon,which is related to the change of Bekenstein-Hawking ***,we find that the radiation is not exactly thermal,and can take out information from the black hole,which can be used to explain the information loss *** result that we get satisfies the unitary theory of quantum mechanics and is consistent with the work finished before.

Analysis of Potential Energy Surface for Butanone Isomerization

The potential energy surfaces for butanone isomerization have been investigated by density function theory calculation. Six main reaction pathways are confirmed using the intrinsic reaction coordinate method, and the corresponding isomerization products are 1-buten-2-ol, 2-buten-2-ol, butanal or 1-buten-l-ol, methyl 1-propenyl ether, methyl allyl ether, and ethyl vinyl ether, respectively. Among them, there are three pathways through butylene oxide, indicating butylene oxide is an important intermediate product during butanone isomer ization. The calculated vertical ionization energies of the reactant and its products are in a good agreement with the experimental values available. From the consideration for the relative energies Of transition states and the number of high-energy barriers we infer that the reaction pathway butanone-＊l-buten-2-ol---2-buten-2-oi is the most competitive. The obtained results are informative for future studies on isomerization of ketone molecules.

In high harmonic generation(HHG),Laguerre–Gaussian(LG) beams are used to generate extreme ultraviolet(XUV)vortices with well-defined orbital angular momentum(OAM),which have potential applications in fields such as microscopy and *** experimental study on the HHG driven by vortex and Gaussian beams is conducted in this *** is found that the intensity of vortex harmonics is positively correlated with the laser energy and gas *** structure and intensity distribution of the vortex harmonics exhibit significant dependence on the relative position between the gas jet and the laser *** ring-like structures observed in the vortex harmonics,and the interference of quantum paths provide an explanation for the distinct structural ***,by adjusting the relative position between the jet and laser focus,it is possible to discern the contributions from different quantum *** optimization of the HH vortex field is applicable to the XUV,which opens up a new way for exploiting the potential in optical spin or manipulating electrons by using the photon with tunable orbital angular momentum.

High-entropy materials represent a new category of high-performance materials,first proposed in 2004 and extensively investigated by researchers over the past two *** definition of high-entropy materials has continuously *** the last ten years,the discovery of an increasing number of high-entropy materials has led to significant advancements in their utilization in energy storage,electrocatalysis,and related domains,accompanied by a rise in techniques for fabricating high-entropy electrode ***,the research emphasis has shifted from solely improving the performance of high-entropy materials toward exploring their reaction mechanisms and adopting cleaner preparation ***,the current definition of high-entropy materials remains relatively vague,and the preparation method of high-entropy materials is based on the preparation method of single metal/low-or medium-entropy *** should be noted that not all methods applicable to single metal/low-or medium-entropy materials can be directly applied to high-entropy *** this review,the definition and development of high-entropy materials are briefly ***,the classification of high-entropy electrode materials is presented,followed by a discussion of their applications in energy storage and catalysis from the perspective of synthesis ***,an evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of various synthesis methods in the production process of different high-entropy materials is provided,along with a proposal for potential future development directions for high-entropy materials.

Boosting bidirectional sulfur conversion enabled by introducing boron-doped atoms and phosphorus vacancies in Ni2P for lithium-sulfur batteries

Lithium-sulfur （Li-S） batteries have gained great attention due to the high theoretical energy density and low cost,yet their further commercialization has been obstructed by the notorious shuttle effect and sluggish redox ***,we supply a strategy to optimize the electron structure of Ni2P by concurrently introducing B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P （Vp-B-Ni2P）,thereby enhancing the bidirectional sulfur *** study indicates that the simultaneous introduction of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P causes the redistribution of electron around Ni atoms,bringing about the upward shift of d-band center of Ni atoms and effective d-p orbital hybridization between Ni atoms and sulfur species,thus strengthening the chemical anchoring for lithium polysulfides （LiPSs） as well as expediting the bidirectional conversion kinetics of sulfur ***,theoretical calculations reveal that the incorporation of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P selectively promotes Li2S dissolution and nucleation ***,the Li-S batteries with Vp-B-Ni2P-separators present outstanding rate ability of 777 m A h g-1at 5 C and high areal capacity of 8.03 mA h cm-2under E/S of 5μL mg-1and sulfur loading of 7.20 mg *** work elucidates that introducing heteroatom and vacancy in metal phosphide collaboratively regulates the electron structure to accelerate bidirectional sulfur conversion.
